👍👍👍👍 I just love the sound of that Large industrial fan in the background, must be moving some air around, I have one in my bedroom, I go to sleep real easy with that type of sound.
Morning sir. Glad to see a video this morning. Happy Father’s Day. Miss your hopper videos. But don’t blame you for doing what you have to do. I’m running step deck and freight is slow. Lot of cheap rates. So not doing to much. Take it easy old friend. Best to you and the family
You give a great view and insight to the world of being an owner-operator. Many folks don't realize the many hours spent turning wrenches when you aren't driving. My Dad rarely got a peaceful relaxing time at home because he was always in the shop getting her ready for the next run! Great video Gerald. Keep on truckin!!!!!
Yes sir! It’s not an easy life and it’s not always fun. When my buddies are in their ski boats and of having fun I’m still working. But I’m doing what I love and that’s what matters
Morning Gerald. Happy Father’s Day. Hope you and your family have a great day. Miss your hopper videos. But don’t blame you. It’s a tough market out here. Take care.
Man I’m hearing 3500-4000. I had most of this laying around. Just in the pump and PTO you’ll be around 1500 bucks. Hydraulic lines are stupid high too so that’s probably another 500. Aluminum tanks are crazy high too about 700 bucks there. 300 for the airshift and tower. Probably another couple hundred in fittings and miscellaneous stuff. Depending on how you block the 5th you could run into some money on fab work. It ain’t cheap for sure!
I'm sure you know this but if you use a stud instead of a bolt in the pto by the adapter it aint too terrible to get it on and off. Still no fun pulling them or putting them on lol
That’s actually a quarter frame. Like a between a frame dump and and end dump. It has a subframe that the suspension mounts to and scissor frames like an end dump. All the wheels stay in the ground when it dumps
It’s basically a hydraulic system to operate various trailers. It’s driven by a power take off mounted to the transmission that turns a hydraulic pump that flows hydraulic fluid back and forth from the truck to the trailer and operates the function of the trailer. In my application the pump pushed fluid to a cylinder in the trailer that raises the trailer bed to dump the load
@thedirtytrucker9633 it's more about you and your ability to make things work. Not everyone can pull a transmission put in a rear main seal and clutch, then put it all back together. Don't sell yourself short. You remind me of a very good friend I had out of lane Oklahoma. You both are top hands. Trucken ain't for sissies.
Glad to see another video Gerald. As you know I'm one of the first subscribers. And you also know I love the 359. Happy father's day brother.

Happy late father’s day to you too!
Can’t beat working on stuff yourself. You make me wanna put a wet kit on my truck seems like so much fun lol. Thanks for sharing.
It’s ok. I wish I had more trailers to be more versatile with the wet kit but it’s fun. Maybe it will open up new avenues

It’s late but I appreciate it. I miss my hopper and the road but at least I don’t miss my family. I’ll be back at it in a few months though

The ol 359 looks good in front of the end dump
Thank you!
Adapt and survive good job Bro !

Best of Luck may the good Lord Bless u
Thank you very much!
Install 2 line system with oil cooler so you can also pull tankers, walking floors, paddle floors and belt drives
That’s definitely in my mind. When I get to where I can buy a belt trailer that might be the next move
Looks good
Thanks!
Good job👍🏻
Thank you!
That’s a bad ass bit, I gota get one
Look up hougen 11078. That’s the kit
Happy Fathers Day !!
Thank you!!!
@@thedirtytrucker9633 Yw Sir !!
Enjoyed the video as usual. What is the typical cost to have a wet kit put on? Dig what you do sir.

@@thedirtytrucker9633 thanks
Where did you get the bit that your using to drill those holes
Snap on has them but you can get them other places. Hougen 11078 should be the kit
I'm sure you know this but if you use a stud instead of a bolt in the pto by the adapter it aint too terrible to get it on and off. Still no fun pulling them or putting them on lol
I also like having studs the whole way around just because it makes it way easier to jam up on there
Oh yeah. I should have got that kit! My cousins truck has studs and when I put a new transmission in it a few months ago it made that pto job a cinch!
Is that a frameless end dump?
That’s actually a quarter frame. Like a between a frame dump and and end dump. It has a subframe that the suspension mounts to and scissor frames like an end dump. All the wheels stay in the ground when it dumps
2 thicks and 1 thin
what is a wet kit and what does it do ?

How many tons can you haul?
About 24.5. This trailer is bad heavy
Sent it twice old age I guess.
lol! It happens!!!!😂😂😂
And you were worried about your content being boring. 👍
Still worried😂😂 that’s why there hasn’t been much lately!
