Steve Kinser. I think was the Best Sprint Car Driver of all Time. Before Cable TV. Wide World of Sports. Every Saturday or Sunday. All the great races. Kinser was the Best. Sprints. Champ Cars. He seemed to be a great Driver from the 70s on. He is the King. Period MPO.
I remember as a kid at eagle raceway in Nebraska we had our old motor home getting it all leveled up, and here comes this high dollar top of the line set up pulling in next to us. Low and behold the king himself gets out of the driver's seat. It was the first time I had got to talk to him outside of the pits after the races asking for an autograph. True professional on and off the track!!
My Dad started taking me and my big Brother to Ascot Speedway in the 50s. Allen Heath. Etc. and I started racing Quarter Midgets in 1956 - 3 years in Southern California. A-Gas. One year AA-Fuel. Los Alimitos. Ca. Very fortunate to race against. Jimmy and Danny Caruthers.. Bobby and Mike Olivero. Dean Thompson. Rick Goudy. Richard Shoji. Billy Felts. Great Times.
Me personally think steve kinser yes will be the king of the pack of world of outlaws forever in the pack bobby davis jr, bobby allen, doug wolfy wolfgang , keith kaufman, freddy rehmar, and a special man who cements racing one of my all time favorites brad doty. Any extras of the past please add ... these are the men who made sprintcars theres many others hodges, heuet,sills, jacobs brothers, blanes, sprintcars wont be alive now without these heros all should be remembered as our dirt heros forever whether you like them or not its the sport where it is now think and look back in time the change god bless you all from craig phillips perth australia
Hands down the "GREATEST" sprint car driver of all time, although I definitely got burned out on see Steve always winning. I was a devoted Sammy Swindell fan until I seen him pushed his wife to the ground.
