I remember attending the King’s Royals during the late 1980s and early 1990s when fans booed Steve because he “won too much”. That tone changed with time, especially after he returned from the brief NASCAR trial. I cherish this 2014 tribute to Steve as it was the last event that I attended with my Dad before he passed and we appreciated this show so much.
