      ***** The trailer is a little misleading- it's going to be more like Step Up 2, which I never saw. Look for it in 2048.

      I get that question all the time on the Happy Wheels video. It's maddening. And thank you! I hope to have some motion capture stuff up before long!

    How to extract this models form games?

    • @ClassyDogFilms
      @ClassyDogFilms  9 ปีที่แล้ว

      Александр Терсков Most of these models I was able to find on tf3dm. You can find a lot of models in normal formats such as .OBJ. For the Team Fortress Mech, I found him on Valve's SFM workshop. There is a program called Crafty which you can use to convert .MDL files to .OBJ, and the same website also has a texture converter called VTFEdit available. If you have anymore questions, feel free to ask!

      ClassyDogFilms I have a question. How did you learn to do this because I am an aspiring filmmaker (you should check out my channel)

    • @ClassyDogFilms
      @ClassyDogFilms  9 ปีที่แล้ว

      NuclearBanana77 I would say that it is mostly practice that has gotten me to this point- even though the video is very simple on the surface, it's made using lots of little skills that I've practiced over time. Things like learning how to light a subject, or camera settings, or how to set up different materials in Blender. Part of this is learned through watching tutorials on TH-cam and talking to people in forums, and another part is learned through experimentation, which is important if you want to do something that hasn't been tried before.If you want to pursue something like this, I recommend setting a goal of creating something new every week, even if it's just a still image or a short 5 second animation. You will quickly make progress in just a few months time, and when you feel confident, you can move onto longer videos.
