Games aren't built for a billion cores or threads, they'll only use what they are told to, and which an i3-10100 has enough cores and threads for any game ever, what matters is the build quality, stability of the platform, drivers, and stability of the cpu itself (aswell as the frequency of each core)
you clearly don't understand what he did. that cpu will not make any difference compared to ryzen 9 gen since that cpu is for server based and not a gaming based and the ram ? ram will not reduce your performance at all when you have enough that is mostly 16 gb of ram for these days and 32 gb ram for hogwarts legacy unless you have bunch of millions stuffs opened on the background and stuffs

It would actually be slower. Having more than 2 sticks or ram will make it run slower and slower the more you add cause it has to access more of the ram so it will take more time for even a little application that only needed 2 gigabytes of ram.
If you want to game on a threadripper just disable some CPU cores using the Ryzen master and set the clock to 5Ghz to at least 4 cores, the others can be 4.5 or 4.2, you can keep 12 cores enabled since most games won't use half of it, I recommend installing solar panels on your house to power your pc tho.

Yeah but would get wrecked in games by machines that cost a lot less. That machine is not ideal for gaming, threadripper gets destroyed in gaming benchmarks by .... gaming cpus. (Thread ripper is amazing, but it's designed for server workload, tons of threads but less speed per thread. Games don't utilize threading that way and will not see any perf improvement past 8 or so threads. 16 super fast threads way better than 64 kinda slow threads.)
