Renee, you do not need to explain yourself to your fans. Tell these haters to go suck eggs. You are so careful, patient, kind and thoughtful regarding every situation you are in. Anyone watching even a few videos would grasp that. Besides that you have a childlike glee, a joy for life that is both disarming and beguiling. Keep being your wonderful self and don't let these negative Nancies and Nelsons get you down. We respect and admire you and we love your content.
I totally understand. Cleaned out my grandma house so my brother could remodel it. Now I need to start on our family house but a little at a time. Found a lot of treasures to keep
I appreciated the way you addressed the negative comments, by patiently & calmly explaining how an estate sale works, how you have to dig through the items. Wow, that family had enough towels for the entire neighborhood. Lol! 😂 I loved the vintage books, paper, & linen. This was a good estate sale & so fun to watch. ☺️👏🩷👋
And, you really don't know what people will buy, so instead of throwing things away, let people come in and go through it, and they might just buy something that you were going to throw away in the garbage! One person's trash, another person's treasure!
when my male friend was alive we went to every possible estate sales. So interesting and often come home with great finds. I do recall feeling sort of "icky" the first house or so, but he was an old hand and talked me through and soon became to stop thinking negatively. A majority of the homes would be packed, . and often rather dirty. Which now that I am in my eighties reminds me to clean and declutter. lol. Of course it doess not help to have my home and garage filled with left overs from my parents and brother. That wallpaper book is full of beauty. You did very well. Loved going along with you.
Thank goodness others can benefit from the items in an estate sale and it doesn't go to a landfill. I don't understand how people could question how this all works. Wonder what they think should happen. HUMMM! Thanks for what you do.
Hello Renee. I know people have a problem with others going through peoples belongings but they need to remember that if people didn’t a lot of these things would go in the landfill. This way the family can payoff bills left behind and help others with things they need. I’m sure that their parents or grandparents would appreciate this. I’m in love with the wallpaper book. Take care. And thank you for saving all you did. 🕵🏼♀️🕵🏼♀️🕵🏼♀️🕵🏼♀️🕵🏼♀️🕵🏼♀️🕵🏼♀️🕵🏼♀️🫎🫎🫎☕️🫖☕️🫖☕️🫖☕️🫖🫎🫎🫎💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯
The wallpaper book was a good find! When I went to pay, the estate company employee also commented on the book, glad that I had found it. I noticed that it was “Book 2”, wonder what happened to the others? Hope that you have a nice weekend, Verette!
After my parents died we had an estate sale. We didn’t make that much money but everything was gone when we were done. We sold their house in 5 hours. We still have another house to sell but it is in a more remote area where they don’t have estate sales. Not sure what we will do there. I love watching you at the sales.
OMG..Renee, the black cat panting at 1:44..I was screaming for you to pick that up. I would have bought that from you in a heartbeat..it was so cute 😻💜
Lots of stuff there! The wall paper was great Can’t believe anybody would have a problem with you looking through stuff at an estate sale Years ago I bought a lot at auction and in it was a fabulous farm diary of a 1900 Texas mule breeder and cotton farmer. He mentioned about his mother dying in the town next to us My wife figured the family would want it. After some difficulty she tracked them down and called them. The told her they dont want it, they took it to the auction!
When I started to do estate sales and picks I couldn't help feeling like a vulture. However, I finally got used to it and it doesn't bother me anymore.
Hi Renee. Girl, you did it again. The best thing to do is go haywire through all that stuff and find the treasure's. As for people asking you why you go through the drawers is to find treasure's. I wish I could go with you next time and find some cool stuff as well. God has Blessed you more then you know Renee. HUGS 🤗 my friend. Mari'a.🤗🤗🤗🤗❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️🌺🌻👍👍👍👍🪻🏵️🌸 Renee, I hope you stayed cool. It has been the worst heat wave ever. 🥵🥵🥵
Hope you enjoyed this? Renee ever since I stumbled upon your channel I have enjoyed every single video you have put out. Way back even before the "Hot Dog House" 😆 Love you and enjoy your day!!
I have been going to estate sales for years. Started going g with my mom. Later in life my mom and dad would love to see what I got from them. Lat year I lost both of my parents. My siblings and our kids went through the house and took whatever we wanted. We had a lot left. So we organized an estate sale. It was a blessing to get a lot of the stuff out and get a little money for it. We still had stuff left over and had to take care of that. Many trip to goodwill and some stuff they wouldn’t even take. Rugs were one of them. Estate sales benefits both the seller and the fortunate people that get to let their things live on. Keep on estate going. 😃
Some pretty neat finds at this estate sale, and you also got some slight audio issues between 1:08 and 2:10. But: who cares on a hot summer day !🥵 This time my favorite item was the Boussac wallpaper collection with some fantastic designs. Some Judaica can be worth a decent amount of money, especially old books or religious items in silver. Stay cool and hydrated, and have a fantastic rest of this sunny Sunday ! 🌤 Greets from GER, U.
I think it's so cool how excited you get for vintage photos nobody else wants. You have a way into the past history that nobody else sees. I see how you appreciate the photos, and I appreciate you sharing the photos you find to show how different generations took pictures during their era.
🤩Thank you Renee for taking us on this super estate sale. I am sorry that you have to defend why you go through drawers and stuff and buy items at an estate sale.😵💫 I have been on both sides, and families, at some point, just want it gone. Thats it🥴 I can hardly wait for a more in-depth look at the goods you picked out.❤ I would have gone nuts in that place years ago💔
I just love looking into boxes and drawer you never know what you might find.. You came good with your finds especially the Wallpaper Book that would be expensive to buy i reckon and the Furs book too, all great items today thank you for sharing 😃
I like you go through everything you possibly can. Nobody is living there anyway it’s all being sold that’s what you do. Thanks because it’s like us going through everything. I enjoy it! This is what it’s all about.❤
Also, ref the people knocking you, I have been impressed by how respectful you are with the tote man's wares, you are gentle when looking and put everything back as you found it, many people could take a lesson from your decorum
I think it’s mostly that some people don’t realize that not all sales are set up & many allow one to dig through the house. I thought I would just address it right in the beginning to let the people that might not be aware know 🙂
I helped a friend clear out a small condo. We gave the nicer towels to a homeless shelter, the older ones went to an animal shelter. Good furniture went to various groups, etc. Suitcases go to domestic violence groups. Tina, Al's wife
Oh my goodness, I would have major anxiety going through all those drawers and boxes. Looks like a lot of great stuff! Hope you do well reselling some of it!
Good finds and great price. 😀 You may know this already about Rubber Duckies….”Jeep” owners give them to each other by leaving them on their Jeeps in the parking lots. Have a great day. 😍👍😍
Hi. No. I don’t know how it started but my friend has a Jeep and I saw all of these little rubber ducks on her dashboard. It was so cute to learn that she and so many others have been doing this. So if you ever find a rubber ducky on top of your Jeep, you’ll know you’ve been “Ducked”. There’s further info on “Google”. 😀
@@rozanidesignsmasquerade7050 Hello. As soon as I sent the question, I thought, I should have just Googled it to see if anything comes up. I appreciate the response though. Thanks.
I looked up the rubber ducky on eBay & that one, from the late 1970s, actually sells between $15-$20, depending on condition! A little surprise! I have heard & seen about the Jeep ducks. Jeep owners also do a little wave at each other too!
Just a thought, would you and Mr. Stacks ever load up his van with higher end items from Estate Sales, Auctions and drive off to NYC flea markets such as St. Anthony’s Market, Brooklyn Flea & Chelsea Flea to take advantage of a higher clientele?
Miss Moose makes Sunday a "funday" with a new video. I could watch you dig all day! Dickel thought you were going to buy that bottle of Manischewitz wine for him! haha....'Man, Oh Manischewitz"
So fun to create with wallpaper book. Hope your junk journal journey is going well ice of you to educate re estate sales, I love them and look forward to having the health to resume. One of my favorite books as a young adult was Cadillac Jack, fun tale of a picker
They WANT you to dig! The more you dig the more they hope you BUY! If THEY missed something that is on THEM for not doing due dilligence BEFORE the sale. Isnt the digging one of the draws to get people to these sales? The mentalitty that maybe you can find gold up in them draws ( Literally LOL). Dont let the nay sayers get to you Renee. PS I still am in shock you are only allowed 1 can of garbage where you live. If I lived near you I would invite you & Taco to bring your trash to me to save $$$. Trash pickup isnt that why we pay Property Taxes??? Whats next a bill for street plowing during snowstorms? Happy Hunting Renee!
It does depend where you live, village, city, town, rural.....it could depend on ordinances or manpower and equipment too and location of nearest landfill

Yeah...let's GO!! Well, if my home was ever opened to an estate sale, anyone suffering from "Ranidaphobia*" would run out screaming! Speaking of "screaming"...that painting of the woman in the red sweater is CREEPY!!! I'd sure have a sale...rather to make money and that my stuff would not end up in a dumpster, but lovingly preserved by people such as you! Many of the items I treasure came from estate sales. I bought a vintage wallpaper book and took it apart. I told sheets in sets. Easy sale.
Mine too!
Lots of stuff there! The wall paper was great

Oh my goodness, the bright red bath and towels!😮 😂
Wasn't that something!?
I did ask myself when I went home why I didn’t buy at least one or two extra bath towels for myself!
@PaperandMoose were those new towels my problem with towels are they never stay soft and the light colored towels after several uses the color fades
When I started to do estate sales and picks I couldn't help feeling like a vulture. However, I finally got used to it and it doesn't bother me anymore.

All peace and love for your estate sale video. ❤
Rubber Duckie youre the one
You make bathtime lots of fun
Rubber duckie im awfully fond of you 😊
Thank you for another video you got some great treasures. ❤
It is kind of wierd going in all the drawers, closets etc..but if not a sale it would be all thrown away.
I've noticed recently lots of estate sales are done when the owners are still living but downsizing at a older age, part of life
I love to look at the old books. Some estate sales are very expensive. The family wants the maximum amount of money they can get out of everything.
I think estate sale lets stuff move on and is so much better then it gets thrown away❤

My mom ran estate sales. Digging is all part to treasure hunting. The basic item can be a piece to complete a project or a collection.
Oh If you have extra towels , blankets & sheets ,the Humane Society near you or others rescues are always in need .
Hopefully whoever is hired to do the cleanout donates instead of tossing!

I hope you will model the dress if it fits you!I love old aprons!

I want to see you model the vintage dress if it’s your size!
I agree. Keep doing what you’re doing. Thanks

I love picking up vintage coloring books, some sell very well for me.
That is better than landfill , so well done you for all you do..❤❤❤🎉
I always go back a second time when there is alot of stuff at an Estate Sale. There is usually always things that you missed the first time around!
Poofy polka dots, super
sea horses, krazy Klee-like prints, majestic wallpaper book. That was an artist's lair. The blue flower painting was nice. And Ernie? 🎼 Rubber ducky you're so fiiine…..”
I loved the black cat paintings that you passed on in the beginning of the video. You got some cute stuff though
Renee, anyone who criticized you for going through drawers and closets obviously doesn’t understand estate sales. Some people just wanna criticize.
If that was the house you were walking away from at the end of the video, wow! What a cool mid-century modern exterior!!
It was not the house that had the sale, but I agree! Wish I could have seen inside that home!
