Bruce is one of the best interviews during the season. Has a broad understanding of the game and a perceptive insight into what's important and what's not. Nice 30min chunk!
A "talent fee" - lol! What will it be called if Tennessee is garbage in 3yrs? I can see measures like this getting more ludicrous and desperate moving forward!
I think Bryce Young finds his footing, but it will be somewhere else. Two places I think of would be in Miami depending on where Tua’s health is at and Los Angeles depending on what Stafford wants to do and how much longer he wants to play.
This talent tax is interesting. I wonder if programs realize that will embolden fans to slam players and coaches and programs more when they underachieve. And they’ll feel more empowered because they’re literally paying more money to have a better product
Rich has asked when is Arch going to transfer on about 6 different shows since the day he committed to Texas. It's always been amusing to me that he wants there to be drama so bad around Arch and since transferring won't work now you've got to go with "who do you start"
Rich, you ought to know human psychology well enough to know that people will not change unless there is sufficient suffering. Not when there is so much self interest and self-preservation going on. The current system is locked, so that nobody dares do anything that will make them less competitive with their peers. Whether that is a coach, a school, a conference, etc. Too many people have to agree on what's fair, and agreement is going to take sacrifice and rightly motivated compromise. With so much money, and reputation, and prestige on the line, trust is incredibly hard to build. You need the crucible of suffering to make individuals a team. And ironically that's what college football, as a sport, crucially lacks. Smarts change nothing. Only suffering.
It’s not hard: Bryce Young sucks right now because the Panthers traded every high draft pick they had over the next two years to get him, AND a number one receiver that would’ve helped him immensely

If you are a biscuit lover, Tudors is the stuff.

When you don’t understand the in and out of sports, you rely on drama to produce content

Arch learned how to read defenses by age 10, NFL defenses by age 12.

Don’t bring this guy back on
Brady Bledsoe? lol Ewers is a Heisman candidate and project top 10 pick. Everyone wants to make something out of nothing 🙄
All scripted.. Arch needed to get seen and he did it with lesser competition.
I wouldn't draft Quinn, injury prone guy in the NFL....😢
start watching at 7:36. Eisen is barely watchable
