I just bought one of those about 8 months ago I'm in the process of restoring it right now I love these third gen Camaros. Alot of work goes into bring it back but hard work comes great reward.

I just bought a 87 350 and it has the stock exhaust still!!! This flo master sounds perfect.

My 1st car was a 1983 Z28. I had it for probably ten years. I miss that thing! I had it painted almost the exact same color as this one. It was Dodge viper blue with Chrome flakes added to paint and the bottom ground effects, hood indents, and spot under headlights was platinum silver. I changed the interior to black and blue from other cars. Solid centerline wheels. It was straight y piped with double tail pipe ends out the back. 305 with shift kit and b&m ratchet shifter. Every time it shifted to 2nd the tires would bark! I got pulled over all the time and I wouldn't even be doing nothing wrong. I think they wanted to see if I would take off on them or something. Only once I got a ticket for headlight out and 3 Lebanon City cops pulled me over at the same time for that!
Ticket got thrown out in court but had to sit there all day and miss work. If anyone in middle TN or anywhere else knows where my old 83 z28 car went after I sold it. Send me a message. Be cool to know where it is now

I AGREE BUT I DO HAVE MY 92 ANIVERSARY CAMERO Z28 AND IN MY OPINION THE BODY STYLE WITH THE HOOD SIDE SKIRTS AND THE REAR WING IS MY FAVORITE LOL I REALLY LIKE TO HAVE A FULL EXHAUST DONE TOO IT AND TRY TO ADD SOME POWER WITHOUT CHOPPING THE CAR UP.

Always was my favorite camaro body style since 15 now 46. And it's a 305 tpi if it's a manual transmission,which I see it is. The 5.7 came only with the 4 speed automatic. Great sounding exhaust tho.

This guys got them HawksMotorsports aftermarket reproduction rims,these are 17” they did a great job on them….you can get 85-87 with the single line in the spokes or The 88-90 ones that had the 2 lines in the spokes …anything bigger than 17’s look too big for these wheel wells…
That’s not a 350. That’s a 305tpi with a 5 speed. They didn’t make 5 speed 350s in thirdgen firebirds or Camaros.
I had a blue IrocZ in 89 blue is the best color for one of these sounds really good 👍👍👍
90 with 87 front seats had me confused for a second. Very nice car! Hawks got the wheels just right. And those g-force comp-2’s? They look similar to gatorbacks.

Not saying you are wrong , all I can say is this , I have a video on TH-cam of my 91 c1500 , 350 , high flow cat and Super 44 , and it’s louder than this car .
@@mattmc8391 the car has no cats. 100 percent gaurunteed.
@@mattmc8391 He’s right, you can tell it doesn’t have a catalyst because of how hollow and raspy the Super 44 sounds. He never shows the underside of a cat-less vehicle too so that also confirms it.

I always wanted an IROC when I was younger.
I did have a 91 Pontiac formula 350 with FBO. I thought I was the shit until one of my buddies bought a grand national. It was bone stock when he got it even though I had FBO on the formula he smoked my ass.
Would have been nice to see the install from underneath.
Thirdgens like that need a 3" single in, dual outlet dumped for best growl and sound... It's what i got, love it! Original 2 chamber 40 series!!
Flowmonster has EXACT same part number flowmasters do!!! They are the true original aluminized Flowmaster of yore, make no mistake!!

Flowmasters are weird like that. Takes a while to burn off the oils and temper the metal and then they get louder

I have an 86 IROC same color.
I wonder if it's a 5.0 5 speed or 5.7 t56 swap. Any more info on this guys iroc? My brother has a 88 iroc we call him the tird gen ( the car not my brother)
I was thinking the exact same thing. I don’t believe you can get a 5.7 L with a manual transmission.
@@johnnywood8082 IROC Z’s that came with 5.7 are only in automatics, 5.0 w/ tune port injection and V6 only came in automatic so the must have done a conversion or they just added the badges to it
Want a better meaner sound, redo the whole exhaust system. Header all the way back. The original Y pipe sucks. I removed Flowmaster 40 series aggressive and installed GMMG chambered exhaust and put a small cam in motor and upgraded the TPI.
Sweet ride.
Time to go to Forza and build.

They never offered a 5.7 with a standard. The 350’s only came with an auto.

Not a stock 5.7 must be swapped 5.7 was only available in automatic

Hawks motor sports.com......they have chrome with gray or gold and there 17” 100% factory reproductions like 949.00 a set. A must have if yer redoing a iroc and want factory wheels..85-87’s. And the dual groove 88-90’s...
