- We have worked through some crazy weather this year, including harvesting cherries in some seriously hot and muggy weather. This week we not only start making recipes with our home grown cherries, but mark the end of the season with one of our favourite local food festivals… Alcongosta cherry festival.
Enjoy!

I love the way everything is evolving and shows the benefits of last year's work.
Os vegetais estão lindos. Vocês foram abençoados com as cerejas, que bacana.
Couves (varias qualidades) muito bom!!!!Beijos e abraços!!!!
Thanks for taking us to the festival with you and sharing in the activities. The cherry harvest has certainly given loads of great morsels to eat and drink now and into the future. Loved the video, thanks for sharing. Pauline, Australia
Thank you for sharing 🙂
You need to put more vodka in the jars, all the way to the top; no cherries uncovered or it’ll mold. ❤
Will add more today! Thanks!
Yum. All that festival food looked delicious. 😋
I think you might be able to get some wet cardboard and lay it in pieces over the weeds in the veg bed with too many weeds. Then just lay more straw on top.
lovely video!
Al ready a lot of vegetables, did you sow the flowers ? Try to collect as many dry flowers seeds for next year. Why not designated a parcel that contains a lot of vegetables that you do not harvest but that you will let flower for the seed. Nice festival 😊
