Cheers, I love them all, just one more to come which will be amazing, then another I have preordered for next year. If I had space there is another I've seen I would love but I'll only go for that if I can make a nice area for it as don't want stuff crammed.
I think that looks awesome lee buddy 👊 i wouldnt of noticed the little things like you did bud, i like how his one foot is slightly raised with the claws up. He looks great with the others on the shelf 😊
Cheers Steve buddy, I've always been a perfectionist and also notice imperfections straight away. I try and keep that in check more these days but it's a tough thing to live with, haha. I've relocated him to the other shelf now and he looks more at home there.
Wow that Gorgo looks awesome mate, I like how one foot is lifting it shows movement, the eyes and teeth are perfect, I agree it needs a consistent gloss, a shame about the scratches on the back but I'm sure you could touch those up, mate those figures all together look stunning mate
Ah cheers Scott, yeah I think they look brilliant together, and I have one special space reserved for the slowly incoming😉 Really chuffed to have a Gorgo figure after all these years, not something I ever expected to see. I've already touched those scratches up, just carefully used a sharpie and can barely see them now, also sorted out the back issue as it wasn't right. I agree the lifted foot looks good, a bit more dynamic look.
I can't quite put a date on when I first seen Gorgo but I know it was on BBC1 around 7PM, I'd probably guess around 1978/79. I still remember quite a bit about it but that was the last time I seen it. I did notice the other day that the full film was on TH-cam so I might give it another watch.
Oh yes it's great that the full film is on youtube, quality is pretty good too. I'd watched it on there a few times before picking up the 4k which is fantastic.
@@nerdygeezer78 yeah, very different look materials wise to the X-Plus etc. Of course Gorgo is also a very different appearance in general, but I think he's pretty cool.

@@retroimportgamer513 cheers James, I wasn't either until the '74 Godzilla but it's very addictive surrounding yourself with nostalgic figures. @@louisborselio8608 Hi Louis, I need to do the back again as it has pretty much reset from the fix. Will try freezing after the heat treatment next time.
@@Tetlee I wouldn't recommend freezing because it might return to the undesired state when it reaches room temperature. What you need is some sort of big squeezing type clamp Just remember after getting softened from the heat to squeeze it way past the point of where you want it to be so it doesn't retract to where it was when you started.
@@stewsretroreviews He sure does, to me Gorgo always had a mean but also kinda cute appearance. Certainly not the most terrifying monster/ kaiju out there😉 Cheers Paul mate.

Very nice figure indeed good sir, great addition to your collection.🎬🙌☘️
@@Pjvenom1985 hey thank you Patrick, she came from the Irish waters to rampage through London😁
Cool I love to collect model figures

Nice one, It looks fantastic, Can't wait to see what you're getting from Japan
Cheers Marc, me neither, now that will be the biggest of all, and rightly so too 😎
Great wrap around art on box and great simple packaging too nice and standing ready to go 😎

If you want a little gloss anywhere, lightly spritz it with a super hold hairspray and don't touch it for a least an hour.
