In the light of present circumstances, I find I am very much in the mood for this track. A salient reminder of how life was growing up in the constant shadow of mutually assured destruction, and when the glittering towers of the super rich were beginning to rise amidst the ruins of urban deprivation. Certainly some of Fish's best and most powerful lyrics.

Heavy Horses off the album Heavy Horses by Jethro Tull. Lyrics are great, it's about agricultural evolment and a possible return to old ways. The whole album is great, and I'm not the biggest Tull fan... You can only enjoy All the best

Great reaction and commentary on Fish’s Matillion. They’ve been always brilliant. Poignant lyrics, great delivery. Try Grendel, an early Marillion song, when Prog was “not cool” and they dared to do their take on Suppers Ready. Ballsy!
I like you and I love Marillion....but PLEASE react live versions,if not aviable the original tracks but NEVER this "remaster"-bullshit. I have little hair but while hearing this version I'm losing clumps of them.
"Not their best album"? Euh... Ça se discute... Les années passant, "Fugazi" est devenu mon préféré. (Je ne parle que des 4 albums avec Fish, je préfère ne pas parler de ce que Marillion est devenu ensuite - hormis "Seasons end")
@@alnitak208 je lui préfère les autres de la période Fish, notamment Script qui reste le meilleur pour moi. Même B side est vraiment très bon. Pour la période Hogarth quelques bonnes chansons par ci, par là et deux albums qui sortent du lot : Brave et afraid of sunlight qui est le denier album que j’ai régulièrement écouté. Je suis plus trop le groupe depuis.
@@pascalfleury5089 difficile de départager les quatre albums de la période Fish : je les adore tous, chacun est mon préféré à tour de rôle... 😁 J'ai adoré Seasons End, et j'ai naïvement cru que mon groupe préféré allait rester mon groupe préféré même sans Fish. J'ai détesté Holidays in Eden (excellente musique, mais pop alors que j'attendais de la prog). Je n'ai pas accroché à Brave, sans doute une belle œuvre d'art, mais absolument dénuée de mélodie "chantable", ce qui pour moi est rédhibitoire. J'ai tourné la page "Marillion" après Brave, tout ce qu'ils font désormais me paraît désespérément insipide, alors que je les trouvais passionnants avant le départ de Fish (et jusqu'à Seasons' End inclus)
One of their very best. And Fish's lyrics are world class poetry.
