- Today AD is welcomed to Los Angeles, California by Kathy Hilton for a tour of her glittering holiday home. Anyone who’s gotten to know Hilton via her breakout turn on season 11 of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills knows she’s the type to go big or go home-and with Christmas, she does both. Each room in Hilton’s home-which includes seven bedrooms, eight bathrooms, multiple sitting rooms, a butler’s pantry, and an open plan specifically designed for entertaining-has a different feel to it. The name Hilton may bring visions of sugar-plum fairies dispatched from all over Beverly Hills to craft her perfect winter wonderland, but fans of the Bravo darling know better. She does employ some assistance (“I have a wonderful lady that helps me, and she has a young man that comes and helps with all the stuff that’s really high up, because that’s a little scary,” Hilton says), but every touch is purely personal.

I love Mrs. Hiltons collections, her Christmas collectibles are so beautiful and meaningful to her. It reminds me of my mom and her collection. This is such a great way to share memories and traditions with family . Thank you Architectural Digest for doing this home .

I love how her house doesn’t feel like a show house, like the other houses featured on AD where every corner is clean and perfect. You can see the unfolded blankets thrown over the couches in her home cinema. That’s what makes a house looks homey and I love it!

Part of what makes Kathy so likable is that she’s unapologetically garish with her holiday decor, and in doing so she also shows her love of Christmas. I loved all the vintage Christmas items, and if I had that many rooms to decorate with a collection like that; I would also put a different tree in every room just to show it all off! 🎄

I say “Do It!!!” A friend of mine lives in a two-bedroom apartment & every Christmas, sets up her 8 different Christmas trees…each with their own theme…she luvs it & it makes her happy.

Kathy's home is elegant yet very homey at the same time. It has a warm feeling to it unlike some celebrity (RH) have very cold looking homes. I adore Kathy Hilton, we are the same age and seem to like the same things. Can't get enough of Kathy. She's the gift that keeps on giving.

I absolutely agree!!! Kathy most definitely has an eye for interior design & I love that she fluffs her stuff, like I do!!! LOL… Fluffing everything from drapes, curtains, to toss pillows is key, to complete any look, it truly does make a difference!!! 👍🏻

What I like about Kathy is that she is not pretentious but authentically who she is. Loved the house, I could relate to it because it wasn't stuffy and loved the decorations!
Not pretentious 😂😂😂 she paid men to come in the dead of night & kidnap her daughter of to a school because she went to a few parties & was embarrassed incase her swanky upper east side friends found out. And flat out refuses to speak about the abuse she suffered!
I counted at least 6 trees. And she “brings in” a pre-lit tree every year because she doesn’t do lights. “We just had a 3 day wedding here”

I love how kathy's home is a "real" home. It's cozy, it's beautiful and it has it's messes like the rest of us. I also enjoyed the fact that she actually decorated it all herself (unlike some other celebrities who have designers or staff that do it all for them).
I like Kathy's energy, and despite her palatial home, she seems refreshingly down to earth.

I think they plan to move to another place but they love this place. It is a very nice house..so much space! They also seem practical and not wasteful..like Kathy and her daughters share clothing and she could easily dispose things and buy new ones but she keeps them and use it again like the fabrics she mentioned.

I was really surprised by Kathy's personality & how much I enjoyed watching this😅. Kathy seems charming, friendly & is quite talkative, which I absolutely love. It didn't feel like she was putting on an act & that she was being comfortably herself. Her home (even though it's huge) feels so inviting & personal, unlike a lot of celebrities homes we see on AD that feel sterile show homes.😂

I love Kathy she reminds me of my mom who I lost to cancer May 1 2013 who absolutely loved holidays however Christmas was her favorite and she would have a tree in every room even our bedrooms and they were decorated based on what we loved she remembered all the little things that make a person feel wonderful I miss her everyday and I try to keep up the tradition but what I would give to have her back if even for a day to bake together those were some of my best memories and Kathy reminds me of my mom who just exudes sunshine and that’s what we all need a little touch of sunshine you can tell she does the decorating for her and her family as a mom who loves her children and that’s beautiful I hope her kids see how extra extra she does all the little things to make their holidays memorable thank you AD for this video I literally smiled throughout the entire thing remembering my own mom
