There is a Japanese train that is used by the Emperor of Japan and it’s so elegant - and there is another one that I’ve seen that goes way beyond First Class
it's always a pleasure watching all your train travel videos mr kuga-san. when i ride metra, i always watch your videos and imagine myself on a sleeper or shinkansen bullet train🚄🚅🚆. like rick steves says: KEEP ON TRAVELING. 🙏📿
I'm a native american. When we burn sage for purification, we do the same as you do with incense - we sweep it over our head & shoulders, but we do it to banish evil spirits or the evil eye ✌✌

I always enjoy your train tours of course but I also really loved the extra tour of Asakusa and Sky Tree! Having visited there myself it brought back great memories. Thank you for including that part of your trip! Also, I really enjoy your subtle sense of humor you are so lowkey funny (I was giggling at your caption of being too evil to visit the temple) 😆 Arigato!
It is my dream to one day settle down in Japan. I love everything about Japan...and your videos are a great way to enjoy some bits and pieces of the country, culture, people... ❤
Japan top 5 🇯🇵: My experience Tokyo - The bustling capital city offers a mix of modern and traditional attractions, including iconic landmarks like Tokyo Tower and the historic Imperial Palace. Kyoto - Known for its numerous temples, shrines, and traditional gardens, Kyoto is a perfect destination for those seeking a glimpse into Japan's rich cultural heritage. Osaka - This vibrant city is famous for its vibrant food scene, lively nightlife, and attractions such as Universal Studios Japan and Osaka Castle. Hiroshima - A city with a tragic past, Hiroshima is now a symbol of peace and resilience. Visitors can explore the Peace Memorial Park and Museum to learn about the atomic bombing and its aftermath. Hakone - Nestled in the beautiful Fuji-Hakone-Izu National Park, Hakone offers stunning views of Mount Fuji, hot springs, and traditional ryokans, making it a popular destination for nature lovers and those seeking relaxation.📸
What perfect weather you had for your journey. The sky so blue and the fields so green, did you feel lucky? あなたの旅にはなんて完璧な天気だったんだろう。空はとても青く、野原はとても緑で、あなたは幸運だと感じましたか?
Thanks!! I took the train from Yokohama to Nikko with my parents when I was a 10 year old boy, and it was a beautiful experience. I remember I had a badger figurine wearing a hat carved out of wood.
The train looked very spacious and efficient, and beautiful destination of Asakusa, will definitely have to put it on the list of places to visit. Thank you for sharing 😊
Thank-you so much once again..wow what a high tower l dont think id be able to do it...I will stick to trains on the ground...also a really great train so fast so smooth so neat thanks for sharing this...makes me want to visit japan soon...stay safe have wonderful travels as always regards Doc from Down Under in Australia
Great video, what a fascinating train! I stayed in Asakusa for several days in 2020 and loved Sensoji, it's such a beautiful location, and the whole area is just wonderful. Thanks for your take on it!
What a cool coach. I wanna feel like I'm in a living room, too, on a train. I was at the Asakusa temple on New Year's Eve 10 years ago. Even got to wear a traditional kimono.
16:29 I don't read or speak Japanese but I'm pretty sure that says "You will eat copious meals of delicious foods, all in establishments with fierce Air Conditioning"
I love when a Japanese railroad does something (the overhead monitors) that perplexes a Japanese person, lol. You saw the gods of wind and thunder, then saw that storm. You were in touch with higher forces that day! I appreciate your subtle humor and look forward to more journeys in '24.
Only 93°? Try well over 100°F for 3 or 4 months. I appreciate the fact that it's very humid, however, so that makes it feel much warmer. Beautiful place.
Thanks for the video! What a beautiful train. And...wait...what???? Only US$25.00 for the beautiful ride? I'm buying four tickets and just ride back and forth!
I've lived in Tokyo for 30 years, and this video is really useful for me! I'll definitely try to get a ticket on this train, but in the opposite direction from Asakusa to Nikko. The carriage you were in looks great and a very reasonable price. Also, I now know tips on how to use the snack bar from your video - thanks so much! :)
PSA at 18:40: That is lightning. Thunder is the noise it makes. What we're seeing is a beautiful display of lightning (a good way to remember it is that it's a light show).
$25 USD THATS IT?!? I thought you was talking luxury prices....i can swing that. Couldve sworn I paid more for the ride on the Hinotori to Nagoya from Osaka. I absolutely loved that train. Bought the keychain too!! Love the X aesthetic and style of the carriages. The living room feel of the car youre in also seems really cool and unique
Very cool! Thank you very much for making this. I went online as soon as reservations opened for the date I wanted and managed to select the seat behind the driver (heading to Nikko) in the Cockpit Suite 🥳. But then while completing the reservation, someone else managed to purchase it first and the whole suite was sold out. 😭😭😭
Thanks Kuga. I'm going to do a search for Group 7 Boulder Colorado. That is a great shirt. If Elon were to ride the Special X he'd surely do his thing: destroy it. So, no to Elon. But, he wouldn't be allowed in the temple anyway...✌🤟
It's probably the other way round, Space X (the space launch company founded by Elon Musk) has been around for quite a number of years, whereas I think the Spacia X train is relatively new.
about 30 years ago i took the train from bern to zürich first class 😅and payed about 90 to 100 chf. by the return travel the first class was occupied. i asked the ticket man if he would return me the difference from first to second class. he told me, that i could ask the return at the station of bern. i renounced it, because i was too tired to fight, but the next time i went by car....i hour less travelling, with opera music in my car.... that was the last time i took the train...
I just wish that U.K. trains were to this high standard - if Japan, China and the rest of Europe can do this, there is absolutely no excuse why the U.K. is lagging so far behind in terms of its trains, because it’s just laziness more than anything else

One knows they're not in the US when train travel options like this exist! Beautiful. I wish you had been able to show a compartment room.
Thanks!
Thank you!🤝

We Indians burn incense as well, and for the same reasons...mostly as an offering to the deities
Thank you for 'taking' me on this most interesting train and trip 😊!
This is so cool. I just love that someone went 'hear me out: couches on a train' and they did it! Love it!
The trains in Japan are truly something else!

Arigato!
The choices that Japanese train passengers have is amazing to my Canadian eyes. We have VIA rail here, only lame trains that go on lame routes.
It is my dream to one day settle down in Japan. I love everything about Japan...and your videos are a great way to enjoy some bits and pieces of the country, culture, people... ❤
Wow, simply beautiful Train.
The train and asakusa are truly beautiful.
Nice sunset view of Tokyo from the Tembo Deck. Thanks for the tour.

What a beautiful city and train ride! Thank you, Kuga! 👍
My wife and I really enjoy your videos. Enjoy your travels!
Wow amazing!
Thanks!! I took the train from Yokohama to Nikko with my parents when I was a 10 year old boy, and it was a beautiful experience. I remember I had a badger figurine wearing a hat carved out of wood.
Thank you!🤝
What an amazing thing to wake up to this morning 😊
Its like riding in your living room!!! And the cost seems fairly reasonable!
Probably your best ever! Thank you.
Lovely video! I enjoyed very much the end!!!!
So many tourists! Good for Japan's economy! Thanks, KT!
The train looked very spacious and efficient, and beautiful destination of Asakusa, will definitely have to put it on the list of places to visit. Thank you for sharing 😊
Nice train. Looks very comfortable.

Bellisimo.
It may be a new concept in train travel but to me you have ridden on many better ones. Great views. Bushyboy Oz.
As always that was very enjoyable. Thank you.

The way the hexagonal windows create the “X” appeals to me!
Thanks for adding AUD to your price calculations. You obviously liked Australia when you were here!
I love your outfit! Also thanks for the video. it inspires me to travel more :)
please can you guys come and rebuild the amtrax line in the USA? this is amazing
Japan trains keep on amazing me in a positive way.
Thank you for the train ride. Will you try the cockpit compartment, please?
An excellent journey thank you sir👍🙏🇬🇧
So happy to see you made it home safely! I love all your videos and hope to one day see you in Japan!
Great trip, finally you take this viral train.
Привет Куга! Очень люблю смотреть про Японию! Спасибо!
absolute fantastic train, love it, thank you for sharing it with us ❤
16:29 I don't read or speak Japanese but I'm pretty sure that says "You will eat copious meals of delicious foods, all in establishments with fierce Air Conditioning"
That's fun they have couches
The Tokyo Sky Tree may be about 100m taller than the CN Tower in Toronto, but the actual viewing platforms are at roughly the same height.😆

The ITO EN tea bottle misters are awesome
A living room on rails, nice!!! And did I see that correctly... $25 US dollars? That is a good bargain!
Love the videos. Gives me more ideas of places to go in Japan.
Only 93°? Try well over 100°F for 3 or 4 months. I appreciate the fact that it's very humid, however, so that makes it feel much warmer. Beautiful place.

Thank you Kuga, very cool!
Fascinating view from the top! wow!!
Wow what a beautiful train. It doesn’t look like a train…very confusing. You’d think your in luxurious hotel. The toilet was a Toto???? Niiiice!!!!!
Beautiful ❤
Kuga , Thanks Much!
nice - I enjoyed the green car shinkansen to Aomori recently, but this looks like lounge room furniture !
我在大雪紛飛的時候去過日光,真的很值得紀念!
Ver os raios a partir dessa altura e dessa posição é magnífico!
Very nice train ride.

It is a shame the trip isn’t longer, for you to really enjoy it, since the train is so nice.
電車はとても素敵なので、あなたが本当にそれを楽しむために、旅行が長くないのは残念です。

4:03 That seems a very reasonable price - and those fabrics are going to be a nightmare to keep clean over time
Very nice :) - please keep going ............
So interesting, thanks,
$25 USD THATS IT?!? I thought you was talking luxury prices....i can swing that. Couldve sworn I paid more for the ride on the Hinotori to Nagoya from Osaka. I absolutely loved that train. Bought the keychain too!!

that is crazy!
I wish we had trains in Canada like Japan. Also they should let you walk around the train.
We'd love to do this next year, any tips for getting tickets...how far in advance do they go on sale or any re-sellers or package sales?
Thanks Kuga. I'm going to do a search for Group 7 Boulder Colorado. That is a great shirt. If Elon were to ride the Special X he'd surely do his thing: destroy it. So, no to Elon. But, he wouldn't be allowed in the temple anyway...✌🤟
Asakusa, home of most terrifying rollercoaster on the planet
I ❤ 🇯🇵
Wow. I can’t believe I’m about to say this. But. I have an actual crush on a train 😂 wow wow wow.
My third grade class will see this video Kuga San!
4:09 $25 for a look luxury train ride that’s crazy, in America it would be like $700 plus tip
I always support you my brother that soooooooooooogoooooooooddddddd😊 all the best tell me about some medical colleges if possible 😅😊😊😊😊
8:05 Looks totaly like some random Windows Wallpaper. Nice place.
It's probably the other way round, Space X (the space launch company founded by Elon Musk) has been around for quite a number of years, whereas I think the Spacia X train is relatively new.
Admit it Kuga! You only ride the trains for the food!!
"Noice?" How long did you spend in Australia Kuga-san? 😆
Hello! I will be going to Tokyo Big Sight for expo, can you recommend any capsules hotels. Thank you

was so laughing of your comments xxx❤
Liked the yellow seats. Not sure about the living room idea. Wish it had one of those glass type cars. That coke is not real at all.
How much for a compartment on this train?
Bellissimo video, peccato solo che ad un certo punto,i sottotitoli in italiano spariscono...
And all we have is Amtrak.
which city do you live?
