Hey Simon, that is very doable I think but you would need a big base to handle them with as they are very fragile. If you are any good at resin casting I would probably attempt to encase them in a cylinder of clear resin perhaps?
Those do look really nice, Bishop come with the power loader set I think, one get a standing whole bishop and a post Queen halved Bishop. £20 for the marines is a good price. I remember buying a set of die cast in the late 80s or early 90s that were great, still have them.
The price is great, finally an aliens game I can afford.

Yeah Lesding Edge did several Aliens figure sets but they are very costly now
