Nice, I enjoy hearing your opinions about non-wargame games sometimes! One thing I particularly enjoyed: the shots of the game's components as you were talking about the game. Hope you keep doing that, for wargame reviews also. Great stuff!
Arrrhhhhhhh absolutely badasses, pack 'em in, get in there! This game and the video game ALIENS: Dark Descent are like ALIENS simulators. Closest to playing the movie we'll ever get and they did a great job on both of them.
The APC from Prodos Games was amazing. Resin but the roof also came off to show interior detail. It's the exact size of the APC tile in this game also. Too expensive to buy one 2nd hand now though :(
You hit when rolling equal or lower than the number on the aim dial and not only when rolling lower. When spawning blips and there are no blips in the pool, move every blip 3 spaces instead.
Its a fun game. We found some rules a little confusing but after a few missions we've ironed out our mistakes. Going to use some house rules to improve it where needed such as increasing our movement as we can't see how we'd advance far in a bug hunt with 6 characters
Love this game. My only wish would have been if they used the white border for the walls and grey border for movement/corridor limits. I think it'd help with how they do line of sight.
I am tempted to buy this one... even if the game isn't to my liking, I could use the minis to play the old Aliens (1989) board game from Leading Edge. heh Love that game.
I’ve been trying to convince my buddy to buy this or Nemesis. Both sound great. He’s big into the movie also. Watched it a ton as a kid. I’d be like Grant spouting lines: “they mostly come out at night…mostly.” Lol
This game is to Nemesis as Risk is to Advanced Squad Leader. Nemesis is a FAR superior game but requires an exponential level of investment to understand the rules and play the game.

Great stuff!
Ripley: They cut the power. Hudson: What do you mean "THEY cut the power"? How could they cut the power, man? They're animals!
RIP Bill. Such a great character with some fantastic lines
Great video! Sounds like a fun experience.
Thanks for this review. I bought the whole set, so now I'm looking forward to getting into the action. Nice one guys.

It’s game over man! It’s game over! WTF are we gonna do?
😉

@@MoragTong_ which one is more fun?
Darn. I think I need this.
Ugh, same.
I have this and had my son paint it for me but I need to get it to the table.
You can tell the relative age of a PA video (in terms of when it was shot) when Alexander's games aren't stored on their long side yet lol
This one is like 6 months old. But other are only 1. It kinda varies.
got it with all the expansions. A bit too light for me on the gameplay unfortunately. Missed opportunity as it does create some tense moments
Agree. Sold mine on. Just too light.
