It's nice to see some reviews that don't automatically take a dump on Kia/Hyundai products. So many people out there still hold their past against them as automakers. They don't realize how much better their current vehicles are compared to a decade ago.

I have a 2015 Kia Soul SX with the 2.0L and I love it, just wish I could stuff the turbo engine into mine and then I’d be sold (and maybe take the new headlights, haha).

i wanted a Jeep Wrangler but that was too expensive... So i watched out for Honda Element but I couldn't find anymore! Plus it was a bit pricey too. So I went for Kia Soul + instead. I dont regret this at all!

Kia really needs to either make the turbo available on the base model to get a manual trans or offer a manual on the upper trim model with the turbo engine.
No fair, that’s the Canadian turbo version! We don’t get heated seats at all I don’t think.
Great little car, I just wished Kia or the aftermarket would make a rear sway bar for it. Would help that body roll tremendously.

Great review. But if I were to choose a small vehicle from Hyundai/Kia, I would definitely go with the Elentra Sport. 1.6T Soul is good for a person who's looking for a faster Soul.

I just bought a 2018 KIA Soul turbo. Mine doesn't have ECO mode at all. Seems to drive like it is on (I use to have a 2012 KIA Soul). Some of my user settings are grayed out. Now I am wondering why.

Since you love the Soul so much, you should try the Kia Soul EV. While I am asking, how come you guys don't test EV's. for instance Soul EV, New Leaf, Chevy Bolt, Renault Zoe, BMWi3, Hyundai Ioniq and upcoming KOna EV. And I guess Tesla also..???
