Thank you for the outpouring of support and kind words, they really do mean a lot to me. I'm so happy to hear from you all, and I do recognize most, if not all of you. I've read all your comments. Even though work and personal life was a factor, the fact remains that the SA system and its effects on account progression, the negative banner changes, the fact that many SA units are NOT useful unless awakened, off-banner pulls and sidegrading being punished/impossible, FOMO for getting the newest unit within it's featured banner, the forever $tarchart debt (basically the greedy gacha system changes as a whole among other issues) PLUS the Astral Archive pay to win model that has made this game unenjoyable for me. I still love the game and wish things were different, but like many of you said, all good things must come to an end. It's too bad that it's mainly due to the game system and enjoyment factor going downhill though. I might still play the main story since I do enjoy the story overall. I hope to meet you again, whether WFS changes its direction on this game, or perhaps on a new one!

I just came back to this game after a 2-year break and this was the first channel I sought out. I'm sorry that they pushed you out with their choices. I still haven't caught up on any of the new systems so I don't know how long I'm sticking around but thank you for everything you did for this community.
Thank you so much for all your contributions to the community these past 5 years, I'm really really sad to see you go but I understand that the way WFS has been handling the Stellar Awakening system has made it more difficult for f2p players to keep up with the game. For your sake as well as for the sake of all the others who left for the same reasons as you, I really hope that the devs will take notice of these reasons and implement changes to make things more fair again. I love this game so much for its story, characters, and world despite not being the best at superboss content, but I suppose quality story isn't enough to keep everyone around if the gacha system loses its uniqueness that it once had within the gacha industry. I'm trying to believe that this isn't a permanent goodbye but rather a break for your mental health + a test to wait and see if things within the game will change for the better. If/when WFS actually does address these issues and makes the much needed changes that the community has been calling for, will you consider coming back to the game?
Thanks for the kind words. If they made significant positive changes to the SA system, then yes I would consider coming back to AE. I really do love the game but the current path of the game and system are simply not acceptable for my play style. I am still halfheartedly doing my keys and may even start the main story. We shall see.
Hey Wil, I just want to say that I am very appreciative of these videos. I quit the game about 6 months ago but your videos have always been special to me and I found your guides/reviews very helpful. Another Eden was honestly such a special game for me, I remember sinking hundreds of hours into the game about a month after its release. To me, the original story(I think part ) is the best I have ever seen in any gacha game. Completing the original story was such a memorable experience for me, and the stories that followed were not bad as well. however, I feel like the story over the past 1 or 2 years is not a strong as it used to be, I feel like nothing will come close to what it once was. It really is unfortunate that AE has taken a turn for the worse, and the power creep in this game is actually insane. You were by far my favourite AE content creator and I would just like to say thanks. If you ever find another game with similar mechanics, I highly recommend you return to TH-cam, your calming and genuine videos are very fun to watch. I was originally going to spend this money on buying the 1000 chrono stone pack on AE about a year ago, but I think I would rather support you than give in to the greedy devs at WFS. It really is a shame that the game has strayed so far from it's initial state.

So sad you’re leaving, I so enjoyed sharing this journey with you. The one thing you did that made your videos stand out was that you talked and explained WHY you were using certain characters or spells, which enabled me to learn or to make substitutions of other characters who could fill the same roles. For me the biggest problem hasn’t been the SA system so much (though the problems you foresaw are becoming apparent), but rather that the super bosses have gotten so difficult they are no longer fun and I can’t beat them without help despite having a terrific roster. That and the new characters being so complex I don’t understand how to use them. We’ll miss you.

Like you mentioned, there are many problems that have arisen including the difficulty/complexity of the superboss fights. They even negate the abilities of your team (nullify barrier pierce, 100% type/phys up to name a few) making them not fun anymore.
God, it hurts to see you go! Your guides saved me so many times in the past. I'm willing to stay with AnaDen due to the story rather than the gacha or gameplay, but I'll admit the gacha has made it demoralizing if they don't plan on making it more player friendly. I still remember the old days when i was a new player and wil mak strategy videos got me started on the basics of the game. It was quite an enjoyable journey which will probably stay with me in my memory forever. Part of the reason i wanted to quit was to preserve this feeling rather than have all the negativity pile up and overwhelm all my positive memories ice created with the community over the years

I did not expect to wake up today and see such a heartbreaking video from you. I understand your decision and how you feel though. The game got away from its original super f2p ways. I've followed your channel for I don't know how long at this point, having played this game on and off, off currently, and I've always appreciated your input about things, should you summons for both paid and free players, guides for superbosses. I believe I even superchatted money to you during a livestream...I've never done that before. Thank you for all that you've done for the game, I agree with your current thoughts on the game 100% and I understand and emphasize with your reasons why you would stop uploading AE content. The whole apathy thing, I remember the first time I felt that though it was before the SA system. It was the final boss of the AS Cerrine boss series. I wanted to see the rest of her story really badly but that boss fight annoyed me so much it made me pull for Yakumo. It was rough, I think I spent 15k stones or near that and I got him, and easily destroyed that boss and felt nothing. I did get to see the rest of what happened and enjoyed it thankfully, but as for bossing from then I was really checked out as far as it comes to this game and I was already not too much of a super bosser. The fights just got less and less fun. The SA system? Yep, stopped caring about keys once they started this system (unless it's for episode dungeons). I stopped caring about gameplay and having units for that matter when they introduced this system. I truly hope they amend the system to be better for players but seeing as the game appears to be gaining revenue (at least compared to before the SA system) so unfortunately don't see it happening. I still really do enjoy the story too, I look forward to finishing it or catching up with it eventually. It was really cool seeing that (or knowing rather) you played AE with your family and using it as a way to teach, bond, and have fun. It's truly a shame to see all of that fade away, hopefully there are other ways you guys somewhere can find that kind of magic. I'll stay subscribed for that tiny chance that you come back to post. Man, I go away on vacation and come back to discover my favorite youtuber is calling it a day (or 5 years). Wil, I don't know if you're still checking comments, but as I've indicated before, you are the inspiration I had to begin my own AE channel! I'm also a 2019+ player, and I don't recall when I discovered your channel, but I was watching your videos long before I ever created my own. I know mine is small compared to yours, but I am attempting to follow your mantra: I saw how you were attempting to make the game playable and fun for all, and that was my motivation when I began mine. Well, that and learning how youtube works from a creator viewpoint so I could keep tabs on my daughter's channel. :) I hear you regarding how some parts of the game now just absolutely require certain characters or else it's unbeatable or extremely unpleasant. My earliest videos used to showcase how to beat bosses with various teams, but recently I find myself using only the strongest characters. It's no longer a fun puzzle trying to find who can support whom; it's now hoping you get a powerful character and building around them. I've tried to adapt by showing how to build around multiple meta characters, but you're right...many fights are simply not possible with most existing characters. And that's a sad thing. Not to mention the collection headaches. I've always said that games should be fun. If you're not having fun, do what's best for you. Enjoy playing at your own pace for a change and not stressing over video production or fighting WFS! I would have loved to collaborate with you on some casual chat videos; you are somewhat like an idol to me, but I'll do what I can to continue your spirit. Gonna miss you Will! You really helped out the community so much! I agree about the SA system. I sadly quit after the SA system started to get implemented in a bad way. It really started to bring down the game. I just couldn't keep up anymore, and to be honest the story quality went down a lot.
Wil, even though this channel was for Another Eden, everyone still came for -your- content and how you presented it, they were here for you. You built this community, I'm sure if you ever do more guides and gameplay for another game, some will continue to follow you there as well~ Whether you ever come back to AE or make other game guides or never, thanks for the guides you did make, they made a difference~

Thank you, Wil, for everything you've done to bring people into AE over the years. One of the biggest problems and blessings I feel AE has as someone who plays a lot of gachas and runs a few communities is understanding some of the unit mechanics (especially in recent years). You've always helped fill that gap with your videos, and it is very sad to see you go. Pretty much everyone else that makes videos assumes everyone plays it as much as they do and is familiar with all the crazy synergies they've added to the game. I could count on your videos to help me understand those mechanics or solve a quest puzzle in a pinch. AE is like that secret little world that is always out there for those who enjoy its storytelling; there is just something incredibly special about it. I play maybe 2-3 months a year to catch up on the game with some friends. Often, it brings back some very wholesome and good memories of childhood. I just returned to the game, and your channel was the first I looked up to catch up on videos. Wish you the best whether your journey brings you back to a place beyond time and space or not.

Thank you for your contribution, Wil! I have been a long time player and in my early days of watching your channel, your videos motivated me to farm units like Aldo to 255 light. Sad to see the day come, but I understand because I haven't felt excited for Another Eden for a long time too. The newer character designs don't appeal to me and in terms of the stories, I feel that they are starting to lose their charm. I really want to love it and have it improve instead of the game moving towards EOS like Dragalia Lost did. Thank you for all the wonderful videos and contribution to the community. After the anniversary I decided to quit for many of the same reason you have. The passion is just gone. Playing the game isn’t rewarding anymore. I spent money to support the game I loved but the new systems felt like they were spitting in my face. I’ve detailed this in previous comments but I just got further and further behind while the difficulty spikes became more and more insurmountable. If it isn’t rewarding and costs an arm and leg why support it? I could have bought many full games with that but I chose to spent it on AE because it was the best gacha game around. That feeling is gone. I gave the new system a chance even when I didn’t agree with it and it just made me more and more disappointed. It sucks to see something I loved go down this path. Such as life I guess. There was nothing else left to do but quit and at least keep some of the good memories of it. Good luck with wherever life takes you Will. Thank you, Wil, for this channel. I stopped playing Another Eden before the new system arrived and, to be honest, once my luck in the gacha evaporated and treatises and chant scripts became scant, I retreated. There was just no sense of progress in terms of side-grading characters and winning the big boss battles, so I Iost interest. I thought the original system had a reasonable, viable f2p path, but I (personally) stopped thriving in that system but was content in the knowledge that it continued to work for other f2p players. I am sad to hear that this has changed. I saw a glimpse of the new system, but I had stopped logging on enough to even figure it out, but if your video is anything to go by, I will continue seeking out other games. With that said, I truly loved this game when I started out. It was the first mobile game I ever played; It was so charming and fun, with well-developed characters and a good story, and you were my go-to channel for strategy and advice...or just watching your amazing gacha pulls. It was a ride, and I will continue to have fun memories of Aldo ("Al-pal") and the gang and watching GamerDad videos to get me through. It was a time. 😊 I wish you all the best, and who knows? A shame, I only recently discovered your channel. I mostly play AE for the story and for something to do while watching TH-cam videos or listening to podcasts. I try to go through as much non-narrative content as I can without hitting a brick wall; I may have more options later. For a long time I only did daily login and ads. Then I lost my job and the catch-up campaign started soon after. That got me inspired to get back into the game. I practically marathoned my way through the main story from the middle of part one, with a few diversions to side-stories, until the end of part 2. One reason I was able to go so far in such a short time (despite helping to renovate my brother's house for six days a week during most of the catch-up campaign) was because of the AE Wiki which relies on players such as you to record facts about the game. I thank you for your contributions to the AE information space.
I get it and I don't blame you , the stellar awaken system makes me not even want to go for the paid banners (thankfully, they are making units more useful even in the "regular" star version now... I think they learned a lesson) banners like star dream used to be great.. now? the units I get from it are lacking. If you do decide to come back..... one interesting way to do it could be a new account with a new mindset....saving more, summoning on very few units, not feeling like you must clear everything.... I had quit the game but after giving it some time this is what made me come back.... probably wouldn't work as much as a youtube thing.... but it could work for personal enjoyment. either way, thanks for the journey.

Unfortunately, until a resolution for SA comes around, it's a big demotivator; far too restrictive and being more and more p2w. Both with Starcharts and light/shadow points (your first stellar points are at 15, a 4.5 unit that you've maxed can't even make use of it), it's a big frustration for sure. As AE is the game that has helped me get through a lot of tough days, I'll keep playing it, frustrating as recent decisions have been. Big thanks again, your work will always be appreciated.

I feel sad 😢... I started AE 1,5 years after Global Release, I had a lot to catch-up but I discovered your channel soon enough and helped me to get those Manifest Weapons, decide on pulling for new units and see how grindy can AE be to get those Chant Scripts and Teatrises. I understand the game is becoming quite predative: if you don't get new SA units within their banner, you are soon left behind, powercreep without a pity system is causing many Global players to quit the game. I'll stay to see new Story and skip all superbosses, they're absurdly difficult, but if the powercreep escalates, probably in several months I'll be quitting too. I hope you continue playing even if you don't make videos, just for the story and the fun, thank you for everything, Wil!!! 😊
I don't comment often but I've quit this game 3 times now and every time gamer dad helped me understand what I was behind on. I remember how I thought some of the voice over in your videos felt cheesy but honestly I think back on it now that I just had my first kid and I have to say its inspiring how you were able to build such a fun relationship with your kids using this gatcha game. You will be missed by this community and honestly I wouldn't be surprised if this game was on its way out because having recently come back it does really feel like they are wringing the player base out even though they stuck with the game.

I thought that the backlash against Steallar Awakeings was over the top, until you emphasized that more serious players were much more dependant on achievable content in a timely manner. I see your points and want to thank you for an amazing few years on this channel. Thank you for the outpouring of support and kind words, they really do mean a lot to me. I'm so happy to hear from you all, and I do recognize most, if not all of you. I've read all your comments. Even though work and personal life was a factor, the fact remains that the SA system and its effects on account progression, the negative banner changes, the fact that many SA units are NOT useful unless awakened, off-banner pulls and sidegrading being punished/impossible, FOMO for getting the newest unit within it's featured banner, the forever $tarchart debt (basically the greedy gacha system changes as a whole among other issues) PLUS the Astral Archive pay to win model that has made this game unenjoyable for me.
I still love the game and wish things were different, but like many of you said, all good things must come to an end. It's too bad that it's mainly due to the game system and enjoyment factor going downhill though. I might still play the main story since I do enjoy the story overall. I hope to meet you again, whether WFS changes its direction on this game, or perhaps on a new one!

End of an era
I just came back to this game after a 2-year break and this was the first channel I sought out. I'm sorry that they pushed you out with their choices. I still haven't caught up on any of the new systems so I don't know how long I'm sticking around but thank you for everything you did for this community.
Thank you so much for all your contributions to the community these past 5 years, I'm really really sad to see you go but I understand that the way WFS has been handling the Stellar Awakening system has made it more difficult for f2p players to keep up with the game. For your sake as well as for the sake of all the others who left for the same reasons as you, I really hope that the devs will take notice of these reasons and implement changes to make things more fair again. I love this game so much for its story, characters, and world despite not being the best at superboss content, but I suppose quality story isn't enough to keep everyone around if the gacha system loses its uniqueness that it once had within the gacha industry.
I'm trying to believe that this isn't a permanent goodbye but rather a break for your mental health + a test to wait and see if things within the game will change for the better. If/when WFS actually does address these issues and makes the much needed changes that the community has been calling for, will you consider coming back to the game?
Thanks for the kind words. If they made significant positive changes to the SA system, then yes I would consider coming back to AE. I really do love the game but the current path of the game and system are simply not acceptable for my play style. I am still halfheartedly doing my keys and may even start the main story. We shall see.

Hey Wil, I just want to say that I am very appreciative of these videos. I quit the game about 6 months ago but your videos have always been special to me and I found your guides/reviews very helpful. Another Eden was honestly such a special game for me, I remember sinking hundreds of hours into the game about a month after its release. To me, the original story(I think part ) is the best I have ever seen in any gacha game. Completing the original story was such a memorable experience for me, and the stories that followed were not bad as well. however, I feel like the story over the past 1 or 2 years is not a strong as it used to be, I feel like nothing will come close to what it once was. It really is unfortunate that AE has taken a turn for the worse, and the power creep in this game is actually insane. You were by far my favourite AE content creator and I would just like to say thanks. If you ever find another game with similar mechanics, I highly recommend you return to TH-cam, your calming and genuine videos are very fun to watch. I was originally going to spend this money on buying the 1000 chrono stone pack on AE about a year ago, but I think I would rather support you than give in to the greedy devs at WFS. It really is a shame that the game has strayed so far from it's initial state.

I feel that if you still enjoy the main story you can play it, however, the gacha component will always haunt you. So sad you’re leaving, I so enjoyed sharing this journey with you. The one thing you did that made your videos stand out was that you talked and explained WHY you were using certain characters or spells, which enabled me to learn or to make substitutions of other characters who could fill the same roles. For me the biggest problem hasn’t been the SA system so much (though the problems you foresaw are becoming apparent), but rather that the super bosses have gotten so difficult they are no longer fun and I can’t beat them without help despite having a terrific roster. That and the new characters being so complex I don’t understand how to use them. We’ll miss you.

Like you mentioned, there are many problems that have arisen including the difficulty/complexity of the superboss fights. They even negate the abilities of your team (nullify barrier pierce, 100% type/phys up to name a few) making them not fun anymore.

I'm willing to stay with AnaDen due to the story rather than the gacha or gameplay, but I'll admit the gacha has made it demoralizing if they don't plan on making it more player friendly.

Aww, it's been quite a while I've been on and off with the game. I think that the sidegrade system is AE is really good compared to any gacha games I've played. But as you said, I think since the Stellar Awakening update things feels so different. I also think the same about the state of AE.

I've followed your channel for I don't know how long at this point, having played this game on and off, off currently, and I've always appreciated your input about things, should you summons for both paid and free players, guides for superbosses. I believe I even superchatted money to you during a livestream...I've never done that before. Thank you for all that you've done for the game, I agree with your current thoughts on the game 100% and I understand and emphasize with your reasons why you would stop uploading AE content.
The whole apathy thing, I remember the first time I felt that though it was before the SA system. It was the final boss of the AS Cerrine boss series. I wanted to see the rest of her story really badly but that boss fight annoyed me so much it made me pull for Yakumo. It was rough, I think I spent 15k stones or near that and I got him, and easily destroyed that boss and felt nothing. I did get to see the rest of what happened and enjoyed it thankfully, but as for bossing from then I was really checked out as far as it comes to this game and I was already not too much of a super bosser. The fights just got less and less fun.
The SA system? Yep, stopped caring about keys once they started this system (unless it's for episode dungeons). I stopped caring about gameplay and having units for that matter when they introduced this system. I truly hope they amend the system to be better for players but seeing as the game appears to be gaining revenue (at least compared to before the SA system) so unfortunately don't see it happening. I still really do enjoy the story too, I look forward to finishing it or catching up with it eventually.
It was really cool seeing that (or knowing rather) you played AE with your family and using it as a way to teach, bond, and have fun. It's truly a shame to see all of that fade away, hopefully there are other ways you guys somewhere can find that kind of magic. I'll stay subscribed for that tiny chance that you come back to post. Man, I go away on vacation and come back to discover my favorite youtuber is calling it a day (or 5 years). Wil, I don't know if you're still checking comments, but as I've indicated before, you are the inspiration I had to begin my own AE channel! I'm also a 2019+ player, and I don't recall when I discovered your channel, but I was watching your videos long before I ever created my own. I know mine is small compared to yours, but I am attempting to follow your mantra: I saw how you were attempting to make the game playable and fun for all, and that was my motivation when I began mine. Well, that and learning how youtube works from a creator viewpoint so I could keep tabs on my daughter's channel. :)
I hear you regarding how some parts of the game now just absolutely require certain characters or else it's unbeatable or extremely unpleasant. My earliest videos used to showcase how to beat bosses with various teams, but recently I find myself using only the strongest characters. It's no longer a fun puzzle trying to find who can support whom; it's now hoping you get a powerful character and building around them. I've tried to adapt by showing how to build around multiple meta characters, but you're right...many fights are simply not possible with most existing characters. And that's a sad thing. Not to mention the collection headaches.
I've always said that games should be fun. If you're not having fun, do what's best for you. Enjoy playing at your own pace for a change and not stressing over video production or fighting WFS! I would have loved to collaborate with you on some casual chat videos; you are somewhat like an idol to me, but I'll do what I can to continue your spirit. Gonna miss you Will! You really helped out the community so much! I agree about the SA system. I sadly quit after the SA system started to get implemented in a bad way. It really started to bring down the game. I just couldn't keep up anymore, and to be honest the story quality went down a lot.
Wil, even though this channel was for Another Eden, everyone still came for -your- content and how you presented it, they were here for you. You built this community, I'm sure if you ever do more guides and gameplay for another game, some will continue to follow you there as well~

Thank you, Wil, for everything you've done to bring people into AE over the years. One of the biggest problems and blessings I feel AE has as someone who plays a lot of gachas and runs a few communities is understanding some of the unit mechanics (especially in recent years). You've always helped fill that gap with your videos, and it is very sad to see you go. Pretty much everyone else that makes videos assumes everyone plays it as much as they do and is familiar with all the crazy synergies they've added to the game. I could count on your videos to help me understand those mechanics or solve a quest puzzle in a pinch.
AE is like that secret little world that is always out there for those who enjoy its storytelling; there is just something incredibly special about it. I play maybe 2-3 months a year to catch up on the game with some friends. Often, it brings back some very wholesome and good memories of childhood. I just returned to the game, and your channel was the first I looked up to catch up on videos. Wish you the best whether your journey brings you back to a place beyond time and space or not.

Sad to see the day come, but I understand because I haven't felt excited for Another Eden for a long time too. The newer character designs don't appeal to me and in terms of the stories, I feel that they are starting to lose their charm. I really want to love it and have it improve instead of the game moving towards EOS like Dragalia Lost did.

After the anniversary I decided to quit for many of the same reason you have. The passion is just gone. Playing the game isn’t rewarding anymore. I spent money to support the game I loved but the new systems felt like they were spitting in my face.
I’ve detailed this in previous comments but I just got further and further behind while the difficulty spikes became more and more insurmountable.
If it isn’t rewarding and costs an arm and leg why support it? I could have bought many full games with that but I chose to spent it on AE because it was the best gacha game around.
That feeling is gone. I gave the new system a chance even when I didn’t agree with it and it just made me more and more disappointed.
It sucks to see something I loved go down this path. Such as life I guess. There was nothing else left to do but quit and at least keep some of the good memories of it.

Thank you, Wil, for this channel. I stopped playing Another Eden before the new system arrived and, to be honest, once my luck in the gacha evaporated and treatises and chant scripts became scant, I retreated. There was just no sense of progress in terms of side-grading characters and winning the big boss battles, so I Iost interest.
I thought the original system had a reasonable, viable f2p path, but I (personally) stopped thriving in that system but was content in the knowledge that it continued to work for other f2p players.
I am sad to hear that this has changed.
I saw a glimpse of the new system, but I had stopped logging on enough to even figure it out, but if your video is anything to go by, I will continue seeking out other games.
With that said, I truly loved this game when I started out. It was the first mobile game I ever played; It was so charming and fun, with well-developed characters and a good story, and you were my go-to channel for strategy and advice...or just watching your amazing gacha pulls.
It was a ride, and I will continue to have fun memories of Aldo ("Al-pal") and the gang and watching GamerDad videos to get me through. It was a time. 😊 I wish you all the best, and who knows? Not to brag, but I'm a fish who buys monthly passes and sometimes hard currency for pulling to support the team, and I do agree that the current game is brutal to all F2Ps who wants to make progress on their account. I just hope that the AE devs would listen to the cries of the community.

A shame, I only recently discovered your channel. I mostly play AE for the story and for something to do while watching TH-cam videos or listening to podcasts. I try to go through as much non-narrative content as I can without hitting a brick wall; I may have more options later. For a long time I only did daily login and ads. Then I lost my job and the catch-up campaign started soon after. That got me inspired to get back into the game. I practically marathoned my way through the main story from the middle of part one, with a few diversions to side-stories, until the end of part 2. One reason I was able to go so far in such a short time (despite helping to renovate my brother's house for six days a week during most of the catch-up campaign) was because of the AE Wiki which relies on players such as you to record facts about the game. I thank you for your contributions to the AE information space.
I get it and I don't blame you , the stellar awaken system makes me not even want to go for the paid banners (thankfully, they are making units more useful even in the "regular" star version now... I think they learned a lesson)
banners like star dream used to be great.. now? the units I get from it are lacking. If you do decide to come back..... one interesting way to do it could be a new account with a new mindset....saving more, summoning on very few units, not feeling like you must clear everything.... I had quit the game but after giving it some time this is what made me come back.... probably wouldn't work as much as a youtube thing.... but it could work for personal enjoyment.

Unfortunately, until a resolution for SA comes around, it's a big demotivator; far too restrictive and being more and more p2w. Both with Starcharts and light/shadow points (your first stellar points are at 15, a 4.5 unit that you've maxed can't even make use of it), it's a big frustration for sure.
As AE is the game that has helped me get through a lot of tough days, I'll keep playing it, frustrating as recent decisions have been.

I feel sad 😢... I started AE 1,5 years after Global Release, I had a lot to catch-up but I discovered your channel soon enough and helped me to get those Manifest Weapons, decide on pulling for new units and see how grindy can AE be to get those Chant Scripts and Teatrises. I understand the game is becoming quite predative: if you don't get new SA units within their banner, you are soon left behind, powercreep without a pity system is causing many Global players to quit the game. I'll stay to see new Story and skip all superbosses, they're absurdly difficult, but if the powercreep escalates, probably in several months I'll be quitting too. I hope you continue playing even if you don't make videos, just for the story and the fun, thank you for everything, Wil!!! 😊
I don't comment often but I've quit this game 3 times now and every time gamer dad helped me understand what I was behind on. I remember how I thought some of the voice over in your videos felt cheesy but honestly I think back on it now that I just had my first kid and I have to say its inspiring how you were able to build such a fun relationship with your kids using this gatcha game. You will be missed by this community and honestly I wouldn't be surprised if this game was on its way out because having recently come back it does really feel like they are wringing the player base out even though they stuck with the game.

Comparing your perspective with my "casual" one (I have just ignored most Astral Archives and the last group of bounties), I can finally see how big the impact of the past few updates really was. I thought that the backlash against Steallar Awakeings was over the top, until you emphasized that more serious players were much more dependant on achievable content in a timely manner.
I see your points and want to thank you for an amazing few years on this channel.
