So, I don't usually post on these type of videos but I want to give a quick reminder. DO NOT UNLOCK THE FIRST 6 NODES IN A CIRCLE AROUND THE PORTRAIT RIGHT AWAY. What you REALLY want to do is to click on each node carefully and look at the effect of each one and its corresponding cost. Only 1 point needed for each first 2 nodes in a given path. I'm actually surprised Wil Mak himself missed it, not once but twice ever since his Aldo video. Why does it matter ? At 15 light/shadow you should usually UNLOCK the 4 abilty (DIAGONAL) paths until the ability upgrades while ignoring the mere level up paths (HORIZONTAL). Basically : AT 15 LIGHT/SHADOW, ACTIVATE AND UPGRADE YOUR PASSIVE AND NEW SKILLS RIGHT AWAY AND LEAVE THE LEVEL UP AND EXTRA STATS FOR HIGHER AMOUNT OF LIGHT/SHADOW. 15 light/shadow gives 20 points which is JUST ENOUGH for each abilty activation and upgrade while leaving the rest untouched. Nobody cares for level 90 if the abilties are incomplete (unless you are upgrading Cerius but I don't want to talk about him, just look up Bamiji's post on Cerius on Another Eden reddit). Thanks again, Wil Mak for your videos. I hope this message is not misunderstood as an attack against you, it's just a tip I thought players really needed, and I love your work.
Thank you for your correction! I guess I never had a unit with only 16 light/shadow to awaken so didn't notice that you should just go with the diagonals. I agree, prioritize the 4 abilities and improving them first.
Congrats, I upgraded my Suzette as well! Plus I had saved up some chants and binged on a few other characters, including Velette, so I have a lot of new characters (and Gunce!) to play with over the upcoming break. Happy hunting!
Damn, I forgot they were adding retro star charts into the shop. I used my all cosmos charts this time around but its ok. I just need to remember for next time. Saving all my chronos stones though for my girl Thilly ES with Moke sidekick
Good news, in my main acoount I didn't have to use an Allcosmos star chart to upgrade Suzette. And the only time I got a five star of her was through a side grade of her NS. So sidegrading, so far counts as an extra character specific chart. Also I had enough to exchange for two of her charts with 340 left over. I can now save for Dunarith or a unit that will be really useful with that new class
I've been playing this game for so long so I did have a full board right away. But I also have been slowing down to the point where I still struggled with Tsukiha's true manifest fight. I saw Wil's party of a lot of characters I don't have and Another Eden is leaving me behind 😂
Dayum, i only have 900 gems. just used my gems to buy erinys and flare knight treatise... I thought you need to fight the retro unit just like Aldo to SA them...😢. I guess I'll focus on Suzette first bcz her buff seem better than Tsukiha. Also i hope the next to be SAed will be Isuka and Toova.
Slight addendum, but if your unit only has 16 light, it gets 20 points, which is just enough to get the 4 upgraded abilities, but NOT the level cap up nodes as well...
I would wait for her. But since I have zero gacha characters that would need awakening. I used one allcosmos starchart on her. I have her at 50 light I used some of my light/shadow thingies. I don't like her other skills that would justify me getting her to 80. All I get is extra mp and fourth skill slot.
Tsukiha has four good moves which can be better with 80 shadow. One skill sets pain, other one has useful debuffs with self damage that goes well with stellar burst. Stella burst itself is pretty good while her two manifested skills are even nicer
Wil, if i pull on a 4* form (Oboro for instance) and do NOT get a star chart for him, If i upgrade him using 5 chants and his tome to 5*, what happens? I'm guessing no starcharts, so you only have the 2x of the personal starcharts available in the neopow emporium, and then we would have to use an allcosmos to round out? so it MIGHT be possible to do it only pulling for the 4.5* versions, but would be at severe disadvantage to pulling the 5* version and getting those extra light/shadow points?
You are correct, you don't get any star awakening gauge credit by upgrading, so if you pull a 4.5*, it'll take 3 starcharts to awaken a unit. Also remember that some banners have a pick up bonus where you get 3/3 awakening gauge filled.
Still going to wait and get more gems But what does that neopaw recently added to the emporium do? Wait do you actually CONSUME light/shadow on the stellar board?

Grind L/S and A. Starcharts every months for SA. Also True Manifest Tsukiha also done with Water Magic team feat. AS Flamme & AS Lele.
I have a stellar awakened Suzette as well! She is also the first character to have a full stellar board in my roster.
Now work on Aldo next!
And the grind to level 100 continues...Did both Suzette and Tsukiha oh man more grinding

How long does take? Can't you just spam scrolls? I haven't touched anything about stellar

Hey Wil i think you overlooked it but Tsukiha's new Dps move is Scalding Serenade now it does a tons more damage than Congitated deluge.

If you had NS Suzette as a 5* before the update she will automatically have 1/3 gauge filled.

Not sure, but you do need 80 L/S to fully awaken. Otherwise just unlock from the center slowly outwards to unlock/enhance the stellar moves.
