these are awesome, if I had a wish for these, it would be to have a smaller battery pack option for the original shells so they don't need trimmed. I'd be ok with losing some play time since they are so easy to charge anyway
Good day, apologies if this has been asked in the past. How many watts (i.e. USB C adapter) will the CleanJuice GG require for the 34V tube? and if modded to an LCD, will this reduce the input wattage requirement? Also, can a USB A port provide enough power? (i.e. USB A to USB C cable). Cheers.
Would it be possible to have a cut out logic to not let the battery drop below X voltage as to prevent killing batteries if we don't use them for long? I'm asking because there will be an LED on permanently. Side question - When can we see the Saturn ones come out?
Possibly. It's a lot less popular since CleanJuice come out. Almost everyone chooses CleanJucie. I might update CleanPower to support charging AAs with a flick switch so it covers that possiblity too
@@RetroSix Well I for one buy a lot of cleanpower boards from you :). Keeps the budget down on modded consoles while still being easy to play since most people have portable USB batteries these days anyways.
Well Done Sir! I would like to make this upgrade to my GG. I remember having the GamePak that screwed on the back, I think it only gave me an extra 28 Min lol
Love this kind of content! Find it fascinating to get a glimpse into your process. My poor old game gear is waiting its turn for some serious upgrades so this is doubly interesting.
That's excellent. Yes please to more. It's good to be able to see the thinking behind the features.
I like these sort of videos, great content as always.

1A should be fine, 2A for all scenarios
@@RetroSix Thanks for the quick response!

Batteries already have cut off under voltage protection. And the led won't be on in final version it will be touch button to press and test battery
Saturn out in few days
@@RetroSix Good stuff. Thanks a lot
Should HAVE
Sorted 👍
Are you planning to make upgrades to the cleanpower board as well?
