What an excellent video! I can't WAIT go to back to Japan. The UK-based aviation sector is an utter shambles at the moment so even if Japan opened up its borders fully I wouldn't dare go (just the idea of losing my luggage or having a flight cancelled at the last minute fills me with dread and insecurity). Video feedback: I watched this visually gorgeous video with the sound off as I wanted to pretend I was there, just fully immerse myself in the frame and so I found the music very distracting and unnecessary. I love strong atmosphere and mood so I really enjoy simple footage with no fancy editing, letting the sights and sounds do the impressive work 'raw'. I enjoy walking tours and letting the sensory stimulation remind me of what it felt like to be in a certain place. This is not a criticism, just an explanation of my taste and why I like, link and recommend certain videos on social media and not others. Ambient sounds recorded well are incredibly evocative and hugely underappreciated by viewers as a technical skill because it's so low key and looks easy to do. I know it isn't. Good luck growing your channel and thank you for this video. Gorgeous. :)
Thank you for your wonderful feedback! I currently moved temporarily out of Japan, but will start shooting when I get back and definitely also consider taking much more ambient videos. Thanks again! Hope you can get to Japan soon👍
@@japanmogugourmet8546 Oh I sooooo look forward to that! The sounds of the cicadas in summer bicycles whooshing past, the street sounds, the restaurant noises, the cars driving past, the rain...if you can master recording these with good equipment and working on post-production engineering (and editing your sound) you will be one of my favourite channels. I love your sensibility, your eye for detail and what you DO choose to film. Lighting and atmosphere at certain times of day and night as well as artificial lighting is just so evocative when filmed well, I love it. Great work! I look forward to your upcoming videos and seeing what you surprise me with. I like knowing that you're having fun experimenting, practicing and trying out new ideas and just that you are filming this miraculously wonderful world in the first place. Thanks for sharing it all with us online. :D
