That's some fine shooting! I did the math and your 12x18" target is about .54moa wide and .81 moa tall. That's mighty small at 2200. I have a heavy 30-06 myself, shooting 208 AMax, 215 Berger, and sometimes 225gr Hornady. The furthest I've gone is about 1800 yards. Takes about 22 mils or 74 moa to get there. I'm using a SWFA 12X42 on a Badger Ordnance 45 moa rail. Anyhoo, great shooting, and I've enjoyed several of your vids. Thanks for sharing!

i really do like the videos you make compared to other people on youtube who just seem to shoot at nonsense all the time....not that there is anything wrong with that...you should have fun with your firearm that you own and no one should tell how to have fun....but seeing you shoot these small targets at such long distances and hearing you talk about the process is just cool.

I agree with you its about having fun. And I am sure you would agree safety first. Thank you for the complement.

That is some seriously fine shooting my friend. I love the old War Horse 30-06. I've got one in the Remington 700 Long Range. It shoots under .315 MOA. I'm impressed with a factory Rifle shooting so well. And that's with factory ammo. I can't wait to get going on my own re-loads. I'm 65 now and I keep getting these young guy's talking about their 6.5 Creedmoors. But when I show them both from a ballistic and physical proof of just how much the old 270 Winchester and the 25-06 both beats it every time, they can't believe it. And here you are using that old War Horse at 2200 yrds. I'm impressed.

Love the 06, I use the same bullet in mine to hunt with, works awesome.

One thing that gets me about your vids is how you handicap yourself with the target size. Most folks (understandably) will use something like a 4'x4' target to experiment at extreme long range, your plate is ~40% of the area of a standard silhouette pistol target. Amazing.

The target size I use is not a handicap but an asset. When trying to hit center at distance the smaller targets make it easier to see how far the misses are from center. Plus the targets are light so they are easy to move as I shoot farther since I have to carry them out and back. Or maybe I just like getting whipped.

Good shooting. I seem to always have to fight the wind here in Nevada. But it's great to be able to go out and not have anyone around.

The wind really does come in to play at those distances especially. Great shot. I dont think I could even see that far with a scope.

Looks like a lot of fun. I’ve found it is actually a bit easier to walk them in with more wind because it seems to be more consistent. When it is that close to calm, it seems more difficult.

That is what happened when I went after the second target I did not get it till the wind picked up.

You ever work with the old McMillan sniper course in Arizona?
