A few tips from someone that works with professionals: serge the seam where the skirt and bodice come together. It saves a lot of time, and that’s what the serger is there for!

@turntechgodbeheaded very well, it's a pretty dress! except on the insistence of my mom that it isn't necessary, i didn't pre wash the fabrics so after washing it later, when it was done, the lining shrunk a tiny bit and the bodice is a little warped, but otherwise it's pretty nice

Question! How do you come up with the measurements for more specific shapes, like for a bodice, when you’re first starting something new? Do you just work off ur dress form or smth different? Curious cuz that’s always the problem I run into when starting to work on something (although I don’t have a dress form) also great job it looks so pretty! ❤️❤️

Hello, My name is Brian and I eventually want to start doing drag and I Noticed a video on youtube by pidgindoll on December 26,2022 where he made a strawberry doll and I wanted to make an outfit similar to the outfit he made for the doll and I want to make a bodysuit and a babydoll dress and for the bodysuit I was thinking of using spoonflower Summer Strawberry Seeds Fabric byileneavery and for the babydoll dress I was thinking of useing a white eyelet lace fabric but I need help finding a bodysuit pattern and a babydoll dress pattern similar to the one he made for the doll on TH-cam and for the bodysuit I want a full bodysuit with gloves attached to the bodysuit otherwise I can make separate gloves that don’t attach to the bodysuit if there is not pattern for a all-in-one bodysuit pattern so if some can help me find the right bodysuit pattern as well as the right babydoll pattern I would really appreciate it and if someone can help me find the right white eyelet lace fabric I would really appreciate it as well so if someone can help me you can contact me at my email address at brian216@me.com or on Facebook messenger and if there is no bodysuit or babydoll pattern that is similar to the picture of the outfit the TH-camr made for the doll I currently live in North Hollywood California and I would pay someone to make me a custom sewing pattern and instructions for a bodysuit and a babydoll dress pattern if someone wants to come to my house and measure me for making a custom sewing pattern for me so whatever works for you is fine by me Thanks 🙏
