Great video. Love my WSPRLite. I've done 4,800 km (Boston to Scotland) on 20m using my 1st generation Alpha Loop Jr... with the antenna INSIDE MY HOUSE! I'm learning so much about propagation and antennas using it! 73s N1CHE.

I really respect that lack of elitism in these videos. Back to learning and making a lot of a little. One of the reasons I really respect the early hams that built their own radios and would never buy a balun.

You make great radio videos Peter, I'm keen for one of these devices.

I haven't seen "sandwich style" enclosures before, seems like a good idea.

WSPRLite is a great little transmitter (whoops sorry). I am currently using one on 30m and running 200mW, but unfortunately, I haven't been heard in VKland yet. My antenna is a Chameleon F Magnetic Loop. 73 de Bob, M0BOB.

Just to say - it is a transmitter only; not a transceiver.

Another good app on Android for accurate time is called "ClockSync", shows phone time and atomic time from the internet

Hi Peter, does the wsprlite go down to 40 metres or do you need the lowpass filter to do that?

Yes you should use a LPF for 40m (or run it into a sharp antenna eg magnetic loop)
