Feel like I’m up there on that weird encounter list. My cousin took me to a race. I’m in college, I never saw nascar. I got like 30 piercings, walking around in my Birkenstocks, and he’s like we’re gonna meet shrub. And he’s like Kurt Busch’s brother Kyle. Never heard of them. Anywho, met the man. Shook his hand, got an autograph. He seemed so stressed but was synchronized a gentleman. After that day in Michigan I was hooked. Been a Kyle Busch fan since. And that’s why I invite people to go to the track with me now. NASCAR? You mean left? Boring. No way. That military display, the concert, the carnival in the parking lot, having a prayer, the fireworks, and the rumble of the stands everytime those cars come by. Damn you’re hooked. You’re so hooked. Cherry on top when you can get to the pits or get to meet a driver. You get to see a new fan glow all the way home.
I hated Big E back in the 80s when I was a Bill Elliott fan. I loved him in the 90s on. I hated with a burning passion KB until he left Toyota. Now he's my favorite driver.

no matter how people have viewed him over the years, the man can race lol. I wish he couldve raced more on dirt. He raced at Williams Grove in a Late Model at a Kasey Kahne foundation race. He finished 2nd and drove Rick Eckerts car. He went wheel to wheel with Jason Covert for like 15 laps. Hell of a show. This was around 2012.

Gotta get Phoenix figured out bro. Soooooooo important. Probably not THAT far off...saw you running with the 5th, 6th, 7th place cars once lapped...on even tires...but gotta get it...I hate this track...but nascar made it one of the most important on the circuit.

I don’t think most people realize how good Kyle Busch is. Watching him drive reminds me a lot of former late RCR driver. He is going to bring RCR some hardware home. I have always enjoyed his personality good and ugly. He is one this sport needs! Give em Hell tomorrow Rowdy!
If he had acted like this when he was 20, he could have been the most popular driver ever (well, maybe not more than Jr) and even more successful on the track. Same for his bro, except the popular part.

RCR geographical location compared to other teams are hurting the talent they can attract for the pit crew, Welcome is not that close to the other bases so when Kyle says that's what we have it means the pool of talent is smaller for them.
How as a driver, can you not try to get to know the crew that works on your car and takes care of it and you out on the track or in the shop! That’s like me as a firefighter not knowing the skills and abilities of the personnel on my fire apparatus on our way to an emergency!

Couldn't stand KB for years. Now I'm ok with him and seeing him bring home the goods for RCR. I mean, Tyler was doing ok too but I'm pretty sure they have not gone backwards at all with KB. Someone has to be the flagship team at RCR because the Golden Grandson certainly can't do it, at least not to the level that RCR had become accustomed with Dale Sr and Harv. Kyle can. He has been and will be bringing RCR back to Victory Lane.
I hope someone is telling Rowdy, how much better of a personality he is exhibiting, which in turn makes a better interview as well as a better racer.

In privileged kid equity spec bumpercar racing such as nascar where pitstops happen all that matters is not getting wrecked and pitstop times until the last few laps, that's what gets you so you can be in the top 6 or so in contention for that 5 lap race or stay out of the wreck causing a caution to the finish after the contrived 400+ mile s-show traffic jamb.
That's a driver that should have 4 of Johnsons championships.
