I'll take new recordings of old stuff that is hard to find. Overall, stellar. Wondering about Unborn and Termination = Liberation. My current favorite by the way. Not sure if that needs help, one of the most aggressive albums I have ever heard, but these new recordings are very good.

for me the sounds sucks ass like all there recordings. why is that? they have bad taste in producers or what???? sounds like mono crap all the time? dang it's like there is a pillow in from of the speakers always on all there albums. not in your face sound or in your ears. like killswitch engage or metallica or any other band for that matter. for some reason this band's production sound is never on point! if you dont get what I mean well what can I say? they need to put the volume on all instrument on 10 and the presence etc... it's the soundman that they get is an amature or something and they just accept crap mixed albums all the time, dont they listen to other bands recordings? get in 2022 or do they like cheap sound?

A random guy in instagram expressed a thought about this possibly being just a recording to end the contract with AFM.
Couple of weeks after the release there has been radio silence from the band in their social media. Not a single mention or a promotional attempt. Which eventually makes me wonder if they even mean to keep the band going.
I was thinking the same thing or maybe it could be because of the backlash over the Andy situation. Perhaps they rather stay quiet for the moment since a lot of kids are still butthurt over Andy

I'm usually pretty apathetic towards remakes but this turned out pretty great. I love the production on Inhumanity but this particular song featured some questionable mixing choices and Ville's vocals were oddly filtered; all of that is fixed here
A little bit of the original magic is lost in these re-recorded versions, but on the other hand the songs really benefit from the added clarity and tightness. Especially the Inhumanity songs.
I wish some of the songs had more synths to glue them together though - in particular Cleansing Rain feels like there's a huge gap where the synth "used to be".
I'm looking forward to other songs from "Inhumanity" and the demo.
And I'm extremely vary of what they did to "The Unborn" and "Liberation = Termination" songs..

I actually recently started to listen to them and they are really great🤘 love their different style,its darker and more serious,compared to Bodom's let's say...and this song was the first i've heard from them and i played it on a repeat god knows how many times xD because i loved it on first.. i didn't know anything about them but few days later i saw that this new album is Re-recording songs from old albums,and i was like Ok now i need to find this song in original version and i found it imediately ofc. And i was even more amazed with original hahaha 😁 and now when i know them both memorized i can really tell that those guys did a really great job! Because its not just like remaster that bands mostly do,just take old song and they do nothing but make it more louder,cleaner,sharper,and ad some stuff or just mix something and that is just nothing special... but Re-recording means that they Recorded everything completly new,yes it is that song but they didnt just took old samples and "remastered" them to sound better and more cool,they took they'r instruments,went to studio,recorded this new version from scratch,everything.. and you can hear all of that,first intro is different,for me and my opinion the original version is more scarry,more fits to that album cover,its dark...new version is also like scarry themed but it's made kinda beautiful..not soft nor anything like that,just more melodic and beautiful...and as i've listened to them both i figured out other details,like drums,original is awesome just the way it is. But on this new version,drums are mostly the same,yet i've noticed what is changed,actually i wouldn't say changed because everything is the same,but on original i can feel that moments when the riffs are changing and parts of the song,drums were remaining the same,like they didn't know what to do so it remained like that because allready the whole song was a killer...but in this new version you can clearly see that they did some improvements about that parts of the song,nothing special just added more faster beatings and stuff like that so it sounds really precise now.. i just want to pay my respect to them and be a support because this guys really deserve it! And i wish them to keep up with that great work 🤘 with this song in Original version,they showed the world what they're made of and that they can do a really badass Melodic Death Metal! With this new version,well that's what i wanned to tell. They showed that they are a damn Pro!! And as the most bands who did something like this it always turned out to be a dissaster... this guys nailed it!

2022 goal: try to listen to new bands. Another band has been added. Can't wait to hear more come april. Feels like children if bodom meets djent meets power metal mix with nightwish.
Their "The Unborn" and "Liberation = Termination" albums were unique.
They sounded like Modern MDM and yet, at the same time, those albums just refused to be it.
The fucking solos on those albums are just awesome.
With albums after those ones the band was completely revamped, Jori Haukio left, but they hired Andy Gillion, who somehow managed to feel through and pull off the band's musical style out of nowhere.
While they did lose their 'modern' aesthetic - they concentrated on the mdm itself and so, "...And Death Said Live"/"Dawn Of The 5th Era" were awesome.
After them - I think, Andy started to lose it a little bit, because he was essentially doing the music alone and that all came into the last album..
Their earlier albums are a lot less djenty than this, but the energy is unbelievable and you absolutely should check them out.
@@AUM_-po9sc man you really nailed it with your description of musical evolution of Mors, Andy's time really had an identity out of nowhere, but the formula was getting weaker. Even when their last album "Seven" was pretty good, it felt more Andy's than actually Mors. Let's see if Mors can bring back their essence from their roots and if they are able to make it with new music. Even though their latest releases are fking awesome, their are still old ideas. Let's see what can they bring when it's time to brand new music!

And the album had some MPE - sounding ideas here and there, so.. yeah, that's probably why.

They sound like a cleaned modern production version of the original line up with all the heart that made me fall in love with the mdm genre. Bless Andy and his time in the band but this is true to what MPE was before Andy.
Not gonna lie, seen this and almost sodden myself. This is my favourite song from this band. BUT other than the vocals what's happening here? I'm not a fan of it, the original had everything except solid vocals and all that was needed was ville to re-record those and throw it together but instead they've even changed one of the most hauntingly beautiful solo's I've ever heard with ...... This? Is this the "new" album that was teased also? Not impressed to be fair and this has been my favourite band for the last decade almost. I'll pass on this re-recorded album till you've something "new" and till then probably just buy everything Andy does 😂
It's much cleaner and crispier! They did adhere to the original composition and added some interesting moments in there. Only thing that messes with my ears is the solo guitar slick before the chorus.
