The mask only works against smoke bombs in freeplay mode. its useless in the level against hope probably because it wasn't ment to be used in that level

The mask won’t work when the level starts, but if you die and respawn he will have his mask on, and you’ll able to freely run around WITHIN the room. Once he gets outside though, it doesn’t work anymore. He’ll still be affected by poison once he starts chasing her.
They need to make more Templar based games and flush more of the actual story instead of making all these non assassin related games such as their newest flop Valhalla
Only outfit i used in that game the built in smoke bomb mask came in handy. I own the game on my PS3 and was only thing i saw uplay store worth buying sadly.

It doesn't effect the game's story or content at all, it's just a skin, nothing more This baffles me as to how this nearly has 100,000 views even though there's literally nothing different besides just wearing a different skin in a certain memory where the skin doesn't break it What a waste of time
Well, the cutscene right before the poison part does explain it. If you look carefully, Hope takes off Shay's mask. The problem is Shay's model in the gameplay. Ubisoft didn't seem to have made a gameplay model for Assassin Killer Shay without the mask, so despite Hope taking off Shay's mask in the cutscene, Shay still has it in the gameplay.
André ZanuttaA ok basically this outfit has a bonus to be immune to gas since it permanently wears a mask, however Ubisoft didn't think about the outfit until after they made this mission so basically they didn't even think about the poison gas in this mission. Also to show that when hope took mask, another reapeared on his face but still wasn't immune. That's Ubisoft for ya LOL

The Lonely Eagle I know I’m late so you probably know but I’m gonna explain, haytham is Edwards son so the assassins hoped he would join, so they game him hidden blades as a sort of peace offering but he still didn’t join.
This game costs like 5 bucks on g2a. Maximum 10. Register the key on uplay _ Problem solved. Got all games through that via bundles for a bargain. Just Ac4 was free in december. The legal versions have no problem with the uplay bonus costumes and upgrades of course.

Too bad this game wasn’t longer. Was a good story. Assassins seemed like the bad guys for once unknowingly killing millions of innocent people. Shay was the perfect hidden weapon for the Templar order.

Andreas Calusa One of the best, but Origins, IV, and II are still better. I found the world quite lifeless, story tho... it's nice to see the templar pov on things.
BIO- GRZMOT honestly it's nothing special. Not a bad game, but nothing you'll remember pass few months from playing it. Most things you learn is the Templars aren't as bad as they're usually portrayed
