for the molten metal around the bullet hole try placing a blob of putty into the hole and pressing it with the rear end of a brush. So the putty will be squeezed outwards
Thank you so much for the kind words and support :) I'll keep the videos coming! Maybe it's my thumbnails? The Tube is illusive but we soldier on. Cheers!
Excellent work. I find for bullet holes that you'll get different kinds based on the type of ammunition used. There's a scene in the Ghost in the Shell (1995) anime where a suspect is firing a modified uzi sub-machinegun at a truck with regular rounds, then changes clips to use 'high velocity' bullets. Regular bullets leave clean holes but higher yields will leave a crater-like impression & a penetrating hole. If you drill out a hole then shear around that hole at a wide angle, you can get that effect very nicely. Might do a dedicated vid on it
Did paint man have to point directly at me to remind me of my damage? At least now we know how to process this damage into a creative outlet and represent it on little plastic soldiers
Love how every piece of yours tells a story, those little details have big impact!
Thank you, Witty! 🙏
Epic! Those chips are such a clever idea; and the peeling edges on the shoulder armor are SO GOOD! 🤯
Thanks, buddy! I'm eager to do this again, stronger!

I'm feelin' battle damaged from this week. Great video, Sam!
Awrooo! Smash it up!
Dude is the Bob Ross of miniatures. How does he not have way more views is beyond me. This is the needle in the haystack I've been looking for!

Will do!
Nice effect, Sam! Thanks 😎
Thanks, Chuck!
It’s a great day to wake up and see a new video from our favorite metal head painter !!
Haha, Cheers, Dave!
Nice one!
Thank you, Roman! :)
I love all Sam Lenz artwork videos👏👍🤙
Cheers, Friend :)
Huzzah,, awesome ideas on changing up miniatures.
Looks amazing! Any plans to do a follow-up where we can see what it looks like painted?
Yup! That one is up now.
Where you put those chips of plasticard, I get a similar effect with Agrellan Earth technical paint.
Nice!

So many chips involved, who forgot the salsa!?

Oh yeah, pushing the artform further with new ideas. Is such a thing allowed!?
Well, not according to the views.

Haha, aren't we all full of holes. I'm working on it, first, ear plugs.
