It sounds very smooth. It's amazing that people can make machinery that runs on such voltages. One tiny design or installation mistake and that 6.6kv will make a very big and violent mess.
I once worked with a guy that dead headed a compressor of a similar size. It was old and in a dark corner of a plant room. The thing suddenly started making deafening discharge noises and big clouds of dust rose around it. I heard the noise from an adjoining room through a concrete block wall and went to investigate. I met my mate running in the opposite direction, convinced that the dust was smoke and that the sound meant that some kind of detonation was imminent. After switching it off, I later asked him where he was running to. His answer, through the factory door to his van. He was convinced he was going to get fired.

@@stanleyng758 99% of ppl dont understand what happens when feeding P=UxI with high voltage ! Imagine closing a straight contactor... The Locked Rotor current must be high enough to convince anyone for the need of a German starter... LOL 🙂
Samir, you did not succeed in Rally, but your job suits you now.
underrated comment
With this 6.6kv engine. He would have plowed a straight line from start to finish
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
@@jankington216 Yes I am Samir's copilot I know what I'm talking about boi
Guiseppe Falzarano you must be a blast at parties
This is a motor from the manufactorer Loher from Germany. I work for this company. I'm proud.
Tom K. Yes you are right. It is a very good motor and smooth.
Tom K. Deutschland über Alles.
Was bist denn du für ein Spacko. Vollidiot !!!

0:02 That guy has either been electrocuted to many times or he is communicating from within the compressed air tank.
😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Sounds like his voice is connected to his brain over aircraft radio
HAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHA
Too many cigarettes, lol
Sounds like my computers hard drive, loud at first but then really quiet
MOM ITS NOT WHAT IT LOOKS LIKE mine sounds like someone took bolts and put them in a blender
Slick and quiet! Nice!
thanks buddy.
Guys get ready! 13.8KV 8500kW motor starting coming up soon. Please share it.
das really good!!
Can you pls describe how the control works with braking any secrets?
Well kept motor with such a soothing start!
That was the smothest start up I’ve event heard!!! EXCELLENT VIDEO!!!!!
I need your bank details to start the motor sir.
Duuuuuude lolololol
Ouch.
The nice hard working man: that hurt my feelings sir.
That is so fucking racist my dude
@@joeslinky not racist if it's true.
That’s a cool looking cooling fan on the motor!
Really like that startup sound
Wow, that was really smooth!
Very cool video. Thanks for posting and have a nice day too.
Man, I don't think that's any louder than my crappy oilless harbor freight compressor and this is about 1,000 times bigger.
What is the power rating of the motor and softstarter.
Respect it becomes human. We wish you and your family happy holidays and a happy new year 2021.
Everything in that room looks brand spanking new and shiny
Are you sure this is not a footage for my ps4's fan?
Is that a reciprocating compressor?
this is the smoothes electric motor startup i ever seen
Unbeliveably smooth!
Love large motors when they power on
That is beautiful! So smooth and fast!
Are you able to make a clip of this compressor what it sounds like under load?
under load the starter electronic is usually by-passed straight through by relays, right??
probably sounds about the same, compressors of this size are usually scroll compressors
Could you please upload again... You make exactly the stuff, which makes me grinn like an Idiot
The videos works fine. You may contact me at info@veritascontrol.com.
No, it looks like you stopped Uploading. the Video Works fine
Will do. I'll upload more. Thanks Buddy.
"grinn like an idiot" 😂😂😂 same here, my curiousity drives me crazy
Wave pool machine ?
Singapore?
6600 volts is a mighty force to be reckoned with!
Volts... kids always with the volts.

Poor guy
Dead headed?
@@TheMatsushitaMan blocked the output line from the compressor, causing it to (probably) vent out through a safety valve :p
How maney hp
What does it do?
It drives a compressor.
this thing is more silent than my pc
Why is it slowly turning at the beginning?
It's a softstarter. It starts the motor slowly to reduce current surge and mechanical shock.
@@stanleyng758 he is refering to before it starts
The compresor motor for aircon or something?
No, this is a reciprocating natural gas compressor.
It should be a centrifugal compressor as it's really quiet
Well that was quick.
That sound is very expensive. But music to the ears.
smooooth
Star-Delta?
Soft Starter Starting
Hmmm the built in cooling fan
The bluetooth device is ready to pair!
The Bluetooh Device.... Is connected succesfully
Intenseee!!!!111
meneketehe
Sounds like a star-delta
Could be, but more likely it’s across the line. Screw type compressor has a low starting inertia. Doesn’t take a lot of torque st startup.
Want it
SAMIR YOURE BREAKING THE COMPRESSOR
you're*
Softest start ever....
In comparison to a regular motor start up in the 1000+ HP class: DUUUUNNNNNNNNNNNNGGGGGGGGGggggggggggggmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
And at the same time, all the lights around go out.

I wish to hear it without soft-stsrt....

Nice
Huh. that was fairly uneventful.
I want this for my pc🤣

Whaaw, that was surprisingly unawesome !
Soft start, but then it rips on the gears for 1s lol

Why do they need to foam count down it's not a fucking space ship just flip the switch to turn it on lol
