well here it is finally! the story/journey of me and rocky
i first got rocky back in october, i was so so so excited!! but then a few weeks went by and i stated regretting my choice to get him as i was struggling big time. He was so strong and fast and i was very scared of him, someone told me 'he's dangerous, you'll never learn a horse like that' and i stared believing all the lies around me that i wasn't good enough and id never master him. I spent months and months and months trying but i couldn't do it, i was afraid, i wanted to give up, i thought id bitten of more than i could chew, i just wanted ollie back. But then all of a sudden i did it, i found that bond and i found that determination to carry on and me and rocky clicked. After that moment we've never looked back (was about march time).
I wanted to be jumping 1.10's by the end of the year.
We are already jumping them on 5 months into the year, i've already done two 1.10 classes. We are jumping 1.15 members cups, i wanted to do that by next year, we are all ready doing it. I wanted to jump a 1.20 by the time i was 16, i jumped one last weekend and won it and I'm only 14. DREAMS DO COME TRUE. Don't let the lies other people tell you hold you back, everything is possible if you set your mind to it and believe it enough!

This reminds me of when I was a teenage equestrian. Had the same issues with an Arab mare. Once we conquered it we were winning fox hunter classes all over the place. Well done, looks fantastic, you've got a great seat and he is gorgeous.:-)
Who ever said he wasn't ready u count jump etc. Just because they were jelous of your horse ever horse has these issues in life and your horse hadnt had them,yet he learnt and now look xx and u are a great rider gtw xx

Had a fall from a horse i had trouble trusting from the beginning, but this definitly inspired me to get back on him and jump again💓🐴You r an amazing rider and such an inspiration!

This video is so inspiring and I really want to be like you. I am just starting a beautiful adventure with an amazing white horse. I know I don't have the level for him and what I do is to easy... He makes me fly but I don't make him fly. This needs loads more views, its amazing! You should be so proud of yourself and not just for your great edting skills in this video, but the story behind this whole video. It really is amazing! I think all I need to do is think how you did as I have a pony that is scared of our arena at the livery yard which makes me scared when i ride him up there because i think he'll bolt off with me or do something crazy! Your so lucky to have a horse that can jump 1.20 meters cause mine can only jump 4ft!!

Your description kinda describes me with the horse I'm riding, I've been riding him since late december and I get told I'm not good enough to take him to shows because he's a dick in the jumping ring, but no ones gave me a chance to try:/ I lost faith in us because I don't jump him very big because I lost confidence and his jump isn't smooth at all, its taken months but I finally got grip of it! your videos have gave me a bit more confidence to keep going, Thankyou! x

Wauw I love this video! it's AMAZING! i got the same problems with my horse that you had. we are improving! but this video shows that quitting isn't a possibility and that if you train harder you can prove the people around you that they are wrong! it's amazing how you did that! Subbed!!! xx

this is beautiful!its unbelievable how mean and hateful and rude people can be.it's hard,people are so mean and judgemental and try to get you down.they say things to just make you not believe and try and get you to quit.i don't undestand how people can do it!when i got my mare(she was 6)and she we got the crap about all of it.its hard to keep going through all of the negativity,to not give up, but when you stay strong and keep going,amazing things happen.i'm so glad u & i didn't give up. subbed
