India lost harbhajan and pathan in the 3rd test and this hurt them badly. The rain on the last day on the 2nd test when india had a chance of winning also didnt help. Australia came well prepared, and won some of the key moments.
I watched whole series in front of TV mechanic shop..... I remember when teams take lunch we went for lunch... When they take tea break we went for tea break...... So many memories in that period
For a bowler who could deliver the ball at the same point almost his entire spell, being able to swing ball whether old or new whether on the pitch or off it was a piece of cake. And besides, the bowler in question is MCGRATH of all people.
I was in 8th class, and during mid break we used to go on shop beside the school to see the score.. not much mobile and internet back then😅..those memories of excitement to check the score❤

Warne bowled exceptionally well in this series. People just ignore this fact about his record in India about how well he bowled in 2004. The 1998 and 2001 were played unfortunately when Warne was making comeback from injuries and operations. It's a shame that India didn't play test cricket against Australia when Warne was at his pick (1993-1997).
Australia tour of India 2004 1. Bangalore test - poor umpiring gives Australia big win 2. Chennai test - Rain favours to Australia 3.Nagpur test - Totally damage from the toss. Worst batting, average bowling from India. Australia destroyed us by biggest margin & Won the series on Indian soil 4. Mumbai test- India pull off dramatic win . Thanks to trio spinnners of Kumble, harbhajan & Murali Kartik (man of the match don't know y he didn't play on Bangalore & Chennai).
