I dont know why this popped up in my feed but I needed this. I forgot how dope this song was when it was released. This didn't seem right at the time because Mariah and Puff seemed like polar opposites in the music industry.

She is the first mainstream superstar to release hip-pop track as a regular single so when this was released the media went wild! This video premiered on MTV and BET almost at the same time!
People were shocked because in 1995 she's all covered up and now she's hanging with rappers etc! Also in 1997 her music was the regular people music too, heavy rotation on radio and on tv!
