I did my biology exam, came back home and threw away all my revision, past paper and recalls. So much work and time I put into these exams, just to be asked the most basic questions at the end.
That’s how I felt since it wasn’t hard, but don’t u need the materials for paper 2?
@@enaya921 Maybe they threw away only stuff related to paper 1🤷🏽♀🤷🏽♀
That’s how I felt. It’s so disheartening as I, too, revised ridiculously hard and have been working so hard throughout secondary just to be asked questions that majority can answer well! :(
I did my GCSEs last year and got the top grades in my school (grade 9s in all of the 12 subjects I took). Throughout the whole process I went through a lot of mental and physical stress. I used to have the mindset of 'my grades matter more than my health' so I didn't sleep well, didn't exercise enough and never took any breaks. It was the worst time of my life. Despite the achievement I regret 'dying' for my GCSEs. You don't realise in the moment, but all that stress has long term effects- the burnout and exhaustion afterwards is still something I'm struggling with a year later. Achieving high grades can be rewarding, but when its at the expense of your health its worthless.
I'm sorry, but if your struggling with burnout from any revision, especially GCSE I think a trip to the doctor would do you well.
@@raghavrastogi7424he said he used to have the mindset of ‘my grades matter more than my health’ which infers he was studying all day everyday which is not healthy
Like 1 hour of revision everyday will do
wtf.... why do people do this lol. 80-20 rule states 20 percent of the work gives 80% of the results, and by being smart you can make that 100%. No need to base your life around an education system which makes us slaves.
Guys I did my GCSEs last year and let me tell you this is THE advice. I was severely suicidal during my GCSEs and let me tell you yes, I got the best grades in my school, but no, it was definitely not worth it. Seriously. Take care of yourselves, because I regret that period in my life hugely. Do your best, but you come first ALWAYS.
Me rn except I won’t get the best grades in my school
@@lalayys I used to be suicidal too until I found Jesus bro, frl seek after him he loves u and wants a relationship with u. We are all sinners but he died so that we wouldn't have to go to hell and have a relationship wid him. If you Confess wid ur mouth and believe in ur heart that Jesus is Lord and u repent (change ur mind) about ur sin, God will forgive you and he will make u a new person, now I'm no longer suicidal
Bro's suffering from success
@@Hynixuk I’m not that religious tho I don’t think it’ll help tbh sorry

Remember to pray to Allah and put Him first and get close to Him. To Allah is the return guys start fearing him more than GCSEs.
Subhanallah thanks for the reminder😊
Whoever doing biology exam I wish you beyond passing grade!
You too! :D
Everything is all going to be ok at the end. If it’s not ok, it’s not the end ❤💪🏻

guys there's still a bit of time to revise, just keep it balanced like 1h30-2 hours of revision per day, just practice papers and exam questions, not content. I swear you'll do so well
@@labskan5334 I'm talking about A levels. It's 3 times harder than gcses.
The 2 English subjects are gonna screw me hard
