My favorite animal is the meerkat! However much time I spend trying to pain a meerkat it always comes out weird!, I would love to see a painting of a family of Meerkats !

Thank-you! Yes I do. I first started with Artist Loft & Liquitex, moved to Windsor & Newton before finally landing on Grumbacher. I find Grumbacher Academy Acrylics to be the best paints I’ve used. A nice consistency with rich colours, and a smooth final form. It works well with my style and how I paint. It also is non-toxic which is a nice feature as my studio doesn’t have any windows, just an air purifier. Peace of mind for sure. For transparency, I used Grumbacher way before I was sponsored by them, so this is not some product I am just pushing, it is a product I 100% stand behind and use on the daily. I hope this helps. 💛
Hi Barbara, I definitely think you can complete this painting in oils and have a wonderful time. Although I personally do not have a lot of experience with using them; from my knowledge you may just need to tackle some of these layers in stages and wait for them to dry before continuing to work in certain areas! But I definitely do not see any issues with this tutorial and the translation to oils. :) Please let me know how it goes, if you do decide to tackle it! I'm so glad you like it, and thank-you for your support!

love the tiger do you like the Grumbacher paint better than liquitex basics ?
Thank-you! Yes I do. I first started with Artist Loft & Liquitex, moved to Windsor & Newton before finally landing on Grumbacher. I find Grumbacher Academy Acrylics to be the best paints I’ve used. A nice consistency with rich colours, and a smooth final form. It works well with my style and how I paint. It also is non-toxic which is a nice feature as my studio doesn’t have any windows, just an air purifier. Peace of mind for sure. For transparency, I used Grumbacher way before I was sponsored by them, so this is not some product I am just pushing, it is a product I 100% stand behind and use on the daily. I hope this helps. 💛

Hi Barbara, I definitely think you can complete this painting in oils and have a wonderful time. Although I personally do not have a lot of experience with using them; from my knowledge you may just need to tackle some of these layers in stages and wait for them to dry before continuing to work in certain areas! But I definitely do not see any issues with this tutorial and the translation to oils. :) Please let me know how it goes, if you do decide to tackle it!
