TBM 850 - I complain to my son about G1000 database updates

On this flight into Seattle, my son and I talk about what makes a great product, and why updating the G1000 isn't a great UX experience. Also, the nose gear light fails to come on during final, and I had to re-cycle the gear.

I use Garmin’s software to update but I agree, it’s not easy, and if one bit of data doesn’t write properly you have to redo it. It’s a pain.
