Huge props for the amount of effort and editing that went into this, been wanting to make a similar video for ages but st james was one of the spots i missed out on when i did my sydney trip. 10/10 vid bro
When I was working for Railcorp, I had the privilege of touring the disused St James tunnels. There's only two. One heads towards Circular Quay and cannot be walked very far before it becomes completely submerged with water as the tunnel begins to descend downwards. The water is crystal clear. You would need scuba gear to actually explore any further through the tunnel and I have no idea how much further it extends for. All up (including the water section), total traversable tunnel length would be about 100 meters. There were no ladders to be seen anywhere sticking up out from the water as seen in the video, so I'm not sure what that was all about. On the Central end, the tunnel extends for a few meters through some concrete bunker blast walls then out into a small section of tunnel. This section was completely dry (no water anywhere). There was a large tree root hanging from the ceiling. Total length before the tunnel ends is about 70 meters.
This video was filmed 3 years ago so things may have changed

There was still air in one of the boats in a recent visit and we floated out a little haha :)

The Australian tunnels, bunker and subterranean underworld is the most secretive place on Earth.
In fact most Australians dont know what go on down there.
damn was always wondering what was on the other side of that lake
now you know
Always wanted to know too, use to go there 40 years ago.@@ActualBoys

How come you didn't exit at museum station? You instead risked it by continuing on the tracks and coming out below Goulburn car park?

Its there. I used to drive a garbage truck down there from 1 shop to the other. Its an active work place loading dock. Nothing secret about it.

Great vid.
Great job.

The Tunnel...a really good film.
just thinking about it
How did you get in here? I want to try this myself. I've never explored anwhere abandoned before. Would love some advice
On the island platform at St james there is a green door, behind it there is an unused platform. Not sure if that connects to another tunnel which has an entrance next to the train tracks beyond st james heading to museum. It is trickier nowadays as cameras have an AI function that detects trespassers and the gate in the tunnels sure to have a camera watching as well. Your best bet might be to enter the tunnels near circular quay or somehow find a blindspot on the platforms and jump down there, using the height of the platforms as cover. Very risky
Excellent video
Need to work on the video quality.. Dark scenes, shaky camera.
I would absolutely love to explore these tunnels
That's hectic is it possible to still get down there?
i think they did this during the covid lockdowns so probs not as there was probably less security then.
yer
Yes but sadly, it is way harder today. On March - April 2022 security cameras have been installed in most of those places. So if you tried going there before 2022 you would have been successful.
Awesome work fella's
Well done guys 👍. Good job. Thanks
Damn I need to know these ins and outs😂😂👀
i thought all the gates for entry to the lake where all locked up
Bro yous must trust eachother heaps! Mad video
I’ve been there twice and I forget how deafeningly silent it is aye

I've heard that the tunnels are occasionally open to the public, does anyone know when that is?
Vivid: Dark Spectrum at Wynyard Tunnels was May of this year (2023). There's vids of it on TH-cam.
They rarely if ever open them to the public.
Railway historical society used to run tours up until 911 happened.@@ConnieLynchitzWhoElse
16:08 wait is that the same bell from the movie the tunnel ?
Yeah
Well done boys
“Cave clan” lol

appreciate the kind words
beware the skin crawlers of st james
Heyy... Shhhh.. Did you guys hear that?
Is that a beer he drink ? Purple can ?
Monster
it's a purple mother, not a monster.
Ok so first, they aren't guards, they are station staff, and I highly doubt big w, and Sydney trains sponsored these two to do this video.
Don’t be silly
noticed this isn't part of the lost footage from Melbourne. . .this scramble is to bury the forest video so as to forget that you would do an overnighter if you got 100 likes, what i wanna know is are you going to let the 6 more wanna be likes overshadow the 94 that hit the like button and want to see overnight in the woods ? 🍔🍺
we need 6 more likes. 😎
cool another nice spot ruined
so fucken good bro
urbex 😝
So the tunnel horror movie is fake 😂
Been there, done that. Long before they put that steel ladder in there.. back then we only had an old wooden piece of firewood. Pics of me in the lake, looking back at the others on the shore and unlike this attempt, all 100% legit.
Mad lad
Where is the access point
@@danielbull7221 Behind locked doors now mate. Access for enthusiasts all ended as a result of 9/11.
@@zordmaker still easy to get in if you get off your ass and look around a bit 😉
@@Willj461 do you need a boundary key to get in?
#ytab

@@ActualBoys where is the access point
