An exquisite intellectual, filled with wisdom and understanding of the scriptures is just what you are Eric. You expound the scriptures in a very sensible, brilliant, and understandable manner contrary to the nonsense "at the proper time" we'd been poisoned with for decades as elders. Great thanks to you.

It doesn't make sense that Jehovah's witnesses will wait to make it through Armageddon before they work on perfecting themselves. The bible speaks of those having the fruitages of the spirit as being his worshipers. JW's are taught mainly just to help each other while the Jesus said that if you only love those who love you what special thing are you doing. Churches give food and charity to people who are not their members but that is rarely done or admonished by the JW organization.

What a great subject to consider as we approach the Memorial, helping us consider our relationship with Jehovah through Jesus Christ. I trust that this information will help those who are still on the fence of putting true faith in the blood of the Christ by partaking to resolve their uncertainty and open the way for GOD'S spirit to dwell within them.

(I have a couple of mountains left to move and a few trees to plant in the sea to make it a reality). But I also don't kid myself: even if I do not make it to God's Kingdom under Christs rule in an approved state yet i am condemned, I know for a fact that all of this misery currently going on (and in the past), under satan and wicked men will be brought to a very finite end. First of all, i am personally focused on my relationship with my God and his will and purpose for all!
i have tried to focus on this as the primary link between myself and my God, hopefully based on love of him and above all things and then to synergize and collaborate with those around me in harmony and with the desire to build that love towards self and others, to the best of my ability!
As God reveals to me his will i do my best to synchronize my thinking and actions and heart with that!
As I Meditate on this subject, as with many others i realize and reflect upon text like these:
(1 Corinthians 2:6-10.14-16) 6 Now we speak wisdom among those who are mature, but not the wisdom of this system of things nor that of the rulers of this system of things, who are to come to nothing. 7 But we speak God’s wisdom in a sacred secret, the hidden wisdom, which God foreordained before the systems of things for our glory. 8 It is this wisdom that none of the rulers of this system of things came to know, for if they had known it, they would not have executed the glorious Lord. 9 But just as it is written: “Eye has not seen and ear has not heard, nor have there been conceived in the heart of man the things that God has prepared for those who love him.” 10 For it is to us God has revealed them through his spirit, for the spirit searches into all things, even the deep things of God.... 14 But a physical man does not accept the things of the spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; and he cannot get to know them, because they are examined spiritually. 15 However, the spiritual man examines all things, but he himself is not examined by any man. 16 For “who has come to know the mind of Jehovah, so that he may instruct him?” But we do have the mind of Christ.
(Luke 9:57-62) 57 Now as they were going along the road, someone said to him: “I will follow you wherever you go.” 58 But Jesus said to him: “Foxes have dens and birds of heaven have nests, but the Son of man has nowhere to lay down his head.” 59 Then he said to another: “Be my follower.” The man said: “Lord, permit me first to go and bury my father.” 60 But he said to him: “Let the dead bury their dead, but you go and declare abroad the Kingdom of God.” 61 And still another said: “I will follow you, Lord, but first permit me to say good-bye to those in my household.” 62 Jesus said to him: “No man who has put his hand to a plow and looks at the things behind is well-suited for the Kingdom of God.”
I Try not to let my past affiliation with these groups cause me to divert from learning the truth, because they victimized me in the past, as some sort of vindication to please my flesh!
I keep in mind the "when God chooses to reveal all the information we need to understand everything clearly" to us about his will and purpose, the one thing that i have to say being involved in Jehovah's Witnesses for many years and before that orthodoxy, I have tried to focus on the kind of person God wants me to be, so as to please him, vs getting sidetracked by and "personal interpretation" or "Group interpretation" over the "person i need to be" as viewed as acceptable to My God! And this I prioritize highly!
In the end it will be "Jehovah's will and purpose" that is done and I will do my best to harmonize with that will!
I Try to reflect on the creation account and the history of Gods dealing with his creation, to the degree i can understand that and try to have as full of a understanding as possible into "the actual truth" as revealed to us in his word, as he is not revealing anything to me that i am conscience of except thru the Christ and I'm waiting for his return and more insight.
In the meantime I'm exploring many things and ideas and sifting through them and hanging on to the ones that make sense to me and staying open for future adjustments in my understanding and then what i accept as truth!
    GOOD FOOD FOR THOUGHT!

This state of being you mentioned seems integral to understanding the theme.
The kingdom of god has always existed the spiritual kingdom
Then from the foundation of the earth the physical kingdom.
One is visible to mankind and the other the spiritual is not.
We only see the spiritual or contemplate it by faith. The assured expectation of the thing unseen. Hebrews 11.1
And our Lord Jesus reminds us that the kingdom of god is in our midst or among us. Luke 17.20-21
The physical and the spiritual exists at the same time together. A state of being.
So both exist at the same time then.
If one rejects the heavenly in preference to the earthly hope they reject both as you cant have one without the other.
Thank you Eric for your clear direction i am always grateful for your gifted teaching.

@@wendywiens4209 “How then were your eyes opened?” they asked.
He answered, “The man they call Jesus made some mud and anointed my eyes, and He told me to go to Siloam and wash. So I went and washed and received my sight.” John .10
      Here we consider this.
Why when our Lord Jesus could (instantaneously!) previously cure a blind man. Why on this occasion did he not do so the same to this man when their individual conditions were identical . One he instantaneously cured but the other he rubbed mud on his eyes and then told him to go to the poll of Siloam. Why the difference? There is a reason for us to ponder. The first example was to demonstrate his power for the Glory of god to bear witness and to demonstrate the fulfilment of the scriptures in the things spoken of about the identification of the Christ and his authenticity. The second was a lesson for all of us. The second blind man was not cured instantaneously. Before he was cured first he had to obey the command given by Jesus our Lord. It was then he was cured by first obeying the command and going to the place of the provision. i.e. The pool of Siloam. I like you and many others pray for guidance to be directed to the truth and understanding of Gods word. In answer to my prayers I was led here to this place Berean pickets if you like the pool of Siloam. We all of us have been provided with our appointed brother here at the pool of Siloam. he has been given the place to answer all questions of a spiritual matters for the benefit of all our brothers and sisters who are lost. As one of the anointed for over 50 yrs i can honestly say that while i have enjoyed the physical creation my most dominant desire is to be with Christ in the spirit realm and to work under his and Gods direction having the wonderful force of Gods spirit to help and direct others to come into a right spiritual approved relationship with God and Christ. My desire is to help individuals to overcome the imperfections they have inherited and suffered from all their lives on the earth. Those not anointed have an earthly hope and we as anointed have been trained to help, understand and care for individuals who have an earthly hope. My own desire is to rule for these reasons and although the prospect of living forever on the earth is a wonderful prospect for non anointed i deeply desire to serve in the spirit realm and have absolutely no inclination to remain in the flesh. Hope this helps!

It does help to understand that. I would only point out that people who have "an earthly hope" are hoping for something that doesn't exist. I'm referring to Jehovah's Witnesses who believe in the other sheep doctrine taught by Rutherford and perpetuated by the current Governing Body that those who are loyal supports of the "brothers of Christ" (I.e. the Governing Body) will be declared righteous as friends of God to live on earth.
So the term "earthly hope" is something of a misnomer. The wicked will be resurrected in the resurrection of the unrighteous (John 5:29; Acts 24:15). That will be to the earth, of course. But is the Bible appealing to people to hope to be resurrected as unrighteous ones awaiting judgment? I think that calling it a hope as if it were something to be reached out for is going a bit far.

    • @anointedbygodandchristnotj5188
      @anointedbygodandchristnotj5188 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

Further to my comments above let me point out that Gods original purpose was for mankind to live forever on the earth! This changed when Adam sinned and Satan questioned Gods rightfulness to rule over his human creation thus causing humans to eventualy die. In order to restore Gods original purpose a new arrangement was needed and this eventualy led to a heavenly arrangement ie the kingdom foretold by Christ and made up of chosen ones from the earthly human creation in order to understand and deal sympatheticly with those on the earth in order to eventualy bring Gods original purpose back on track which was originaly that humans were meant to live forever on the earth. What a loving arrangement that God should provide such a sympathetic arrangement choosing selected humans who could sympathise with imperfect humans in order to help them reach human perfection.

You may like to discuss these verses: 2 Peter 3:13 'What we are waiting for is what he promised: the new heaven and new earth, the place where righteousness will be at home.' (Both heaven and earth.) Rev 7:1-8 talks of 144,000 (whether literal or not) and a different group in verses 9-17 - a huge number , impossible to count, of people from every nation. These are righteous since they wash their robes in the blood of the lamb. They serve God in his sanctuary and the one who sits on the throne will spread his tent over them. This is on earth since Rev 21 says the New Jerusalem comes down out of heaven and God will make his home with men, not the other way round.
Matt 11:11 says that John the Baptist was the greatest man on earth but the least one in the Kingdom of Heaven is greater than he. Eph 1:10 talks of Christ's rule which will bring together everything in heaven and on earth.
I can understand not wanting to believe Watchtower's doctrine's but I think we need to be careful not to go in the opposite direction simply as a way to get away from them. As Jesus said about the Scribes and Pharisees - Do what they say, not what they do. This needs more thought of course.

    • @wendywiens4209
      @wendywiens4209 2 ปีที่แล้ว

@Ruth Moram -- wonderful thoughts that you share. Thank you. May I address your verses too? First wanted to mention Rev 7:2 --where John said that he HEARD an angel calling out: "I heard the number of those who were sealed, 144,000 from all the tribes of Israel (I believe this is a symbolic number because the tribes are also symbolic, no tribe of Joseph and the tribe of Dan is missing, etc. so it is not literal.) Then Rev 7:9 "After this I looked and SAW a multitude too large to count, from every nation and tribe and people and tongue, standing before the throne and before the Lamb. They were wearing white robes and holding palm branches in their hands." It appears that these two groups are the same and not different! John HEARS the angel speak symbolically about the ones before the throne and Johns SEES these same ones before the throne and lamb. This is a heavenly setting. Yes, they serve God in his sanctuary! Yes, and the New Jerusalem does come out of heaven to the earth. The scripture at Rev 5:10 also says that the kings and priests will reign UPON the earth. So yes, the new heavens and earth will be together and Christ will unite all things in the heavens and the things on earth. But that doesn't mean that the righteous will be resurrected to the earth. The scriptures support only an unrighteous resurrection to the earth. Acts 24:15 and John 5:28,29. Just like Jesus walked the earth in his resurrected body, the kings and priests with Christ will do the same. See 1 John 3:2 --the anointed will see Jesus as he is because they will be like him. Also, Phil 3:20 and 2 Cor 3:17. There is no reason that those of the first resurrection will not be upon the earth (at times). But they will be incorruptible with a heavenly body....immortal, not fleshly...likely ministering to the unrighteous to help them. "The first man was of the dust of the earth, the second man from heaven. As was the earthly man, so also are those who are of the earth; and as is the heavenly man, so also are those who are of heaven. And just as we have borne the likeness of the earthly man, so also shall we bear the likeness of the heavenly man." 1 Cor 15:47-49
Yes, Matthew 11:11 says: "Truly I tell you, among those born of women there has risen no one greater than John the Baptist. Yet even the least in the kingdom of heaven is greater than he." When we think about this, we think also of when Jesus said that his disciples would do greater things than he did John 14:12, but we can't think that to mean that any person is greater than our Lord Jesus, can we? To me, Ruth, this is understood in the context of making disciples, of spreading the good news. John baptized in water, but Jesus baptized in holy spirit. John did not baptize a single person in the name of Jesus Christ, according to the Bible. Jesus appeared to 500 or so when he was resurrected but Peter in Acts 2:41 had 3000 people baptized in the name of Jesus in one day. This is how I understand that the least one in the Kingdom of Heaven is greater than John. In terms of making disciples of Christ. Yet, this does not mean that John will be resurrected with the unrighteous. No, we can see at Hebrews 11:37-40 we read: "They were stoned, they were sawed in two, they were put to death by the sword. They went around in sheepskins and goatskins, destitute, oppressed, and mistreated. The world was not worthy of them. They wandered in deserts and mountains, and hid in caves and holes in the ground.
These were all commended for their faith, yet they did not receive what was promised. God had planned something better for us, so that together with us they would be made perfect." Verse 40, the last verse here, shows us that these faithful ones under the Mosaic law do not have to go another 1000 years to be tested and made faithful. No, the scripture says that they would be made perfect together with us. Us, meaning those in the new covenant with Christ Jesus who have the hope of the first resurrection. I hope I have addressed your concerns and have touched on the scriptures here in a meaningful way. If I have not, please let me know as I want to understand what you mean when you say that Eric is going in the opposite direction, in your words, to get away from the Watch Tower's doctrine. Eric uses scriptures not theological ideas made up by an Organization. Please help me to understand your concerns about how and where he is going in the opposite direction by referring to scriptures. Thank you. Your sister in Christ who cares about you, Wendy
P.S. I am sure if we watch the second video in this 2 part series, we will see many more scriptures to explain what the Bible speaks of to support what Eric is showing.

Well, like a few others on here I have always had my mind set on living on the earth, Mathew 5: 5 Blessed are the meek for they shall inherit the Earth, Eccles 1: 4 One generation after another....The Earth abides forever, Rev 12:1 Behold the tabernacle of God is with men and he will dwell with them.... I love the earth and look forward to meeting my loved ones again, living together, yes 'building houses' and having dominion over the animals who will be tame. I am not indoctrinated by the WT As I chose to fade some time back. I just read what the bible tells me and believe what I read.

Eric my brother in Christ I am so thankful for you and your bravery to speak out. I would like to talk to you to get your views on the Restoration of the True Church in the last days. It is my truth That before Armageddon can come True Church needs to be restored to what it was before the great apostasy and then it must be tested, and you are part of this movement.Since I woke up I have found others who used to be elders in the organization and teachers and they are amazing at what they teach.
There are others online teaching that never have been associated with the organization but they speak truth as well and there is room for them in his coming restoration. Again I am not teaching anything I’m giving you my thoughts on how I see things panning out due to my reading of the Bible. Don’t listen to me don’t believe a word I say if you like any of the things I have said please verify it in your own Bible I’m just a man. I repeat I’m an imperfect man I make mistakes I have a sordid past and only by my absolutel faith in the restorative and cleansing power of Christ ransom blood can I even consider there is a Hope for me.
My favorite scriptures at the moment are John 3:16 and John 14:6
For me it’s going to be interesting to see how this all plays out in the next few years I was born into the organization And my family of women were instrumental in starting Jehovah’s Witnesses in my hometown one side of the family Donated the property back in the 60s where the kingdom hall sits now it’s a double kingdom hall with four congregations in it.
My dad side of the family came from Arkansas with the teachings of Jehovah’s Witnesses firmly in their minds and when they arrive in Vacaville in California my aunt wrote The society and told her she wanted to start the kingdom hall there. She had five sisters one of the sisters with my grandmother indeed started a Congregation and only had a few attendees. A brother would come from out of town once a month and give a talk.
In the Vacaville Kingdom Hall in one of the small rooms is a letter from the watch Bible and Tra society dated 1947 recognizing my aunt Thelma Edwards as the company servant.. I took a picture of that because I was so proud of her. That’s when I was still asleep. I’m so glad I got that picture because I’m sure they’re gonna be taking that down real quick if they haven’t already. I know this is a long post and I’m in the hospital right now and have nothing better to do but study and comment on videos and make videos.
I woke up completely in the fall of 2021. Not only did I wake up but I was saved by grace not works I am your born-again baby Christian brother in Christ. I have no business teaching anyone and actually that attitude is what got me in trouble with my elders. We had a watchtower study sometime last fall and it talked about this scripture I’m not going to use the NWT for reasons that would probably offend any Jehovah’s Witnesses that are reading this. So I will quote from the Amplified Bible
You were such Not many [of you] should become teachers [serving in an official teaching capacity], my brothers and sisters, for you know that we [who are teachers] will be judged by a higher standard [because we have assumed greater accountability and more condemnation if we teach incorrectly].a good teacher and so humble. I am neither I would never be a good teacher. I try to tell my elders that I no longer felt I qualified to teach in view of what A Study article pointed out sometime in last November I think it featured James 31 I’m going to quote it from the amplified Bible it says:
Not many [of you] should become teachers [serving in an official teaching capacity], my brothers and sisters, for you know that we [who are teachers] will be judged by a higher standard [because we have assumed greater accountability and more condemnation if we teach incorrectly].
I wrote the brothers and told him I didn’t feel comfortable teaching any longer and I wanted to just encourage the friends as an elder. I explain that to my wife as well who is a Jehovah’s Witness. All went well for about a week. And you know what happen next some elders on the body wanted to get to the bottom of this and find out what I have been doing and what I have been reading to make me think I didn’t qualify to teach Jehovah’s Witness doctrine anymore. Well so much for my slow silent fade away with my wife to safety. Let’s just say I threw a Molotov cocktail and a stick of dynamite right in the middle of our congregation in Washington and now I’m on the run basically. What’s interesting is they have not disfellowshipped me for what they would call apostasy and what I would call being a heretic. Big difference. I told them all
I have not turned my back on the ran some sacrifice I have not turned my back on Jehovah I also told him Jehovah was a made-up name by a man that they have caught it before in the watchtower Raymudo Martini .
I also told him Jehovah wants his name back because he needs to sanctify it and he will remove his name from that abomination.
Again don’t listen to me I’m just a man I’m imperfect I’ve got a sordid past. But I do love Truth and the night I was saved I went to bed I begged for the truth and I offered my life to do whatever Jesus needed me to do to help him advance his truth.
So now I find myself in the position of anambassador for Christ kingdom.
That is my job looking forward. I’m not a teacher I’m not a healer I’m not an organizer and I’m not very smart. There’s plenty of people on the earth they can fill those shoes.
Are you not Eric Wilson my brother in Christ?
Am I not Shane your brother in Christ?
I certainly hope your answer is yes.
I Call myself not Shane now because I’m looking to the future when Jesus comes in the clouds as a man and reveals himself to all mankind I hope to than me my big brother and have him give me my new name and it better not be Shane. Amen come Lord Jesus come soon.
I’m sorry if this seems convoluted it’s early in the morning and I am suffering in the hospital so I didn’t really proofread this and I use my iPhones voice to text feature. I look forward to watching more of your videos thank you for your hard work my brother.
    Sincerely,not Shane.

Thank you for explaning this to Jehovah's Witnesses, Eric. I agree that we as Christians are saved by grace through faith in Jesus Christ. *It is not of ourselves.* It's a gift of God. Ephesians 2: 8 - 9. *There is nothing we can add to the saving works of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.* When Jesus died, he said: It is finished. Salvation for humanity was accomplished, when Jesus death paid the penalty of our sins.
Let me explain the deeper meaning of John 6: 63 in context.
In John chapter 6, Jesus tells his listeners that he is the bread of life. In a symbolic way he tells us this in verse 49 - 51.
49 Your fathers ate the manna in the wilderness, yet they died. 50 This is the bread that comes down from heaven, so that anyone may eat of it and not die. 51 I am the living bread that came down from heaven. If anyone eats of this bread, he will live forever. And the bread that I will give for the life of the world is my flesh.”
Now the true and deeper meaning of verse 63 in chapter 6 "It is the Spirit giving life; the flesh profits nothing. The words that I speak to you are spirit and they are life." Berean Literal Bible.
The flesh, literally understood, is not profitable of itself for life; for man lives not by meat, or flesh alone, but by God's word and blessing of God. Christ's teaching is to be, not carnally, but spiritually understood. The listeners think of a physical eating of His flesh, and this offends them; but what if they, who have thought of bread descending from heaven, see His body ascending into heaven? They will know then that He cannot have meant this. The Descent of the Spirit will follow the Ascension of the Son, and men full of the Holy Spirit will have brought to their remembrance all these words (John 14: 26), and they will then know what the true feeding on Him is, and these very words which He has spoken, will carry their lessons to the innermost being, and be realised, not simply in a spiritual sense, but as spirit and as life. The doctrines which Christ had then been delivering concerning himself, his flesh and blood, being spiritually understood, are the means of quickening souls. The Gospel, and the truths of it, which are the wholesome words of our Lord Jesus Christ, are the means of conveying the Spirit of God, as a spirit of illumination and sanctification, into the hearts of men. The Holy Spirit is also quickening sinners dead in trespasses and sins: the Gospel is the Spirit that giveth life, and is the savour of life unto life, when it comes not in word only, or in the bare ministry of it, but with the energy of the Holy Spirit, and the power of divine grace!

It is really amazing to note that most of the teachings of the Watchtower are not scriptural. Those many years of indoctrination have really blinded the minds of JWs(2 Cor 4:3-6) to the point that they cannot think on their own besides making reference to the JW library instead of using Bible scriptures and they can even refute what their own bible says. It is surprising that JWs want to be friends of Jehovah and not children of God, they want to attend the memorial as observers and not partakers as Jesus clearly said at John 6:53 that except you eat my flesh(bread) and drink my blood(wine) you have no life in you, they attend the memorial to support the anointed, to show appreciation of the sacrifice and continue doing so as long as some anointed ones are alive here on earth instead of doing so in remembrance of Christ until he comes. They want to live forever on this earth, building houses and restoring it to a paradise, which is going to be destroyed(2 Pet 3:7,10-12 and Rev 20:11) rather than look for the promised new heavens and a new earth(2 Pet 3:13 and Rev 21:1,5) Lord have mercy

I have now 1,442 videos uploaded to TH-cam, of my mostly telephone conversations (but a few zoom calls) with British Jehovah's Witness elders, which have been sorted into UK geographical regions such as London, Wales, Scotland etc. I estimate that I've now covered at least three quarters of all of the Kingdom Halls in the UK. Some of my most recent videos are discussions about lesson 13 of their book: Enjoy Life Forever which states on page 55 that false religions get involved in Politics and the Military. But I then ask these leaders about the Watchtower's New York corporations involvement in the UN (1992-2001), the European Association of Jehovah's Witnesses involvement in the European Political group OSCE. The Watchtower's acceptance of shares in the Rand Cam Corporation which makes engines for military drones, the New York Corporations acceptance of share dividends in companies such as Boeing and others which make military jets, through the Henrietta M Riley trust etc. So to quote John Lennon's song - Being for the benefit of Mr Kite from Sergeant Pepper: "A splendid time is guaranteed for all."

    • @BeroeanPickets
      @BeroeanPickets  2 ปีที่แล้ว

@Mick Hewitt -- All Christians are anointed because Christ means "anointed." You cannot be a Christian if you are not anointed, according to scripture. The meek that Jesus talked to in the Sermon on the Mount are children of God. Their salvation hope is with Christ. The unrighteous are not the meek ones who will inherit the earth. In the Christian Greek Scriptures we see in Acts 24:15 and at John 5:28,29 that only the unrighteous will be resurrected to the earth. The only resurrection for the righteous will be to the heavens with Christ (not talking about location). The evil doer, according to Scripture will be with Christ in paradise. What did Jesus mean by paradise? Was he talking location or state? Was he giving the evildoer assurance that he would be resurrected, or was he assuring him he would be one of the kings and priests ruling with Jesus? We will have to wait to find out.

What is the point of the Bible? To restore what Adam had lost. A plan was made to satisfy Jehovah’s requirements. First set up the environment Jesus was to be brought. (Israel) Jesus comes to earth proclaims a new creation. Man with a heavenly body. He starts to collect his fellow kingdom rulers, that will have to be transformed. Most of the Bible discusses inviting and sifting through many who will try to get through the door. Then Revelation is written for the future. Revelation gives new details. Revelation 6:11 gives the details, new light that a number is to be filled. They die like Jesus, sacrifice. He is satisfying every desire. Humans have a desire for the earth. The last part of revelation deals with the earth and the restoration. Feels like when the demons did not have an invitation to come down here to earth and live, unless you have an invitation to rule with Jesus you are not invited. We cannot judge who has been invited. But basically the big picture is humans are made for this earth not heaven. The Bible was written for those who are struggling to get to rule with Jesus. Personally I feel we don’t know all the ins and out of how the ruling will take place, but he can put any of us where he wants us.

@Blind Ear -- Thank you for your thoughts. Yours are interesting reflections... "Jesus comes to earth, proclaims a new creation --man with a heavenly body.... and basically the big picture is humans are made for this earth, not heaven... humans have a desire for the earth." Do you mean righteous humans have a desire for the earth or unrighteous ones? Righteous humans have a desire to serve Christ Jesus and our Heavenly Father and that supercedes a preference to live on earth, doesn't it? Can you explain how you see heaven? Any scriptures you can share? Of course heaven is not a material place, and people get so caught up in the location. How do you see scriptures like Ephesians 1:9,10 "And He has made known to us the mystery of His will according to His good pleasure, which He purposed in Christ 10as a plan for the fullness of time, to bring all things in heaven and on earth together in Christ." Also, new Jerusalem coming down to earth Rev 21:2. Also Rev 5:10 You have made them to be a kingdom and priests to serve our God, and they will reign upon the earth.”

@@BeroeanPickets Thanks for your questions. Questions always stirs my thoughts and sometimes stirs up new ones. Adam was the only righteous man to live (except Jesus) and his desire was to serve God by populating and cultivating the earth. I see righteous persons in the future wanting to do his will on earth. The Bible speaks of the chosen ones and holy ones separately from the righteous. Jesus came to earth to chose those who would rule with him. A very high bar. Whether we are chosen for a heavenly purpose or earthly, there will be his will done both places. The unrighteous will not take up that load. When Jesus returns every eye will see him. A physical body? Even if it would be televised you would know he was here. Half joke. His government will be a world government. Many humans will need to run it. Humans are a little lower than the angels. Of course if we were to go into the spiritual realm it would be somewhat familiar. John was invited up without too much trouble. Paul didn’t know if he went to a third heaven. So it’s invisible but not traumatic. Will continue with a later response as I have something I need to do.

For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us. Not only that, but we also who have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, eagerly waiting for the adoption, the redemption of our body. For we were saved in this hope; but hope that is seen is not hope, for when a man sees a thing, does he hope for it? But if we hope for what we do not see, we eagerly wait for it with perseverance. For whom He foreknew, He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brethren. Moreover whom He predestined, these He also called; whom He called, these He also justified; and whom He justified, these He also glorified.

Hello Eric I have watch all your video's. I won't go over it but I told you some background of me. So as a spectator I been studying with JW and I been viewing one's who left the organization. Between seeing both views with an open mind I would like to offer some balance questions. To be honest there's confusion on both sides. To everything that adds up there is an Oddity. Let me share my question that everyday LOOP!
1.( Disfellowshipping) How can this be a tool of good if it makes people come or stay for the wrong reasons? Being one will come back for the love of their family and not for the love of God. Which in return makes this sec full of actors and actresses. How can you know one is in it for the right reasons with such a threat over you of lost. Yet in balance you can not just have bad Association around you. Where does the balance come in to play. Jesus said Honer you're mother and father that is a (commandment) did he not curse ones for not doing this over man traditions yet where is the balance?
    2. (False prophecy) it is no secret, the claims of the Watchtower gave Armageddon dates. Jesus said not to listen to ANYONE saying here is the Christ! So clearly when the msg of the organization was claiming 1975 was the end with the other dates it was false Christ. False information. False hope! I cannot understand how (everyone) missed back than That NO ONE KNOWS THE DAY AND HOUR! So who ever didn't listen to that msg was they wrong ? Now today the msg is correct. (No one knows) Now that we really are in the end the msg of the organization is not being taken seriously due to the history. How would that be right if God's organization mislead people just so they could give stumbling information contradict what Jesus said by saying they knew the day, was wrong and stumbled many yrs after. You have to ask WHY ? Was such a big thing missed! Why did Jesus say even the elect would be mislead. Who are the elected? And who are the False Christ? Yet I ask with balance is the msg of the organization in void today? They say the dates were used to clean the organization out but why would Jehovah say if someone speaks in my name and it doesn't come true, don't fear them and yet have people speak in his name that didn't come true so Jehovah can say you didn't listen to my people? Cleaning out you say? No it was simply not from the Father. Yet the msg has changed and I support that Armageddon is coming at a unknown hr so are we fools to hang on to history or wise? The dark one uses sugar to draw people away from God not salt.
    3. (Same mind set) I will end this comment here. Jesus said he wanted everyone in the same mind set to serve his father. Before the organization was just people who read the Bible and followed God the best they could. How can we serve 5he same God if your God promotes hell and mine doesn't. How can we know the same son if yours died on a cross and mine died on stake. How can we be in the same mindset if we're all reading the Bible but we all see a different book! I ask everyone and anyone who is promoting the right Christ? Is it religion or just the Bible. One can not get God's work done alone and one will lose with out the accurate support. All glory to Jehovah God.

    • @BeroeanPickets
      @BeroeanPickets  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

@Natural State - Yes, we must find our freedom in Christ, and not in the dictates of the organizations that take the place of Christ. Getting away from man-made religion is the first step to worshipping our heavenly Father in spirit and truth. God is Spirit, and His worshipers must worship Him in spirit and in truth.” (John 4:24). Jesus Christ is the way and the truth and the life (John 14:6), and not men standing in his place. After we free ourselves from the dictates of men standing in the place of Christ we can understand what the real congregation is, the ekklesia, the body of Christ. This is a metaphor that describes the relationship between the true disciples of Christ, the children of God, who are members belonging to each other. Paul writes: "Just as each of us has one body with many members, and not all members have the same function, so in Christ we who are many are one body, and each member belongs to one another." Romans 12:4,5. Here is another scripture: "The body is a unit, though it is composed of many parts. And although its parts are many, they all form one body. So it is with Christ. 13For in one Spirit we were all baptized into one body, whether Jews or Greeks, slave or free, and we were all given one Spirit to drink." 1 Cor 12:12,13. Colossians 1:18 shows that Jesus Christ alone is the head of the body of Christ (Col 1:18) not men barking out orders and issuing threats of disfellowshipping if they are not obeyed at all the levels at which they micromanage the people under their yoke. When the congregation, the ekklesia is not divided based on the teachings and power of men over others, then the holy spirit can act on all those in unity with each other, united in the same spirit and truth. The children of God can see what they have been assigned to do. This is part of their resurrection hope.

Eric, do you think that Jesus's literal and physical return to this earth (Acts 1:9-11), where people's bodies will be resurrected (on this earth and not a physical resurrection in a spiritual heaven), indicates that the ultimate destiny for Christians is this (restored) earth (Revelation 5:10), and not heaven, which is known as the intermediate state, as heaven is regarded by most scholars as only a temporary state for the souls of the dead to reside, and not our eternal state. The idea that Christians will go to heaven eternally is a popular position, promoted at the lay level and runs contrary to most scholarship for 2,000 years in most denominations.

      @vinniegg 2 ปีที่แล้ว

I believe pretty much what you just stated. I just believe though that heaven is not that intermediate state. We will sleep and then we will rise and be given immortal bodies like Christ had. And Christ will rule on Earth. He is the last Adam. And that is how God will dwell with us. The Earth is just a realm. And it is a very special realm. It is God's footstool. It was God's purpose for man to live on the earth. And that is how his purpose will be complete.

We as human beings are flesh, made in Gods image, Adam threw away that perfect fleshly body, and Christ layed down his perfect fleshly body to bring back mankind to perfection in the flesh, which was man's original status of Jehvah's creation and purpose. Gods purpose has not changed, and regardless of the interpretations of men, it is only logical that that original purpose come to it's full accomplishment, that is why Christ gave the lords prayer to his followers, to continue to pray for God's will to take place on the earth as it is in heaven, we are taught to pray for God's Kingdom to come, we are taught to pray for Gods will to be done on earth as it is in heaven, we know that will from Genesis, God will not have his purpose deflected by anyone in heaven or on earth, a perfect 'Human fleshly body' had to be sacrificed to restore mankind back to perfection, to balance the scales of divine law, there is a lot of negativity in scripture regarding human flesh due to it's fallen status, but when Adam and Eve were created in perfection, God looked on all Flesh and said it was good.
There are today tens of thousands of so called Christian groups all believing they have the correct interpretation? as an ex JW I now see the deceptions of organised christian faiths as nothing but the trappings of men, and no different to the judgement christ laid upon the religious order in the first century Jerusalem, what I see in the bigger picture is that the son of man wil shortly end the rebellion that first started in heaven and begin the restoration of planet earth and mankind, for God so loved the world of mankind that he gave his only begotten son to redeem them back to life and do away with sin and death, so as a wicked imperfect man that is soon to spring his mortal coil, I will look forward to the reserection back to mother earth.

      @BeroeanPickets  2 ปีที่แล้ว

@G Payne -- You don't believe that Jesus is the Christ? Christ comes from the Greek word χριστός (chrīstós), meaning "anointed one". The word is derived from the Greek verb χρίω (chrī́ō), meaning "to anoint. The original Greek word for Christian is “Christianos” which comes from the two Greek words “Christ and tian.” The word Christ means “anointed” and tian means “little.” So the word “Christian” literally means “little anointed ones.” "And in Antioch the disciples were first called Christians." Acts 11:26. Where is the scriptural proof that they were named in derision?
The true disciples of Christ were little annointed ones -- the point being that they received the holy spirit. "For all who are led by the Spirit of God are children of God."(Romans 8:14) The point is that through Jesus Christ as the anointed one, the true disciples of Jesus Christ in the first century and to our day are called Christians because we are led by the Spirit according to God's will: "You, however, are controlled not by the flesh, but by the Spirit, if the Spirit of God lives in you. And if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he does not belong to Christ. 10But if Christ is in you, your body is dead because of sin, yet your spirit is alivee because of righteousness. 11And if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead is living in you, He who raised Christ Jesus from the deadf will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit, who lives in you." What word would you propose instead of Christian? A child of God? An anointed? The elect? The chosen? The true disciples of Christ? What we must do is see the meaning of the word Christian in relation to the fulfillment of God's purpose to unite the heavens and earth in Christ Jesus. "And He has made known to us the mystery of His will according to His good pleasure, which He purposed in Christ 10as a plan for the fullness of time, to bring all things in heaven and on earth together in Christ." Ephesians 1:9,10

@@BeroeanPickets My FYI was regarding Christian and the history. Should you be called a Christian? That was my original topic. But just solidify your point and then some:To the surprise of some, “Christ” is not Jesus’ last name (surname). Yes you are right this name “Christ” comes from the Greek word Christos, meaning “anointed one” or “chosen one.” This is the Greek equivalent of the Hebrew word Mashiach, or “Messiah.” “Jesus” is the Lord’s human name given to Mary by the angel Gabriel (Luke 1:31). But did you know that “Christ” is His title, signifying Jesus was sent from God to be a King and Deliverer (see Daniel 9:25; Isaiah 32:1). “Jesus Christ” means “Jesus the Messiah” or “Jesus the Anointed One.”
      What Is Jesus' Real Name?
Indeed, Yeshua is the Hebrew name for Jesus. It means "Yahweh [the Lord] is Salvation." The English spelling of Yeshua is “Joshua.” However, when translated from Hebrew into Greek, in which the New Testament was written, the name Yeshua becomes Iēsous. The English spelling for Iēsous is “Jesus.”
This means Joshua and Jesus are the same names. One name is translated from Hebrew into English, the other from Greek into English. It is also interesting to note that the names "Joshua" and "Isaiah" are essentially the same names as Yeshua in Hebrew. They mean "savior" and "the salvation of the Lord."

    • @LosBereanos
      @LosBereanos 2 ปีที่แล้ว

@@gpayneEmpowerment Of course, Jesus was not a Christian. We, who follow Jesus, are Christians. We follow the anointed of God. Saying Jesus is a Christian would be like saying that God is godly. A Christian imitates the Christ, follows the Christ, and in doing so may become anointed with holy spirit as Jesus was, but not in the same sense as Jesus who is the head.
Whether the name started out in a pejorative sense or not is a matter of some dispute, but it is interesting that the writers never used it to refer to the disciples, using instead terms like brethren, holy ones, and "the way".

I have thought about this question quite often, too.
After Jesus had been raised from the dead he was able to walk the earth and finally was caught up into heaven. If we receive bodies similar to his, I think, we will be able to be present in heaven and on earth as well.
I wonder about Revelation 21, where we read
"Then I saw “a new heaven and a new earth,” for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and there was no longer any sea. I saw the Holy City, the new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride beautifully dressed for her husband. And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, “Look! God’s dwelling place is now among the people, and he will dwell with them. They will be his people, and God himself will be with them and be their God."
This text describes the New Jerusalem coming down from heaven so that God will be with mankind. This text sounds like God is coming to earth to be with us. Maybe that is what is causing questions by many. What is your idea on how to interpret this text? If Jerusalem is coming down from heaven, would this not mean that it will be on the earth? What will the purpose of a "new earth" be if we will live in heaven?
Thanks for your thoughts on this aspect.
    God bless,

@Thomas Zscheile - thank you for your thoughts. I agree with you. See Revelation 5:10 which says, "You have made them to be a kingdom and priests to serve our God, and they will reign upon the earth.” We can also think that priests (serving and kings and priests) require the presence of people. Ministering to people on the earth makes us think that it will be a ministering to the unrighteous--helping them become a part of God's family. The point of this video is to show that the only salvation hope held out to Christians is to be part of the first resurrection. There is no righteous resurrection on earth supported by scripture. Being part of the first resurrection with Christ means, according to scripture, having a body like his. See 1 John 3:2, Phil 3:20, 2 Cor 3:17, etc. and also 1 Cor 15:47-49 "The first man was of the dust of the earth, the second man from heaven. As was the earthly man, so also are those who are of the earth; and as is the heavenly man, so also are those who are of heaven. But we have even lost that part of our mind, the bridge to make invisible things real to us, through poetry and symbolism. "God sits on a a throne! It says so!" How could god sit on a throne? God who made time and space, any throne would be inside of his being made out his own flesh, how could he sit on it?

And the same word is used everywhere about kingdom of heavens etc. "Kingdom of happiness and eternity" = "kingdom of heaven". "No longer will there be any curse. The throne of God and of the Lamb will be in the city, and his servants will serve him." - Revelation 22:3
One of the things that you don't often think about when you consider what believers will do in heaven is that we will continue to serve. The Bible is not clear about the capacity that we will serve, but you don't have to worry; it won't be drudgery. If you have experienced serving with joy, that will only increase in heaven.
What about Reigning and Ruling with Christ?
There are scriptures that talk about us reigning and ruling with Christ. Here are a few.
"You have made them to be a kingdom and priests to serve our God, and they will reign on the earth." - Revelation 5:10
"If we endure, we will also reign with him." - 2 Timothy 2:12
"Blessed and holy are those who share in the first resurrection. The second death has no power over them, but they will be priests of God and of Christ and will reign with him for a thousand years." - Revelation 20:6
While the Bible is clear about us reigning and ruling with Christ, it seems like this is during the time when Jesus establishes his millennial kingdom on the earth. The Bible isn't totally clear as to whether this will carry over into the new heaven and the new earth.
    The Real Prize of Heaven
As we have looked at what believers will do in heaven, I want to shift your attention to the real prize of heaven. As beautiful as heaven will be, especially as described in Revelation, the prize of heaven is not the pearly gates, the streets of gold, the crowns, or the mansions which many people talk about. The real glory and prize of heaven is that we get to see Jesus face to face.
"They will see his face, and his name will be on their foreheads. There will be no more night. They will not need the light of a lamp or the light of the sun, for the Lord God will give them light. And they will reign for ever and ever." - Revelation 22:4-5
It's God's presence that makes heaven what it is. There will be no greater joy than to experience God's presence in a body that is unhindered and not tainted by sin in any fashion. The fact that we get to see Jesus and spend eternity with him is the real prize of heaven. Paul alludes to this in 2 Timothy.
"Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day--and not only to me, but also to all who have longed for his appearing." - 2 Timothy 4:8 If you are not careful, you will focus on the crown, but what is most important is to know that it is rewarded to those who long for his appearance. Those who have that desire recognize the real prize is his appearing.
    Whatever You Think, it's Better
"But as it is written: 'Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, Nor have entered into the heart of man The things which God has prepared for those who love Him.'" - 1 Corinthians 2:9 (NKJV)
What will we do in heaven? Whatever believers will do in heaven, it will go beyond anything we could ever imagine. It will be far greater than any experience we have ever had on earth. It will not only be better but exponentially better. Whatever you must endure now, do it with an eye on heaven because for those who have placed their trust in Jesus as savior, one day that will be your reality. Consider what Paul said.
"For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us." - Romans 8:18
I leave you with the words of an oldie but a goodie.
"What a day that will be when my Jesus I shall see. When I look upon his face the one who saved me by his grace. When he takes me by the hand and leads me to the promised land. What a day glorious day that will be." -"What a Day That Will Be" by Jim Hill.

Note as Jesus teaches the Sermon on the Mount; "the kingdom of the heavens is like...." Ask yourself from all the illustrations Jesus gave what was the end result of (The fishnet.,The mustard grain, The widows lost coin, etc.) Easy illustrations from all examples of life they could comprehend, that brings happiness. So what is the kingdom of the heavens like? It should be what we're atisapatin & reaching out for.

What will we do in heaven? If you are not familiar with those words, they are from a song I can remember singing numerous times over the years (I am not sure if they still sing this anymore.) In talking about heaven, obviously, that is the desire and longing of every believer (or at least it should be). As we begin to think about heaven, a very logical question comes to mind. What will believers do in heaven? While the Bible isn't clear on everything believers will do, it does speak to a few things.
    We Will Feast in Heaven
Before Jesus was crucified, he shared communion with his disciples. During that time, he made this statement.
“I tell you, I will not drink from this fruit of the vine from now on until that day when I drink it new with you in my Father's kingdom." - Matthew 26:29
In the book of Revelation, John mentions something called the wedding feast, or the marriage supper of the lamb.
"'Let us rejoice and be glad and give him glory! For the wedding of the Lamb has come, and his bride has made herself ready.'Fine linen, bright and clean, was given her to wear.(Fine linen stands for the righteous acts of God's holy people.)Then the angel said to me, 'Write this: Blessed are those who are invited to the wedding supper of the Lamb!' And he added, 'These are the true words of God.'" - Revelation 19:7-9
One of the things we will do in heaven is feast in celebration. One of the great celebrations in heaven will be the wedding supper of the lamb. This will be the greatest party and celebration that has ever been thrown. This will be an event like no other, where those who have chosen to follow Jesus will be united with him. One of the things believers will do in heaven is fellowship. This will be a time for reunion. We will be able to identify everyone in heaven. In 1 Corinthians, this is what Paul tells the church. "For now we see only a reflection as in a mirror; then we shall see face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I am fully known." - 1 Corinthians 13:12
If you remember, in Matthew 17, when Jesus was transfigured before Peter, James, and John, the Bible says Moses and Elijah appeared. It is safe to say that Peter, James, or John had never met Moses or Elijah before, yet clearly, they knew who they were. I believe this is how it will be in heaven. We may not know everything about a person, but we will be able to identify who they are. This will allow for some wonderful fellowship and some glorious reunions.
    We Will Worship in Heaven
One thing you can be certain of is that believers will worship in heaven. Revelation tells us of the worship that will happen around the throne. Here is one instance.
"After this I looked, and there before me was a great multitude that no one could count, from every nation, tribe, people and language, standing before the throne and before the Lamb. They were wearing white robes and were holding palm branches in their hands. And they cried out in a loud voice:
    'Salvation belongs to our God,
    who sits on the throne,
and to the Lamb.'" - Revelation 7:9-10 . The Bible is not clear on how much we will worship or for how long, but the worship in heaven will be the purest and sweetest worship we have ever experienced. People from every nation and language gathered around the throne, offering worship to our God. Just the thought of that causes joy to leap in my heart. That is one song and choir you definitely want to be part of. The best part of the worship is that you will be able to enjoy God's presence without the hindrance or influence of sin. Truly, that will be an awesome day.

I have an idea of what heaven is like , I believe everything we have here on earth is also in heaven but it’s not materially made , the trees will glow and the leaves have lights in them , the flowers can speak and there are great cities , greater than on earth glowing like opal and diamonds and Gods presence is there and those who go there will be only a conscience and when you think others will hear your thoughts and identify you and because it is a spiritual existence no one can ever get sick or age and there is no time there , everything is beautiful glowing like light bulbs and hose lights , the most amazing place one could ever be , I have the gift of dreaming , since a child I dream spiritual things and I’ve seen some things that I have described in my dreams , may I explain my greatest dream .
I was driving in a van along the shore line , esplanade, I looked out to see and the waves got rough , I saw lightening flashes , I got fearful , the lightning became severe and it struck my van , suddenly I felt sleepy , I thought I was going to die , I fell asleep and I woke up in a very white room , I didn’t see any walls , everything was white , in front of me it had stairs , white stairs , only 3 stairs , and the stairs were like platforms , large areas , as I woke I was standing up then something that I can not describe came up behind me , I turned and saw it , it was not of this earth , it was a strange creature , i was not afraid , it was a nice creature , I can’t even draw it , it’s indescribable , it grabbed me and suddenly I felt weak and fell to the floor , then it touched me and I regained me strength , I got up and from behind me it opened my mouth and put something inside my mouth , I don’t remember the taste it was over ten years ago , once I swolled it I was instantly projected to a grass area with a huge lofty tree , there were people under the tree , beautiful friendly people , there was no satanic presence at all , it felt like it was the new system .. I have dreamt many dreams such as this , never should I boast , I tell you these things in sincerity and humbly , not for any admiration .

I was a Bible reader when a JW came to my door. My husband and myself had separated from the world the way we understood it, not the political element but a worldly way of life we were trying to live everyday by Bible guidance.I was not intending to “ study” w them but I felt sorry for them having to go door to door…. Long story short I wanted to believe the dead were dead and the hope of the resurrection. As things progressed I was forced to give up my heavenly hope as “ that calling was closed” worse yet I was marked as apostate ( I did not understand this at the time just found it terribly confusing these ppl come to ur door but don’t talk to u when u go to the KH?) my question that I was persistent in getting answered apparently triggered this reaction. My question was if they understood the spiritual baptism into the body of Christ? Finally after 3 yrs I saw an Aid to Bible Understanding book and it was in there so I had to accept these ppl do have the Truth. I gave up my heavenly hope under duress I really had no choice but the confusion never really left me.
Years later I find out the ppl who were primarily responsible for the masterpiece Aid book were all disfellowshipped! Ray Franz Ed Dunlap and one other, his name escapes me. And the reasons why they were disfellowshipped bc GB would not accept the truth from the scriptures. Try and wrap your head around this kerfuffle! Crisis of conscience is a must read for ppl waking up. I’m now trying to reclaim my heavenly hope…. But I feel I’ve lost so much… thank you all who help w these videos it’s a priceless gift to lost sheep WT created…💜💙❤️

Eric I think to get the full perspective on christianity you have toe look at where it started. I understand this is a lot of reading but there is still a lot of research to be done yet on this subject. For the following info is why me and my family consider ourselves followers of Jesus, not christian. Everything around it comes from religion, which is why almost all religion call themselves christians.
To understand the origin of Christianity, one must begin with the population of Jewish Christians who lived during Jesus’ lifetime. In the November/December 2012 issue of Biblical Archaeology Review, Dead Sea Scroll and early Christianity scholar Geza Vermes explored the origin of Christianity by examining the characteristics of the Jewish Jesus movement to see how it developed into a distinctly gentile religion.
In the New Testament, Jesus only preaches to a Jewish audience. Geza Vermes described the mission of the 11 apostles to preach to “all the nations” (Matthew 28:19) as a “‘post-Resurrection’ idea.” After the crucifixion, the apostles began to champion a new faith in Jesus and the ranks of the Jesus movement (known as “the Way” at the time) swelled to 3,000 Jewish converts. At first, these followers were distinctly Jewish, following Mosaic law, Temple traditions and dietary customs.
In the free eBook Paul: Jewish Law and Early Christianity, learn about the cultural contexts for the theology of Paul and how Jewish traditions and law extended into early Christianity through Paul’s dual roles as a Christian missionary and a Pharisee.
In BAR, Geza Vermes wrote: “Acts identifies the demographic watershed regarding the composition of the Jesus movement. It began around 40 C.E. with the admission into the church of the family of the Roman centurion Cornelius in Caesarea (Acts 10). Later came the gentile members of the mixed Jewish-Greek church in Antioch (Acts 11:19-24; Galatians 2:11-14), as well as the many pagan converts of Paul in Syria, Asia Minor and Greece. With them the Jewish monopoly in the new movement came to an end. Jewish and gentile Christianity was born.”
As gentiles joined the Jesus movement, focus on Jewish law decreased and we start to see the origin of Christianity as a distinct religion. Jewish Christians in Jerusalem participated in separate Jewish services from the gentile Christian population, and while the two groups agreed on Jesus’ message and importance, the separate rites and communities led to increasing division between the groups.
Geza Vermes presents the late first century C.E. Jewish Christian Didache as an important text for understanding the Jewish Jesus movement. The Christian document focuses on Mosaic Law and the love of God and the neighbor, and describes the observance of Jewish traditions alongside baptism and the recitation of “Our Father.” The Didache treats Jesus as a charismatic prophet, referring to Jesus with the term pais, a word for servant or child that is also used for King David, rather than the “Son of God.”
By contrast, the early second century Epistle of Barnabas shows a distinctly gentile Christianity in its presentation of the Hebrew Bible as allegory instead of covenantal fact. The clearly divinized Jesus in this document is distanced from the Jewish Christians and the divide between the Christian communities continued to widen over time. Geza Vermes writes that after Hadrian’s suppression of the Second Jewish Revolt, the Jewish Christians quickly became a minority group in the newly established church. At this point we can see the origin of Christianity as a distinctly non-Jewish religion; late in the second century, the Jewish Christians either rejoined their Jewish peers or become part of the newly gentile Christian church.

Why would we go to heaven if we are made of dirt and are in harmony with everything in nature through our bodies that we are? It would be cruel by god to make us here like this to suffer if we were always meant to be somewhere else anyway. And why would Jesus constantly speak in parables and then suddenly stop, "no, heaven is a place and there are wings and stuff, and god has a pen and writes in a book, and god sits on a throne, Jesus only spoke on parables in the gospel then he stopped and his disciples didn't learn to speak in parables from him."
"Heaven" is obviously a superlative. Like Paul says, the anomalistic, the demonic, the demonic being the most base and perverse, while wonderful amazing heavenly with heavenly being the most exalted ecstatic. "Kingdom of heaven" "heavenly kingdom" etc, where there is no throne that Jesus sits on, because it's a symbolic word describing the best things we can imagine. "Kingdom of Rome" wasn't very "heavenly" it's foundation rested on slavery.

To be honest, even when I was a little girl, I never thought I was going to heaven and I used to say no God would have made me an angel. I didn’t grow up as JW and I didn’t start studying until I was 15. So -truly in my heart it’s really truly hard for me to except going to heaven, because I’ve always wanted to be here on earth -always. So it’s hard to hear you say that I don’t care or I don’t want that gift. I truly have always love the Earth since I was a tiny girl.

Ps 37:29 "The righteous will inherit the land and dwell in it forever."
Who are the righteous? Who inherit anything? Are they not the children?
"The Spirit Himself testifies with our spirit that we are God’s children. 17And if we are children, then we are heirs: heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ-if indeed we suffer with Him, so that we may also be glorified with Him."(Romans 8:15, 16 BSB)
Are these not the ones Jesus spoke of in the Beatitudes?
“Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. 4Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted. 5Blessed are the meek, for they will inherit the earth. 6Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be filled. 7Blessed are the merciful, for they will be shown mercy. 8Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God. 9Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called sons of God. 10Blessed are those who are persecuted because of righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven." For the youth will die at a hundred years, and he who fails to reach a hundred will be considered accursed.
21They will build houses and dwell in them; they will plant vineyards and eat their fruit. 22No longer will they build houses for others to inhabit, nor plant for others to eat. For as is the lifetime of a tree, so will be the days of My people, and My chosen ones will fully enjoy the work of their hands. 23They will not labor in vain or bear children doomed to disaster; for they will be a people blessed by the LORD-they and their descendants with them. 24Even before they call, I will answer, and while they are still speaking, I will hear. 25The wolf and the lamb will feed together, and the lion will eat straw like the ox, but the food of the serpent will be dust. They will neither harm nor destroy on all My holy mountain,” (BSB)
That is poetic imagery describing prophetically the restoration of the Jews to their homeland.

@@Darrinnewlife J. F. Rutherford came up with a secondary salvation hope for the other sheep because he was locked into the idea that only 144,000 can makeup the body of Christ, the anointed comprising the first resurrection. There is a Biblical hope for two resurrections, one of the righteous and another of the unrighteous.
"I have the same hope in God that these men have, that he will raise both the righteous and the unrighteous." (Acts 24:15 NLT) Paul had that hope as did the Pharisees and High Priest Ananias who were accusing him before Governor Tertullus (Acts 24:1, 2)
But Paul didn't preach a hope of a resurrection of the unrighteous. It would make no sense to go about preaching to people that if you carry on exactly as you are, in your unrighteous acts, you have a hope of being resurrected. Yet that it what Jehovah's Witnesses are preaching. They claim the other sheep will be resurrected as righteous humans though still in a state of sin. They claim that all others will be resurrected as unrighteous humans still in a state of sin. So where's the difference?
There will be an earthly resurrection. That is what Paul hoped for in faith. But it wasn't what Paul was reaching out for. He wanted to be saved and become a brother of Christ, a co-heir to inherit the kingdom. I've come across many exJWs who don't want to "go to heaven". (I think the idea that we "go to heaven" that is a misconception, but that's a discussion for another day.) Fine, but that isn't the hope being held out today. God's purpose is to restore humanity back into His universal family. Humankind will become perfected children of God, living in perfection on earth as our heavenly Father intended in the first place with the original pair. But to accomplish that, there are some initial stages as Paul explains:
"But in fact, Christ has been raised from the dead. He is the first of a great harvest of all who have died.
21So you see, just as death came into the world through a man, now the resurrection from the dead has begun through another man. 22Just as everyone dies because we all belong to Adam, everyone who belongs to Christ will be given new life. 23But there is an order to this resurrection: Christ was raised as the first of the harvest; then all who belong to Christ will be raised when he comes back.
24After that the end will come, when he will turn the Kingdom over to God the Father, having destroyed every ruler and authority and power. 25For Christ must reign until he humbles all his enemies beneath his feet. 26And the last enemy to be destroyed is death. 27For the Scriptures say, “God has put all things under his authority.” (Of course, when it says “all things are under his authority,” that does not include God himself, who gave Christ his authority.) 28Then, when all things are under his authority, the Son will put himself under God’s authority, so that God, who gave his Son authority over all things, will be utterly supreme over everything everywhere." (1 Corinthians 15:20-28 NLT)
