- Only about 2% of Jehovah's Witnesses partake of the bread and wine at their annual commemoration of the Lord's Last Supper. That leaves about 8 million of them attending and actively refusing to partake. Are these millions sinning? Is the Governing Body part of one of Satan's great successes in his attack against the Seed that will eventually crush him and his demonic hordes?

Christians in the first century did not build real estate empires, nor did they get people to donate buildings to anyone, nor offer free labour. I would say halls are good for other things, such as watching a movie together or other parties of sorts. Not solemn gatherings, such as the remembrance of the Ransom. What a scam the building of kingdom hells was!!! Was.

I have never been a Jehovah's Witness. As a pastor of the Christian faith, I have tried to help those who left the organization while trying to maintain their love for God. The shunning was so devastating for them and it broke my heart. I am grateful for your efforts to reach those who are stuck or cornered in the watchtower organization. Because of the depth of your experience in the organization, your ability to communicate in an understandable way, a loving way, and for the fact that you have continued to love God, you will comfort many who have left and lead many out of this organization; something I simply would not be able to do no matter how fervent I would communicate the same things that you are communicating. I'm so thankful that God doesn't give up on people blinded by the deception of these organizations. God is using you and will continue to use you, I'm confident of this. Today has been one of those days.
I left the organisation 22 years ago. My so called friends never came to see me, even the one who taught me through bible studies and guided me to baptism.
I’ve been on a journey for the last 20 years. I’m married with three children and I have talked to my wife about Jehovah and she is very respectful and has never told me to stop. My children believe in Jehovah and my family and I remember Christ privately every year.
But, the last few years it’s been on my mind about why we don’t partake of the bread and wine and my kids think we should. It's being indoctrinated that had stopped me from partaking.
Last night, I simply asked Jehovah to clear my mind and give me the answer. Yes or no.
Today, I was making a comment on a TH-cam video on why we should not celebrate Christmas and I was looking up scripture and saw Matthew 26. I read it and it seemed to be more clear than ever we should partake of the bread and wine.
I nearly cried. The veil had been lifted and I knew Jehovah was answering my prayer.
Tonight, I came across your video and I wasn’t even looking for it.
It seems Jehovah is making sure I know I can and my family can partake of the bread and wine.

I see videos of exjw's with their decorated Christmas trees prominently displayed in their videos. Sometimes they even point to the tree proudly while they are talking. I shake my head in amazement. I realize that Watchtower stunted our growth in spirituality and in scriptural knowledge, but seeing exjw's with Christmas trees makes me wonder if they learned nothing at all from the scriptures while they were in Watchtower. It is refreshing and reassuring to see your comments on this subject.

In Luke 10 v 1 Jesus sent out 70 disciples, did the 70 partake of the bread and wine? It is up to you if you want to let SATAN Mislead you just like he mislead Adam and Eve. At that time he used a snake because there were no other humans, he now has millions of demonic humans to choose from. After you let him fool you, he will laugh at you.

I invite you to take whichever magazine you please and take another of a previous year. After you have the two together make a list of the Bible verses they use.
You’ll see that the “organization” repeats itself and is failing to provide the Spiritual food that God intended for those who seek Him!

@@montesmoni I agree with you and with what was said in the video about reading things into the text. 1 Cor is a good example where the context - the passages leading up to verses 27 till 29 - makes it very clear that Paul does not speak of unworthy persons not chosen by God to be part of the body of Christ, but of an unworthy manner of conduct which is unacceptable for the commemoration and proclamation of Jesus' death.
By the way, when after having finished a so-called Bible study my JW acquaintance asked me what we should study next I told her that I would like to read a whole Gospel, epistle or other Bible book and discuss it as we went along. I was not overly surprised when she didn't show any interest for my suggestion...
I’m partaking tonight for the first time. I’ve been out for 16 years yet still felt the sacraments were not meant for me...until now.
Last year was my first time ever! It was so moving and emotional. I knew I was doing the right thing. Did it again this year and will do so every year. So happy for you!!

The last Memorial I attended, I remember feeling uneasy like I'd done something very wrong by not partaking. Now I know that to reject the bread and the wine is to reject Messiah and to reject The Most High who sent him. These days, my husband and I both joyously partake of the bread and the wine, we belong to Yahshua/Jesus and are the children of The Most High Yahuah, our ABBA/FATHER. What other group knows and advertises the name of the Creator worldwide and in one voice?

We partook of the bread and wine for the first time this year, and I even managed to make the very simple matzah bread in under 18 minutes on my first attempt. The embodied peace experienced was indescribable. Shalom.

They always stop reading at 1 cor 11:26 but a few years ago I continued reading verses 27 thru 32. It is saying that to eat of the bread and drink of the cup brings judgement unless we are able to discern who we ourselves are. However when we are judged we are disciplined by Jehovah that we may not be condemned with the world.
My takeaway from that reading was that it is better to eat and drink of the emblems and risk being judged rather than being condemned.

@@pah4610 im a stickler for quoting scripture correctly and John 3 18 does NOT say one will not be judged it says all who believe will not be condemned. john 3:18 says: "Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only Son of God."
All will be judged both the righteous and the unrightous. 2 Cor 5:10. For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, so that each of us may receive what is due us for the things done while in the body, whether good or bad.

Not partaking of the bread & wine but passing it along is a symbolic rejection of Christ. This is a practice that Satan worshipers do.

Since this is the plain institution of the Lord's supper, the form and manner of administering of it; and since the bread and wine in it are representations of the body and blood of Christ, and the design of the whole is to remember Christ, and show forth his death; it follows, that

unworthily, shall be guilty of the body and blood of the Lord.
Did you read the whole chapter in 1 Corinthians 11? What Paul meant with doing the Lord's supper "unworthily" was that you should not eat the emblems as means to get feed, as you would do when eating a meal. Neither get drunk in wine at the event. Then you would have partaken unworthily. Your focus should be to remember that Jesus died for the forgiveness of your sins.
Watchtower members think they have to earn something, but forget that God is greater then our hearts and we are simply dust! You can’t earn life........

This year our Memorial talk was given by someone not of our specific congregation. And I sat their through the whole talk thinking is it me, or is this years Memorial talk more about why we SHOULDNT partake of the emblems than it is about Jesus sacrifice for us.
I want you to know that I have been invited to the remembrance. If I go I WILL take the emblems out of obedience to Christ's command.

I studied with JWs this year and was invited to the memorial. A few days before the memorial I was explained what it looks like and my shock was immense. When I watched the JW video how the emblems pass by as people reject them one thing came to my mind: black mass. The total ridicule and rejection of our Lord Christ Jesus. I thank God now, I never went and by grace of God will never go to this mockery memorial of the death of Christ.
Satan is capable of intentionally muddying the waters as well. Their Black Mass parodies Roman Catholic Mass. To automatically assume that declining the emblems is Satanic is simplistic thinking.

Brother Eric, yesterday I was praying. I didn’t know what to do. I’m shocked how fast God answered my prayer. I thank you , your words help me understand what I need to do. I thank God for giving you the opportunity to help us understand his word. It’s only been 3 months for me, but I feel so much closer to him now, then what I did in over 30 years. It’s sad, moats of jw are good people searching for God, but they will never get to know him. I pray for them and I pray for you, and everyone who wants to serve him. Two JWs ladies knocked on my door a few years ago and handed me the invitation. (I'm an XWT, I don't like saying xJW as I never left Jehovah but left WTS org. )
anyways....I asked the 2 girls.. "does anyone partake at this great celebration?"...they replied NO ...
I then said "so its like getting an invitation to a party, but nobody eats and drinks the food ? That's very strange ". ..they seem lost for words..
When they come to my door I have to explain that my family studied in the 70s. We left. Then I know they think of me as one of the fallen ones 😑 I tell them I respect their devotion and wish them a safe journey. I’ve seen the Bible in a new light now. I think we are taken on Gods path and given the insight to discern what is right. They can call themselves The Truth however I keep on my walk toward God.

I have used the same scriptures for my family that are still JWs. I added the information that we partake in the emblems, because of our obedience and faith towards God. Yes, it is a command of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Furthermore, we show that we want to be partakers in the new covenant. We show faith in the arrangement of God, when we take the emblems. Read Luke 22: 0 and Hebrews 9: 15, that last verse explains the purpose of the new covenant, which is the redemption connected with the death of Jesus.
This topic is the reason I left. And can’t go back. They’ve misled everyone into believing that there are two kinds of Christians
There are not. There is one. All are anointed all humans are either in or out. Not some third group of jon anointed Christians

As a Catholic, when JWs come to the door, I start talking about the wonderful Eucharistic Lord's Supper shared by the Catholic, Orthodox and the Orthodox Churches of the East. They seem taken aback and interested when I explain that we know from the Bible that it is truly the real Body and Blood, Soul and Divinity of Christ AND it is open to EVERYONE! Sometimes their eyes seem to open wide in amazement. Many want to know where it is in the Bible. Of course, I use a Christian translation and not the JW one. I hope that I plant some seeds of the Truth that will grow in their minds and souls. BTW, the Catholic Church, several hundred years ago, had a heresy call Jansenism that discouraged Catholics from receiving the Eucharist because they were unworthy. Very similar in a way to what the JW believe. Guided by the Holy Spirit, the Church fought this, for a time, popular heresy and encourages everyone who is without grave sin to come to the "Table of the Lord". God Bless you all.

We Christadelphians and we break bread to remember christ every Sunday Morning, which is done all over the globe in every Christadelphian Community, Which The Jehovah Witnesses of the 144, OOO can only do, which again is not scriptural. All of these who stay close to the Lord did partake. A man have first regret for all of his sins, confess them to God and ask for forgiveness and cleansing through the blood of Christ. Then he must partake because this is what the Lord Jesus Christ commands to anyone.

Not to partake is to reject Christ sacrifice. We need Christ! For the watchtower to teach their members not to partake is pure satanic and part of a luciferin agenda.
When you meet together as a group, it is not the Lord's Supper that you eat. For as you eat, you each go ahead with your own meal, so that some are hungry while others get drunk. Haven't you got your own homes in which to eat and drink? Or would you rather despise the church of God and put to shame the people who are in need? What do you expect me to say to you about this? Shall I praise you? Of course I don't! I really enjoyed this brother! You took a completely different angle on it than my wife and I did, still coming to the proper conclusion with clear scriptural reasoning. Interestingly we were led to TRUTH in understanding this matter simply by researching 1 or 2 statements in a book being studied for "the Book Study"; the parallels between fleshly and spiritual Israel are so simple and beautiful it left us both knowing we would be unfaithful if we did not partake. At first we went to a congregation not our own, so as not to make waves, and then a family member who didn't partake, but respected it being a personal decision, recommended we could do it at home; so now we gather with everyone else to help keep an open interchange with them, but then go home and respectfully obey Jesus' commands. The correct understanding is in the Bible but completely misunderstood by the Watchtower where they say to let the ones with the heavenly hope partake. Great study video. What do the JWs do with the fact that Judas was allowed to partake? Jesus knew he was about to go out and betray him but he didn't forbid him from eating and drinking. Also, what do they do with the foot washing? Jesus told them to do that too but very few Christians do it. It was meant to help them be unselfish and humble.
How were you supposed to know that you were not allowed to partake and let them know before hand, that is an unreasonable expectation.

Well said. This was the first year I didn't attend the Memorial. I had my own and partook. Stealing the blessed hope from us is wrong, and that is what they've been doing all these years. I appreciate the Bible knowledge I got while in the organization, but it was definitely directed down a false path. As I read the Scriptures now, things have a whole new light and meaning to them, especially reading in other translations
. There will be judgement for those who guided us falsely. I would hate to be them when that day comes. I pray for my mom and aunt both that God will recognize how they were deceived and will count them as righteous through their faith in the Lord Jesus' sacrifice and his resurrection during their lives, regardless of how the Society fed them falsehoods. They were both sincere believers. I pray for those still following these men.

Be sure to read the context of the scripture. I never did until recently. 1 Cor:17 "In the following directives I have no praise for you, for your meetings do more harm than good. 18In the first place, I hear that when you come together as a church, there are divisions among you, and to some extent I believe it. 19No doubt there have to be differences among you to show which of you have God’s approval. 20So then, when you come together, it is not the Lord’s Supper you eat, 21for when you are eating, some of you go ahead with your own private suppers. As a result, one person remains hungry and another gets drunk. 22Don’t you have homes to eat and drink in? Or do you despise the church of God by humiliating those who have nothing? What shall I say to you? Shall I praise you? Certainly not in this matter!"

@@archieliburd4327 thanks for this but this scripture is talking about partaking in an unworthy way ,it is not telling us Not to partake , in fact in observing The Lords Supper , The Cup we should partake of represents the New Covenant of God with his people based on the shed blood of Christ offered in substitutionary sacrifice for our sins, so when we partake of this Cup, it represents our acknowledgement that only through His Sacrifice do we receive Salvation, and Everlasting life by the removal of our sins. We should not partake hypocritically, therefore we must examine ourselves , eat with a good conscience , and trust that we are saved by the shed blood of Christ. if you do not believe this ( and as J Ws we are taught we are not saved ) then you are simply rejecting Christ sacrifice . Please read John 3 16 and also read John 6. from verse 47, here Our Lord is saying He is the bread of life , and then in verse 53 it says unless we "eat of His flesh and drink of His blood we have no life in us . please notice in both scriptures the sacrifice is for whoever believes. God is offering EVERYONE WHO BELIEVES, not just a few , EVERLASTING LIFE. I hope this helps.

Last year I held the Memorial at my own at my house for the first time, eventhough I'm not sure on what day to hold it... and if it should be held once a year or more than once a year, like they do in churches. I'm not sure if I will hold it alone at home again this year, or if I will just go to a church for the first time and join other Christians.
I lost count of how many times in how many different territories I was in service with & the houses we 'chose'.
It says so clearly to do this in remembrance of Jesus’s sacrifice. If you aren’t doing it, then you are not doing something the Bible says so clearly to do.

I know I am a sharer in the suffering of Jesus Christ. The demons hate me I hate them more. I have been recently taking to reading scripture and in fact the whole book as you have said and i can't help but be disillusioned with the organization, I have been wanting to get baptized with them lately, but I just can't anymore why can't they baptize like in the book of acts where no one waited, and you have to be in agreement with them on every level. As I am taking this journey of making a personal relationship with Jehovah and learning to put more faith on the Christ and treating things in a spiritual way I plan on getting baptized at a Baptist church I cannot wait any longer or be held back I want to serve now that I am making the decision, I am just tying up some loose ends if Jehovah wills it will be within the month, I am glad I am not alone anymore. I thought I would be I know some organizations are starting to use the name of Jehovah again but they say some things about it that I cannot abide too, and I never thought that there would be so many willing to meet somewhere in the middle it makes me feel better.
You don't need the Baptist religion to be baptised. Anyone could baptise you. Personally, I would seek out a male person who believes in God and whom I respect as someone living a Christian life.
@@vintage6346 I hear you I do I just don't hold anyone in that regard and the only ones i know are Jehovah's witnesses and they are not taught to have faith in this way and are unable to. So I must settle for whoever baptizes according to the scriptures.

There were those in Paul's day that were using the occasion to fill their bellies, instead of recognizing the sanctity of the arrangement. That is why they were admonished by the apostle to eat aforehand. Also, sinning willfully without regard to our Father's standards, and also without a spirit of regret, and seeking forgiveness would have been eating unworthily. The Gov Body has horribly made 8.5 million believe that unworthily means not one of the 144,000. What a demonic teaching

Only rarely did anyone not participate, sometimes caused by trying to repair misdeeds and returning to God.
JW theology is very different from most christian churches.

In Mainstream Christianity (so-called Christendom)the belief is closer to what original Christians practised and that is you do not partake of the emblems if you are not baptised and if you are baptised but are not practising your faith or have hidden unconfessed sins you should first examine your conscience before participating lest you bring down a curse upon yourself by such an action. It's that simple ... a personal matter between you, God and Jesus! Not in the twisted manner Watchtower dictates to people whether or not they are worthy of partaking
Hi Eric. I was a 30+ year slave of the Watchtower but, in time, the TRUTH set me free. Unfortunately, not so for my children. Nevertheless, I've learned to study the bible properly with the help of your videos and other Christian presentations.
