Great video mate…. I’ve just painted me own house full of pebbledash. The thing is a proper graft whatever you do with it. Be it painting it or knocking it off or going over it haha! 👍👍
Funniest video ever, pure comedy and great content as usual Blaine. Had to watch it twice, dramatic music, Hollywood production. How many renderers does it take to powerfloat, 2 apparently.😂👍
When using kzp and ruling use a serrated edge or serrated spat, rules off much better, then close with a normal spat. Let it crust over and use a i bar to scrap back with and then close with diamond float and sponge float, works a treat. Them 35kg bags are a killer getting up the scaff ain’t they 😅
Good to see you using different rendering Products and giving a Honest feedback/review ( pros v cons ) electrical tools will Allways let you down in a pinch 🤣😅🤣😅 ( I've 6 knackered Mixers in my shed held together with Gaffer tape 🤣😅) You earned your Moolah on that job, More Power to your Floating 💪
With rain hitting the render, how waterproof is it? Did you have to carry on with a waterproofing because after the render went up you watered it to 'float it', so I'm assuming water has to soak in. I remember doing this using the old sand cement method only to hide the brickwork condition. Thats possibly why i would purchase a property which has had it EVEN THOUGH it looks lovely after. Nice job.
Got some old render on my extension and it is like iron. Painted tyrollean type stuff,is there a render that would go over it just to get a float finish instead?
Great video again 👌🏻. Loving these videos atm mate. I can’t wait to give the Weber one coat a go. How would you deal with putting beads on windows that are flush with the brickwork? Would be great to know. Thanks.
If I were to render over an external painted pebble dash, what should I coat it with please? I've heard you paint water and PVA glue on it first. I'm wanting to put tiles on it. Thanks in advance. Great vid.
Thank you Blaine! Iv looked at multi background base coating and found loads out there. With this you don't need t buy separate ewi OCDC? Is it really an all in one back coat???🙏 Thanks again keep up the good videos 👍👏
@@PlasteringForBeginners Agreed, OCR is a game changer and saves an entire day for the rendering due to being able to put 2 coats in one day. I also scratch the first coat, belt and braces. OCR does not go off as quick as regular mixed render, giving you a bit more time.
Great video Blaine. Thanks for sharing all those tips with us.
Thanks for watching mate 👍

Ha so true mate! It’s evil stuff
Hi Blaine, is there a video of your finishing this job with application of the silicone?

Haha thank you mate. I really appreciate that - means a lot to me. Cheers!

This is great advice, thank you mate. I’ll give that a go next thing in Rendering 👍

What if the pebbledash is painted could you still do the same? - great video beend thinking what to do with my own pebbledash
Hi mate, great tutorials. Thank you, this gear that you are using it works well in big hits, right?
Hi , Would you be able to let me know how much did you charge to render this kind of house please ? it will be an idea for me please , Thank you
His got a business to run he’s not going to tell you! Why should he !
@@Trowel1892 M8 did i ask you this question , So what is your problem
😂😂
@@Trowel1892because usually businesses let people know how much they charge for jobs? Absolute mong
@Trowel1892 somebody told me you need customers when running a business but they must have been mad.....
My rendering guys only primed my wall but didn’t use mesh? Shall
I be worried?
Good job lads. That German gear is good stuff. 👍
It’s good stuff. But I think I prefer the OCR
Second coat on you out on thick just to avoid going back and filling in after ruling?
That’s one hell of a mis match mate. Smashed it as always tho💪🏻
Haha it was my friend! Thank you and all the best with your work 👍
Got some old render on my extension and it is like iron. Painted tyrollean type stuff,is there a render that would go over it just to get a float finish instead?
It’s just use a similar process to what I used here mate 👍
Blaine, can you show how you form your belcast with the render as this can be tricky due to the difference in depth?
Put on a bit at the bottom first and then start at the top.. that's the way I go about it
I’ll look into it my friend. But @djhago is on the money 💰
@@djhago3123 Thank you.
@DoraWillExploreHer Same goes for any spots that need to be filled out put on the heavy spots first
Hand ,eye corindation ,chippies and brickies haven't got it 😅

Stop beads!

No mate…nothing wise needed. Just this render. It great stuff pal
@@PlasteringForBeginners cheers for reply 👍
Did you not need to paint with a pre-render coat as the OCDC system recommends?
Thanks again
That’s the right way to do it the mesh is key along with the silicone when it dry it’s sticks like shit to a blanket my whole was done this way
Do you know what I think the same thing with KZP and Star Contact to gritted and like you say tears. Much prefer Ecorend X32 or K Rend HP12
Yeah it gives you no time to rule…floats like a dream though. I’ll try them products, thanks for the suggestion pal!
Is Kzp the same as Weber ocr could you just use kzp as a finish the same as Weber ocr👍 another great video keep them coming👍💪🏻🔥
It’s the same but I prefer OCR to be honest…and it’s cheaper which always helps ha!
What primer did you use buddy great video by the way that baumit looks like great stuff 👌🏻
I used Bondit Rendering Primer pal. Good stuff at a good price 👍
Beautifully done ✅
Thank you mate!
Rendering is good money? How do you price it?
Blaine, what primer did you use? Did you overlap 100mm on the mesh? Si
I used Bondit Rendering primer and yes…always overlap the joints 👍
Thank you mate appreciate all your content.
Thanks for watching mate.
Another quality video. Looking at getting into doing rendering as only do Plastering and always get asked if i do rendering
Thanks matey! It’s a steep learning curve but well worth doing. There’s good money in Rendering 👍

What happened to Weber OCR?
I still use it matey. The builder, Charlie, chose to try KZP 👍
@@PlasteringForBeginners good because I just started a job with it :-)
Hi pal what do u prefer.
Kzp or weber ocr.
Good video as always
Weber OCR for me all day, doesn't sag at all and can be applied 16mm at a time.
OCR all day long. This stuff tears to easily when ruling which agitated me a lot to be honest. OCR is a lot smoother.

I love my powerfloat. I wouldn't do rendering without it now. Such a great tool.
👍👍
👍👍
Looking for someone who can do this for me on south coast
Wavey scratch iis a no no cos water gavrs on the low scratch you'll have slips
Great work but you really need a machine Blaine! Come with me for a day and we’ll do a video!
Nice vid mate
Thanks matey
Charlie got proper guns 💪🏼👍🏻😁
He’s an animal mate. He’s lean at the moment 😂
Watch you don't over mix the product
Why haven't you done heads ,,reveals first

Correct me if I'm wrong but I think you've got your p's and b's mixed up in the word pebbledash!
Haha I can’t believe I did that! Thank you for correcting me mate - much appreciated 👍
