When I was in Grand Canyon Village they had a system where they took it to the same place and separated it there. Maybe they do that there too.
I wonder if the recycling just gets shipped off to the dump. They would save money
@@DorianTMChannel it's absurd to separate the different types of waste un every homes, then transport them mixed to finally, try to separate it again (unsuccessfully) in a expensive sorting plant.

Lol ya, because one time, the garbage truck that passes around my place does that and just leaves a if he doesn’t care a single bit in the world, and sometimes the driver even knocks out the can the road and doesn’t even care and drives of, the Cruelty.
If my garbage truck did that and left it, i would for SURE call the city and maybe the cops. I definitely aint picking up his mess. Thats something he did.

Agreed but also the way they work the controls, they whip them back down so fast that they end up breaking the lids, my current recycle bin lid is split thanks to this and not the first time it's happened, they have to replace them every couple of years

Our recycling truck does that. They throw stuff in the truck, and whatever lands on the ground stays there. My street's a mess by the time they're done.
They do this in my alley twice a week and then I get a notice about trash and weeds from the city.

@@LEU_WM_266 Yeah I've driven a bunch of different Amreps in Bend Oregon. Some of them we have are set just about perfectly and set the carts down nice and easy, and some of them you have to be careful with because they'll just rip down like the one in this video.

On many of the trucks if you time it right you can force the machine to shake the can even if there’s no actually function for it.

Having driven this type of truck, I believe the guy getting out of the truck is the driver. There are driving controls on both sides of the truck. It would have been good to see if he picked up the trash.

He's right, recycling is often composed of large items that fit together more compact when averaged over a larger volume. Also the primary purpose of a trash bag is as a bin liner (which is why they are called that in some countries) to prevent soiling of the trash can container and properly recycleables shouldn't contain anything that could soil a trash can.

So the garbage truck driver has a buttons on his joystick this problem came by he did not press the pack one making the hopper get full the joystick operates the robot arm. Because sometimes they get too lazy
To pack the garbage the hopper gets full and the stuff spills everywhere. They know when it gets full because there’s a hopper cam

This ain't the driver's fault. It's people packing their trash can too full to where even dumping it upside down in a truck isn't immediately enough to empty the can.

It wasn't the garbage truck it was the people who shoved so much trash into the bin that it got stuck
If those garbage was not squeezed, it would not scattered.
