The lack of a spring on the 102” whip isn’t a concern. I used one for many years on a pick up truck without one. The whip was installed on the right rear bumper and the SWR was flat, around 1.2:1, from CB channel one up to the ten meter band. Those whips, if provided an adequate RF ground, seem broad banded or at least mine was. Adding a spring would make my antenna resonant at lower frequencies than what I operated on and would cause my SWR to climb at highway speed due to the antenna lying nearly flat.
I just can't believe adding a spring, electrically lengthening the antenna, makes tuning the antenna for one band, which is less than 500k wide, that difficult, even if you have to get an SWR reading at 70MPH and compare it to a stationary SWR for adjustments. It's math, then some fine tuning. If adding a spring lowers your resonant frequency, then trimming the end of the whip, making the antenna shorter, should raise the resonant frequency. Not sure what you can do about polarity changes at highway speeds, but it's not like your entire antenna shifts from vertical to horizontal. You can probably assume its overall polarity is about like a sloper or even an inverted L at highway speeds. Perhaps adding some sort of coaxial stub will help? Just guessing. Regardless, I am not even sure it is worth it. A decent loaded mag mount will have the range for 99% of the noise you hear on 11m, and no need to bend the antenna over, which is just ruining the whip's performance anyway.
Number one beautiful rig, number to a set of lockers that truck will go anywhere, number three I love the 102 whip best Antenna ever. And my final comment I would not be able to sleep at night with all that equipment in my truck people suck, and I have a habit of taking things that don’t belong to them.

Love the console that holds the radios and mics how do you build a console like that for the radios I want to make one for my dodge Charger someday soon
I used cardboard at first, cut out a shape that fit between the bench seat and the floor, then used the cardboard cut out to trace it into a piece of plywood, cut out the sections, cut out the holes for the radios and speakers. then wrapped each piece in vinyl, then screwed it all together! Took about 3 hours total having all the parts and tools ready to go

Bending the whip makes it horizontally polarized. Works fine for skip but not for ground plane communication. Cuts your signal in half
