I have no words to thank you, Kristy, for this site. I was so depressed with long covid and now I spend my entire days practising and following your teachings. I am loving it😊 and feel so much better.
I wish you had been my art teacher in college

Really helpful for people just starting out with coloured pencils 😀
So many incredible tips, what would we do without you? ☺☺
Welcome back Kirsty 😊. I’m first
Great video, Kirsty! I like the value study before color. Also, the way you showed how to isolate colors from a picture to create a swatch chart to work from. Well done!
Thanks so much Kirsty, you're a star!❤
What wonderful techniques and tips for drawing ✍🏻🖼️👍🏻👏🏻🎨 thank you for sharing
Missed your video
Thank you so much for sharing your amazing skills and techniques with the rest of us. Also the sheer passion, enthusiasm and emotional investment that you clearly put into you clips is both contagious and inspiring.
You don't just show us how to draw, also make us want to draw.
I never get bored of seeing you take the joy within yourself and extend it beyond your own being. Onto a blank sheet of paper, onto the internet and into the minds and souls of your followers.
Thank you so much for the video.
Thank you ❤
Wow thanks for teaching
Absolutely brilliant tutorial. Packed with info but also makes sense. It’s interesting to see how different pressure of the pencil plus the combinations of colours have a different effect on each part of the drawing. I like how you showed your method of choosing colours and the layering process at the beginning, was really interesting.
Thank you this was much much needed and super helpful 🥰
Great drawing, great advice- thanks for posting!
Very helpful video definitely gonna try to get my values down in black and white first
Excellent advice! I love apricot roses and even though I do cp, they have a special place in my heart and the heart of my family. Thank you!😊
Hmm what an interesting pre drawing preparation process. Thank you!
I use the art app Color Harmony for my color palette.

Hii , I wanna ask a question. How you make money by making art ? I mean I don't think so you tube helps you make enough money
I am not on social media at all, I got ALL of my work by word of mouth in my community by businesses hanging my work in shops, coffee, bars, and some different kinds of specialty shops and some at doctor office. Now I have more ordered work than I can handle.
Thank you very much for all your tips, Kirsty.
It's nice that you have released a new video.
What do you think of Devon Rodriguez ? He is also a very great artist from New York.
Although I made many colored drawings I have done b&w drawings lately with my Faber Castell clutch pencils. I am very satisfied with my results.
Lou Reed was the first " victim " I drew with my clutch pencils 🤣
Keep up your great and phantastic work. You are an inspiration for all newbies and more advanced artists. 👍
Greetings from Germany
I would love to know the name of the ".....paint app" you mentioned was free instead of photo shop (which I can't afford, and is so complicated to master). You talk so fast (which is great for tutorials), but your accent (which is delightful) makes it impossible to understand words out of context...maybe you could flash them on the screen.
