So proud to say I was able to meet Susan more than one time. Had the honor to lobby congress with her . I am a heart transplant recipient and in her humble existence although everyone was focused on her she made sure that my story was the one shared. I have immense respect and love for her. GO RED!!
I said the same thing when I lost my husband. If he hadn’t been so good to me it would have been easier. Prayer was my saving grace 🙏🏽

I remember the days my best friend and I watched All my Children on our lunch break during our high school years 1976-1980! The best times😎. Susan Lucci has always maintained a reputation of kindness and generosity…A true lady❤️ No wonder she had such a successful and loving marriage.

I’m 35 I’ve been feeling this sharp pain underneath my 1st&2nd left rib. Right underneath my heart. It’s gone away but it’s def recurring the past 4 months. I’m going to my doctor this week. Thank you for this!! And RIP to your husband Susan. Y’all looked so happy together.
I woke up one morning feeling the same pain I thought it was my heart, so I went to the ER and it was acid reflux. Acid reflux can cause pain in the esophagus just behind the breastbone and can be mistaken for a heart attack. Is best to get checked out.
I am a very lucky person. I was sitting at home watching something on TH-cam and petting my cat and all of a sudden I felt this pain like a serrated knife in the middle of my chest. I am usually diligent about my heart, but life got in the way and it had been 3 years since my last stress test. I told my Son that I was going into the hospital to get it checked out and it’s a good thing I did. My main artery was 90% blocked. I like Susan Lucci had what they called a Widow Maker blockage. I can’t stress enough how important it is to have a stress test and if you have pain or an uncomfortable feeling get it checked out! You will be doing yourself a big favor and Your Family will be grateful as well! ❤❤

I have same symptoms. In my case, it's Mitral Valve Prolapse. If I walk, it goes away. That's how I know it's not a heart attack.

Just reading all the comments, I grew up watching All My Children with my grandmother. I started watching the soaps at 8 in 1974! What a classic soap that was. Loved seeing her again. Still a beauty.

Same thing happened to me. Had some symptoms, but ignored them because I was busy. Then one day I ended up with heartburn that went up in my throat and pain around to my back. Drove myself to the hospital. The ER Doctor said you are having a heart attack. One artery was 99% blocked. So sorry for the loss of your husband.

So glad you are OK! I can't believe you drove yourself to the hospital but I do get it . I get wierd symptoms sometimes that i blame on my weight, auto immune condition and poor sleep, and take a tums and drink water and push through busy days, but thinking it's time for an updated heart checkup.

I remember watching All My Children with my grandmother when it FIRST aired, in black and white! Of course I remember a teen-aged Susan Lucci and have admired her immensely for decades. A very close and dear family friend, an "Honorary Uncle" Jimmy McDonough was the Property Master for All My Children for years (Susan would probably remember him; he was so full of life!) and he told us that of all the stars he worked with in his long career on TV and in the theatre, Susan Lucci was at the top of his list as being a truly kind and authentic lady, and he never saw her behaving any other way! I'm glad she's staying on top of her health, and send my condolences to her and her children for the loss of her adoring and adored husband, Helmut...

She's such a beautiful soul. I appreciate her speaking out and encouraging women to LISTEN to their bodies. She's absolutely right that women have totally different symptoms of an impending heart attack than men do. I've personally experienced the same exact heart event that she had - 98% blockage in the "widow maker" artery. I couldn't seem to take a full, deep breath (which I attributed to a case of bronchitis I had just gotten over), felt a little tired, and had very bad heartburn. The "heartburn" became so bad that I actually drove myself to the hospital thinking I was having a gall bladder attack. When things in the ER shifted quickly and they said they were sending me to the heart cath lab, I even ARGUED with them that it was my gall bladder! There was no crushing weight on my chest, no pain shooting down my left arm like they tell you. I never thought it was my heart. I thank God every day for the doctor on duty that night - he saved my life! I was a ticking time bomb without even realizing it.
the LOVE of my life died on 11/10/21....widow maker...he was the best person I ever met, and I was so lucky to be his wife, I just never got to say "goodbye"

I use to work for the Village of Garden city in the street department when I was in my early 20s, we did all the blacktop for the roads and plowed all the snow in the winter time… we were working in front of Susan’s House during a real hot summer day in 2007 and she came out with cold drinks for me and my whole crew who were working… she’s one of the sweetest ladies ever, PURE CLASS

Was a fan of "All My children" since I was 16 and miss it so much.
As a young teenager, I was a die-hard fan of "Erica". I raced home after school to watch "All My Children" with my mother. In the mornings, I took the public bus on first Ave. to get to Wagner Junior High School. My destination stop was directly in front of CBS studio. I've seen Susan many times arriving for work as I walked from the bus stop to the corner. At that age, living in NYC, it was a thrill and highlight of my day.
Susan proves that true beauty is timeless. She is still one of the most beautiful women in the world. I am so sorry for the lost of her dear husband. They were married for many years. She has always been one of my favorite actresses. I pray for only the best for her.

Always so nice to see Susan Lucci. I started watching All My Children when it started. I was 9 or 10 years old. Watched all the way to the final episode. She is a part of life for me. It's a sin that ABC axed the show. So many of the actors have since passed. All the sets were destroyed. Just the thought makes me sad. Susan is ever lovely. Sincere condolences on the loss her husband. Michael B. Jordan will always be "Regie" to me. So nice to see his success and that of other cast members such as Kelly Giddish. Through the decades, such a talented bunch of actors. Pine Valley, I miss you!!!
