My friend and I almost wound up there too that aft but we made a few decisions otherwise that took us out of the area. Needless to say, when we went over the decisions we made, we could have easily been there in the vicinity also having parked there too. Glad they caught the guy.
Im a Muslim Canadian and im just appalled and heartbroken by all of this. On behalf of all the victims i send my sincere sympathy and regards. I hope that we as Canadians can stand up to this injustice and find truth and catch who ever or whatever gang did this.
15 shots were fired, they do not know how many shooters their are or what kind of guns are involved, cops are also there for crowed control, Eaten center is also a big place, all exits had to be covered minutes after the call came in. Their are at lest 10 different surface ways in, also 2 subway stations in the mall. On top of that you need tons of cops to search every inch of the mall to see if the shooter is hiding somewhere in a store also leave cops in areas searched.
Nice catch. I was just up the escalators from the foodcourt in the mall when the shots rang out..heard em lound & clear. And in 5 seconds i was on with 911.. "SHOTS FIRED SHOTS FIRED EATON CENTER..FIFTEEN SHOTS FIRED"
