  • At 1h am yesterday Friday morning January 13th the driver of a car was caught on tape striking a concrete pillar at the entrance of a residential apartment complex in Toronto, Canada. No one was injured in the incident but the response from the TFS apparatus was momentarily interrupted. The minor collision happened as fire crews were responding from all directions at the corner of Rexdale Boulevard and Humberwood Blvd in the suburb of Etobicoke in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. An SUV can be seen caught on tape here accelerating ahead of the firetruck before sliding on the slippery road and striking a concrete pillar located on the sidewalk of a large residential apartment building. The driver then backs up and make their way to the underground parking garage of the tower complex.

  • @Seri-Katil
    @Seri-Katil ปีที่แล้ว

    If it is unsafe to pull over due to conditions, then it is better not to. It is obvious their vehicle sucks in the snow, so chances are that if they had pulled over a little and stopped that they would get stuck because of the ice and snow.
    If Toronto would take care of the roads and actually plow and lay sand, salt or whatever they use then the accident would have never happened since there would be minimal ice and snow on the road to slide on and the driver would have been able to pull over safely to let the firetruck go by. Hopefully that driver has a good lawyer if police were to find them and press charges.

      Pulling over to the right is the correct thing to do. That being said it's not always as easy as it looks.
      If you're in the left lane and the drivers on the right of you won't let you in
      If you're waiting at a red light, especially in the left turn lane and they come up behind you.
      And then there's the day a cop pulled up beside me. He's in the left turn lane facing a red light. He turns on his roof lights, waits for traffic to stop and then proceeds to make a left hand turn. Goes about a 100 feet and turns into a Tim's and goes through the drive through.
