For my 2010 Camaro, I had to make a pair of bracket extensions with a pair or license plate clips, 10mm screws and electrical conduit clips to pull back my parking brake cable and have specific front pads for the track, stock pads with no skates. Perfect video, to the point and shows fitment, really helped a lot.
Did you do anything with the suspension and driveline components? If so, what kind of mods have you done... toe rods, trailing arms, cradle bushings, driveshaft, axles, etc.? I see you have a manual and I've always heard that you'll snap axles or the driveshaft when you run DRs on stock components.
Jeff Lyle I installed lowering springs, toe links and trailing arms. You’re going to need an alignment if you install these. So far I haven’t broken anything but anticipate that to happen.. these thing spit out axels..
Jeff Sheehan thanks man! Good luck keeping it together. I’m going to try the same thing you’ve done. Great video and awesome info. Car looks great. One more thing, I’ve heard others say they’ve been able to keep stock axles together by loading the driveline while holding the parking brake... should help eliminate the shock on the hit.
Ok thanks I was wondering because my uncle has a 2010 ss with same rear tires , we’re gonna spray 300 shot of nitrous wonder what’s best tire pressure for those 45s rear tires
@@JeffAlanSheehan hey I actually got them on after looking more at this I had to remove my caliber cover and I hand tighten them on the car and followed by using my impact and it fits I appreciate it
With the bias ply tires you learn to go slow in the turns because the car really feels lose. Could be in my head but it feels like I'm going to fold the front rim if I"m going too fast.

Good one!!
Hey boss did you use hub centric rings? If not how are the wheels holding up, I’m interested in getting some
God damn it looks good

I use launch control I haven’t had any issues. Thank you for the tip!
Great informative video brother 🙏
Offset? Did u use spacer ?
You never posted the offset for the front rims, only for the rears
18s were small as you could go on the rear due to the brembo breaks or could you have went smaller.
dotdot2009 yes. 18s clear the breaks just fine and 17s will not clear
How much did the wheels and tires cost? Wheel price=$ tires price=$ ?
302 Throttle if my memory is correct, I think I paid 3500 for everything. I spent another $100 or so for mounting and balance
What kind of lowering springs do you have? Specs?
www.phastekperformance.com/ I installed their 1.5 drop springs. I also installed Lakewood rear control arm and toe links
Did you drop it 1.5 front and 1.4 in the rear??
what springs or coils you went with?

Can you run rear tire pressure at 18 psi to hook better
Brad Bryant yep. I can bring it down to 15 lbs.
Ok thanks I was wondering because my uncle has a 2010 ss with same rear tires , we’re gonna spray 300 shot of nitrous wonder what’s best tire pressure for those 45s rear tires
Brad Bryant start at 18 and keep lowering the pressure until the car slows down. Lmk how it goes.
what size spacer are u running on the rear
No spacer at all. These bold right on and I have zero issues with rubbing or anyting. Still to this day, 5 years later.
Hey I have those same wheels how the heck yours fit I order the same stuff
The only mod I had to do in order to get them to fit was to cut off the counterweight on the front pads.
@@JeffAlanSheehan I may sound crazy but I can’t get my rears to bolt up and stay tighten and I have the same exact wheels
@@marquiseparker1698 that is very odd.. maybe call Race Start for come guidance. ?

Have you had any fitment problems using these ?
What's your 60ft?
Tony Holloway the best 60ft was 2.146. The car will do better as I was coming out easily (not dumping the clutch) with 35psi in the rears.
What is the offset for your 5" front runners?
92 Dark Star, Aluminum, Black Chrome, 18 in. x 10.5 in., 5 x 4.75 in. Bolt Circle,
Backspacing (in): 7.000 in.
Offset: +35.00mm
Wanted to get the 17x10 will they fit my 11 2ss?
xxMf PROFANITYx I’m not sure. I know the 18’s fit just fine.
How’s that 18x5 on the street?
With the bias ply tires you learn to go slow in the turns because the car really feels lose. Could be in my head but it feels like I'm going to fold the front rim if I"m going too fast.
You think if I put radials on 18x5 in the front it would be okay?
@@shonactual7704 I think you'll be good to go with radials. Let me know how it goes!
