IIRC some years ago triple j used to wait for a couple of hours to upload the LAV video to keep up the illusion that it was recorded live to air and quickly edited afterwards. Now it's up after just a few minutes so it seems they're not even bothering with that pretense any more. And yet, the hosts still pretend it's live to air. It's so bizarre.
Yeah I just learnt a week ago that they are not played live on radio. Def changed how I feel about them a bit. I honestly feel kind of insulted how they try to pretend that they are talking to the musicians live on the radio early morning in the studio and the songs are being played live on the radio as we are hearing it
