KC is a testament to being out there and still enjoying performing even though he isn't 21 anymore. Saw him a few years ago at the Ventura County Fair. So much energy and vitality in his performance.
We saw him at Great Adventure in Jackson Two, NJ. He had so much energy and the horn section was phenomenal. That was in the late '70s. I remember it like it was yesterday. And hey, who hasn't gained weight. I'm just glad he's still here. 🎉❤
KC always played great dance music in those wonderful 70s. No doubt my favorite decade. Played many of his hits in a cover band i played in which helped me support my young family. It was a blast. Thanks man for all the great memories.
@@aprilstanley8708 Looks great? Really? You better get to an optometrist asap! KC is obese and has one of the worst rugs, transplants or whatever the f*#k is on his head that looks so ridiculous only a blind man thinks it looks good!!!
@@aprilstanley8708: Same here - bad knees, unfortunately. Harry is still pretty agile for his age! I hope he can lose some weight though; often, men with big stomachs have heart attacks (God forbid!!!). But, he's still fit enough to dance around on stage, so, more power to him!!! 😊
Aww I wish he was touring near me because I would go to see him in a heartbeat! I love KC's sense of humor and that he's still putting on a great show at 72!
I was there! He brought the house down! Even our local redneck guys were dancing all over. Dang good time for all! 2 hours, no lip sync, good dancing. I'm lighter than KC, 15 yrs younger and he can outdo me anytime dancing!
I am so greatful that someone posted this, thank you. I remember the moments when his singles were newly released. At the time, they were very innovative, absolutely a new step forward in music. It's not an exaggeration to say that his biggest hits were ground-breaking. Currently, the KC and the Sunshine Band albums are easily available on CD for reasonable prices on Amazon. Don't be fooled into thinking you need the vinyl. I love vinyl. But the CDs of these albums are very nice, great mastering. It's great to hear the hits, but even better to hear the full albums. Even tracks that were just album cuts sound like masterpieces today. I am so pleased to see that KC was doing well on stage this year, 2023. I like his comedy lines, the humor was good-natured, and certainly comes off as very charming. It's also great to hear his voice, in fine condition. Just listening to him speak, it sounds like the voice of a man in his 30s. I think he will eventually be recognized for his great music, in a serious way. I'd love to see a major film biopic about his career.
I was his chauffeur back in 2016, limo company was hired by local casino to bring him from long Island to Pa. Wow, did he gain weight since then. Unrecognizable. I did comment to him that he talked like he sang, same voice from 1976.

I went High School with Harry. My mother did his mother's hair. We graduated from Hialeah Sr High. We traveled to New York with Chorus Class. Hi Harry, if you read this do you remember Rhonda B.❤ good times ❤
I went to school with Harry Casey at Hialeah High, had phys Ed together 10th thru 12th grade, class of 1969. He was in the marching band so he didn’t have to dress out so Coach Gus had him clean locker room and pass out towels after showers. One day I had to run extra laps so was late taking my shower. I said, Harry I need a towel, he said, I already put them away. I said, so how am I supposed to dry off, shake my booty?? He said, that sounds like a song, I think I’ll write it!! 😂😂😂😂😂
Seen him 3 times ea time alot heavier. Please gt on a program to lose wt. U r so awesome all concerts were such a happy event. We want u arnd a looong time!💞🧡💚💙💜💛
Hialeah Icon! If he ever gives up singing, I think he has a shot as a stand-up comedian. Also he used to sweep floors at a record company. Maybe the guy sweeping the stage is following Harry’s path. I was fortunate to attend his 50th birthday bash at Hialeah Race Track. What a party!
I lived on 8th Avenue East 39th place. The race track I knew was a fun place to go for concerts. I saw Sonny and Cher singing in the back of a pick-up truck. Sonny was so friendly and she wasn't. Up with People performed there and Sing Out Miami (I was a member of that). Growing up in Hialeah Florida was beautiful. Your exposure to different people, cultures, food saw no boundaries. We all loved each other with strong conviction. Times were innocent. I still think of the good times surrounded by beautiful people.
I'm sure he agrees with me that it was more fun being 20 in the seventies than being 70 in the twenties. Bless his heart.
Boo. 😂
chrisn7259, Well said.
Joe Walsh said the same thing recently.
@@kevindupre4014 I totally agree.
@SlickArmor, maybe not because he is sober now , he wasn't back then.
He was my neighbour and he has always been my hometown hero, we’re friends to this day!!

SO nice to see him! He always gave off such a humble, kind vibe. Love that he's still out there enjoying his art and entertaining us ... GO KC !!
Yessss he did. I clocked that as a child and as a teen, and this clip confirmed it. Glad to see this comment
He makes me feel like its the 70s all over again. ❤
Love his music. ❤ Him
it's good he can joke about himself but at least he's still HERE to tell the jokes when so many of his contemporaries are long gone aren't they?
Exactly!
Amen! My husband is gone, his sister, and so many people I used to know. I’m so glad I have my adult kids and their kids.
He's not alone either. I saw a recent stage performance of Al Green's and I barely recognized him. Ron Isley too.@@zrunner240Z

Agreed. So many musicians from his era are long gone. It's a joy to see his show

What a sweetheart.
Best concert ever! He is amazing his band is on fire! I thought he was amazing to even address what is no one's business anyways!!
He had to address the elephant in the room.
One thing he didn’t address was that dead animal on his head…wtf!!!
