i love your criticism, especially the "we want to believe, because we wanna get something from it" part. believing not for selfishness is so pure! interesting perspective
@@mariog8297 yes, I was hoping for a much deeper answer from my teacher, but I guess we really are that selfish 😜
I like listening to you talk, it helps me fall asleep. 🤣
I'm a Quaker and there are lots of queers around the meeting house.
@@curatorofshit That's great to hear, thanks! 🤩
@@curatorofshit I've just looked that up as I didn't know it as a religion. How interesting! 😊
@@SamCarusoASMR I'm someone who is constantly engaged in activity, speaking, listening, working, etc., and the hour of silent worship once or twice a month forces me to meditate. However, anyone can stand and speak at anytime during the service so there are strange interjections. Like you, I can't go on a vacation and just lay on a beach. For example, I think I walked 140 miles last time I was in London for 1.5 weeks. 😂
@@curatorofshit it definitely helps to switch off sometimes 💪
Blimey, that's a lot of miles! I love walking in London 😍
I'm not a religious person, even though I was forced to go to religious classes for nine years.😇 I tend to view religion as a negative force. It's hard to imagine the amount of suffering that has been caused in the name of religion. In "holy" wars, in the proselytizing of other cultures, in the burning of "witches", etc. In general, how women are discriminated against in most religions. No, religion is not for me. I don't want to be a part of any kind of religion. (I'm not a fan of any cults, communities and associations anyway.😂)
I don't believe in a god, but I feel that there is some kind of higher power that holds everything together. Everything is connected somehow. I also think that the universe is so intricately/perfectly designed (by whoever?) that it operates autonomously. It runs on its own, it doesn't require the intervention of a "judging" god (or goddess😉). However, this also means that everything that happens is random. And that we have free will and we are responsible for ourselves and our actions. Amen.🙏😂
Of course, it's very difficult to express such a deep subject in a few sentences (in English!). You could discuss topics like these for hours and it would never end.
@@patrik_wilhelm Oh yes, I don't condone any of the atrocities carried out in name of any religion and I see that as the 'bad religion' created by sinful men.
As for free will, it's good to hear different opinions because I still don't know what I think about it myself, so it's all food for thought.
Languagewise, you've explained yourself very clearly 😊
ive seen a couple of videos from the youtube channel theramin tree abt religious trauma which really helped me cure some toxic habitual thought. you might find it useful
Thanks for the tip! 😉
You are Italian many father of the church there have written a lot of text about your questions , also the beautiful churches in Italy the music, the pipe organ music the beauty declares the almighty God.
Lo ammetto, mi sono innamorato di te (e si anche dei tuoi video ) ❤
@@gregoryferraro5061 finalmente un uomo che si innamora di me! ❤️😍
the audio is kind of high... like it sounds different :/ is it another mic?
@@mariog8297 If you are referring to the echo, it's because I accidentally turned it on by mistake (but this is the last video with that). If it's just the actual volume you are talking about, I might have turned it up too high while I was editing 😱 I hope it wasn't too jarring
In the end i enjoyed it non the less and i listened to the vid and fell asleep. Thank you so much ^^@@SamCarusoASMR
@@mariog8297 I'm glad it still worked 🤩 I couldn't believe it when I realised I'd accidentally filmed 4 videos with the echo on! 😱
But no more from now on 😜
😉

did you consider searching about Islam religion before and to read about it ? in is not necessarily that if your mother raised you in a specific religion means that it is the right one, always be conscious and read. do not follow anyone, just do what your heart tells you to.
@@DAISY_00X since I struggle to feel the idea of faith, I've never really thought about looking into other religions in order to potentially change to one of them
religions a scam❤
