I usually make chicken, but once in a while, I copy what a Restaurant used to do and use salt pork. I always add chopped century eggs and top with green onions, minced cilantro and usually some pork soong and always a little sesame oil or at times chili oil.

I steam rice in electric steamer with lots of water 50 minutes. Rice all soft, then coarsely blender just 3 times. Boil porridge added water desire thickness, pour in marinate chicken (cooking wine, little sugar, little oyster sauce, ginger thinly sliced, light soy sauce, corn starch), stir and taste for seasoning , 1 teaspoon chicken powder, pour in thinly chopped vegetables (spinach, salad etc), Stir awhile and serve with toppings white pepper powder, generous chopped green, fried Shallots. 1 tbsp fried garlic in porridge (optional). Cooking this method produce same result but less physical stiring for hours and use less gas, very saving on gas.

因為century egg放得太早會令到個粥有苦味😌

正确嘅煲粥方法,我阿嫲同阿妈都系咁煲。节假日我都会用砂锅用传统煲法嘅,的确好食好多,但平时无咁多时间了,唯有用多功能电饭煲咯,煲好粥底再用勉治猪肉好似生滚粥咁煲,15分钟搞掂,见好多妈妈嘅粉丝留言问有无快煮方法,可以试下呢个,但味道就一定无咁好了。

Tso Stoafong 你好!我較喜歡有米糠那種,無米糠那種是浸泡在鹽水、茶水和強驗性溶劑裡做出末,其實兩種都是要經以上的物質淹製,所以都是差不多的,有米糠那種不易被碰爛而已,多謝收看😊

用咖啡壺煲frozen的米/冷飯,粥滾了便落材料,15 分鐘有得吃。咖啡壺也可以煮番薯糖水和雞蛋白果腐竹(在原庄膠袋先壓成粉碎小小片) 糖水。
反轉熨斗煎蛋,bacon, 也可以 toast麵包。

Why the unnecessary misleading ? calling those "century egg" or some called it "thousand year egg" are so so wrong. It is "Ash Preserved Duck Eggs."
