    I am patient of diabetes mellitus , i love to know about medicines i am prescribed so that i can atleast understand its mechanism of working, any side effects and over or under dose. I take medicine only on doctors prescription.

    Excellent educational video for GPs and PG residents. Also - At 12 minutes, what is written as SGLT I should be SGLT 2 . Dapagliflozin is SGLT 2 inhibitor. Minor typing error.

    Usually we add Sulfonylureas with Metformin.
    Sitagliptin may cause deranged Liver & pancreatic enzyme levels in blood .
    I personally 3-4 such patients presented with acute pancreatitis & everyone was consuming Sitagliptin.
